I’m not sure if this location is under new management, but I had a terrible experience during my last visit. The staff’s approach to enforcing gym policies was extremely unprofessional — they ganged up on me and spoke in a condescending manner. I will not be returning to this location. This Planet Fitness is only about 25 feet away from the Charging Bull. The staff is very friendly. It’s interesting that the gym is on three floors. You enter on the top floor. The next floor down is the cardio floor and the bottom floor has the locker rooms and weights/machines. They have gotten creative with getting a lot of equipment into limited space. Equipment is updated and the facility is very clean.

The equipment is always in excellent condition, spotless, and well-maintained, which makes working out so much easier and enjoyable. The atmosphere is positive and motivating, giving you the push you need to stay consistent. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly, supportive, and welcoming, always ready to help or encourage. I visited this location today and loved it! However, I was disappointed to see a review on here that implied transgender people in the locker rooms pose a threat to women, along with 3 photos the reviewer took of somebody in various states of undress, clearly without their consent or knowledge. The “threat” narrative is extremely hypocritical; I felt vastly more threatened by the cis person taking photos of strangers undressing! I have always appreciated Planet Fitness’ commitment to inclusivity. It can be very intimidating to join a gym for the first time and it means a lot that everyone is welcome here. That extends to trans people. I have never felt uncomfortable in a locker room with a trans person, but I would feel extremely uncomfortable with someone taking pictures of a stranger minding their own business and posting them to a public platform.

More on the specifics of this location - the machines were all in great condition, everyone had good gym etiquette (no machine hogging, basically friendly but we all minded our own business). It wasn’t very crowded either.

Equipment at this location is a little on the older side but my biggest issue is with the distribution of cardio and strength training equipment. Every time I go around 7:00pm the cardio floor is mostly empty while the strength training floor is packed. I think they need to expand and increase the amount of strength training equipment. This will make the gym more efficient and better utilized of space.

Had to come here after 27th street closed (rip the best planet fitness in nyc). I love the mirrors they have all around the bottom floor. Unfortunately they don’t have the beloved front pull down and some of the other MTS machines that I enjoy. They have a lot of weights with a great range and variety of sizes. The locker room is huge! Lots of cardio machines, too many IMO. It’s not terribly busy in here usually but unfortunately some of the gym goers like to make a lot of noise in the little bit of space. Be prepared to deal with guys who growl and grunt. This is a decent replacement though after my fave location closed down.

I’m extremely disappointed with how this gym is handling a serious and ongoing issue in the women’s locker room. There’s a man who regularly loiters in the space while women are trying to change. This is a locker room—not a lounge or hangout area. He doesn’t even appear to use the gym; he just walks around, making the environment feel invasive and uncomfortable.

Despite multiple complaints, management claims they can’t do anything about it. That response is unacceptable. A locker room should be a safe, private space, and members deserve to feel secure and respected while using it.

Until this situation is properly addressed, I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone who values their privacy or safety.

I have been a long time client of Planet Fitness and this is starting to get ridiculous. They allow transgender men into the women locker rooms. How are women able to shower with trans men in the ladies room? I complained many times and they continue to allow this to happen. And it is bad for business because they are losing clients to accommodate one individual. I understand if the person is in and out of the lockers, but they allow the trans person to lounge and stay in the lockers with women undressing and showering. This is ridiculous.

Please put all benches back in the men's locker room at 25 Broadway, Wall Street NYC locatoon, which were taken away. People need to be able to sit and put their bag / things on something while changing, rather than on a dirty or wet floor, and having to standing all the time.
No other gym, anywhere, takes AWAY benches from lockers.
Please also have the 3 sink soap dispensers working in the men's bathroom. They have each been without working soap dispensers..and one does not even have running hot water. If men cannot wash their hands with soap and hot water, this leads to spread of germs and illness in your gym.

I believe this gym needs a refresh/remodel. There are several dark hidden gaps throughout the gym, especially in the locker room, where an attacker can hide. As a result, I felt very unsafe.

The massage chair section is located on the second floor, while the locker rooms are on the third floor, causing a lot of inconvenience. Additionally, the HVAC system is not working at this part of the gym as well, as the massage chair section felt extremely humid. The area where the machines are next to this was fine and felt comfortable. Despite this, kudos for upgrading the massage chairs to the latest model though!

