I’m giving it 5 Stars because of the Equipment and the Spacing is amazing. I’m not always greeted when I walk in and I try to atleast make eye contact and nod and say something but it’s ok I know we’re all human and life is life so god bless the staff and I’m wishing them peace and tranquility. The space at the gym allows for breathing room, in terms of cleanliness the staff does an amazing job at keeping the gym clean but so many members set the gym culture back. Grateful overall for this space and the amazing people I’ve met at this location. Peace and Blessings 🙏🏽✨✨✨✨✨

Your associate was a bit hostile about garbage please do not approach people about nonsense, I suffer from mental illness and I don’t need to get thrown off, I take care of my area and go about my business as usual, if you guys are having a stressful day it shouldn’t be on everyone else. Also when will one of your kick back machine be replaced it’s bound to cause a knee injury, something is wrong with the cable for a really long time as I have spoken with a team member about it.
And why is the AC not around the whole gym? Is it broken still or is it a light bill situation , I don't want to leave any negative reviews but theres no managers ever in sight to