All of the cardio machines lack TV service and show a blue screen instead of the channel. All in all, these issues make me feel very hesitant working out at this location going forward.

I had very bad experience. Workers harras me. I think they don't like me I do my hair make up. It's like they are jealous of me. They try to humillate in many ways. Because I did not use my Snickers one of them because I spek up. They told me they will call the police I did instead of him police never show up. When I get back I was suspended. I went to this planet fitness for almost two months after arriving from China and everyone was kind and welcoming with a smile until I had a problem with my bill and shared my concerns with the manager Cameron, I tried to express my concerns but he was rude and interrupting me halfway into my concern. He kept raising his voice and asking me to tell him he was right. He was more concerned about being right above anything else. We kept talking about 2 different things only because he refused to listen and kept interrupting me. I even tried to deescalate his angry behavior by offering him an apology because we weren’t understanding each other and his response was “I don’t need an apology because I am right.” I only hope the lines are recorded because they will realize his true self. Needless to say I will be canceling my membership and joining a different gym in the Wall Street area.

Today I suffered a robbery at this gym. Someone broke the lock on my locker and stole hundreds of dollars worth of belongings. I informed management about the incident, but the expectation of getting the item back is very low. From what I have seen and heard this is a common practice, as for obvious reasons there are no cameras in the locker rooms, but clearly this lends itself to theft and other worrying situations.

The Wall St. Pf is an excellent gym with a layout that encourages full body enhancement, I loved it! I went to use the massage chairs and noticed a woman talking loudly before coming near and figured I'd give her time to finish her heated discussion so I stretched and after at least 7 minutes of her still on the chair I thought perhaps she was just sitting there. As I came closer I noticed the chair was not only on but she was barefoot her crusty dusty feet cramped into the area where typically your calves would go and she smelled. I had places to be so I sat and just tried to enjoy my massage when I realized halfway through my massage she inserted several more coins! And she was arguing with a family member the entire time.

I relaxation zone is so far away from everyone and thing I don't blame staff for not noticing this bizarre person but it was unpleasant nonetheless.

The gym itself is cleaned well , the staff are nice and the machines typically kept well conditioned.

I would love to rate the gym better, but there are huge issues with air conditioning there.

I’m a member for several months already and there is always hot and even hard to breathe in most of the areas.

Usually I’m here in morning hours and I can’t imagine how hard to do the work outs at the end of the day with lots of people in the gym without the air conditioner.

The cellar level smells really bad like the sewer a lot of the time. The ladies bathroom is not kept clean as often as it should be. I really like this Planet Fitness. I visit this location quite often. Big locker rooms, good amount of cardio and weights and of course the staff. The staff members are really nice. From the morning crew to the night crew. It's a very mellow with a good energy.

The manager of this planet fitness needs to be stopped. The disrespect and belittling I have encountered with this man is unlike any attitude I have had to deal with in the work place. He accused me and my friends of “breaking policies” and “causing problems” in the gym when we are simply just there to workout. Cameron put restrictions on our accounts that informed other planet fitnesses to ask us for id when entering. He then proceeded to cancel all our memberships and forged signatures to do so. Cameron is mad because our ages don’t match with the ones on our accounts. Now let’s stop acting like we don’t put random birthdays on websites or what not I wasn’t that worried about it, nor did I think it was a problem. No other planet fitness has had issues with me and my friends behavior as we’re just girls trying to get bubble butts this summer. I was really taken back by Cameron morris ‘ treatment towards a customer as in my work experience the customer is always right. I don’t think he handled this situation appropriately at all and would like to shed light on the fact that he jumped to his own conclusions and barely let us talk. I’m appalled by the treatment we endured here as it was once our favorite gym. Also a final point being that none of his colleagues had any issues with us in the gym while he wasn’t present.

Planet robbery! Staff member told me I wouldn't pay any cancellation fees ! That was a lie and the managers excuse was he wasn't fully trained. I'm getting robbed monthly for a membership I don't want or use.

Update 14 months after receiving a response this gym has done nothing to fix the situation. This morning I noticed I was charged a fee for an annual membership when my membership ended two months ago. Im in the process of putting in fraud charges due to unauthorized payment. I called the branch as usual no manger available and the employees will always lie about that. I would advise everyone to stay as far away from planet fitness as possible. The management team will be of no assistance. In the course of 14 months they illegally altered my membership terms which I emailed proof of as I took pics and video when I signed the contract. On top of that they are charging me annual fees when my membership was officially over in December.

False advertising! They do not have classes. I spoke to someone at the gym, joined, enrolled in a workout class and then was told they don't have classes and that I made a mistake. After showing the manager my confirmation they blamed it on corporate. As I was leaving I noticed a sign in the entry area highlighting the classes they have. I was told that is an old sign that should be taken down, but they may restart classes again in the future. It looked like a fine bare bones gym if that is what you are looking for.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful. The enviroment is great, never crowded when I go (which is typically 4-6pm). They have an excellent offer of machines, and the space itself is just very open and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend :))

The location of this Planet Fitness is really convenient from the train. As many others have stated, it's not very crowded if you can get there before 5. It does get a bit crowded after 5, but I usually don't have a problem with accessing the machines or weights I need in a timely fashion. I like that there is a lot of space on either floor to get what you need, and the staff is friendly.

My main critique is twofold: (1) the Women's locker room is kind of gross--one of the sinks is always clogged and the toilet seats are worn out and old and (2) it seems like there are always some of the same machines that are out of order. Most other locations I go to feel much cleaner and up-to-date than this location.

**Hopefully the owners see this review** Gym staff is great. GM is friendly and cares about cleanliness etc. staff also does an amazing job. Since new GM (Cam) took over Gym is 100x better. My criticism is that there is an entire floor or cardio equipment that even on the busiest day at the busiest time maybe 1/4 of it is being used. Meanwhile if you want an area to do kettle bells or calisthenics or full body workouts even just abs and stretches you have to literally squeeze into a tiny piece of dirty floor in a corner or by a closet or something. People are literally laying on the floor in the walking paths and u have to step over them because there is no space. Please remove some of the treadmills and climb machines. You could remove 1/2 of them and still have enough. And open the floor up to allow people space to do kettlebells/full body etc. also install a TRX stretching cage. These 2 things would improve the gym 10 fold easily. Otherwise great gym.

I cant even imagine someone wanting to put this place down...Forget the price..Planet Fitness has a great recipe for the "Make it work" This particular P.F. down by the Bull is Well kept....Staff is nice and members are cordial and respectful..I dont know what else you'd want..

Great gym, never crowded and equipment is rarely broken or "temporarily out of order." Only thing is the equipment wipe formula. Needs to be checked on for emptiness a little more often. Otherwise, the best gym in the City!

Came to this place thinking is cool nice since it’s Wall Street and the front desk receptionist horrible service mo help for me to be my first time !! Brought a lock broken from them didn’t get no refund!!! Just HORRIBLE

I really like the one on wall st. It not over crowded at 6 am till bout 4 pm then after 4 the after work crowd comes in.. this specific gym makes u feel comfortable not like the other PFs.. it also clean n nice staff. One thing they NEED r the stair masters

Θελω να μοιραστώ την εμπειρία μου μαζί σας..Ως τουρίστρια στο μέρος θέλαμε να κάνουμε εγγραφή στο γυμναστήριο για κάποιες ημέρες,έγινε χρεωση δυο φορές μετά από λάθος του υπαλληλου και εφόσον τον ενημερώσαμε για αυτο μας παρέπεμψε στον υπεύθυνο χωρίς όμως να μας βοηθήσουν.. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν να μην βγάλουμε άκρη καθώς κανείς δεν μας βοήθησε δίνοντας μας ένα αριθμό τηλεφώνου ..το σημαντικότερο ομως, δεν μπορείς να κάνεις προπόνηση στο κάτω χώρο του γυμναστηρίου λόγο κρυου..

Amazing facility - plenty of cardio machines, smith machines, free weights, and workout machines. Better yet it’s split so that one floor is primarily cardio/stretching and the other is for weightlifting which helps when structuring one’s workout. Overall, highly recommend.
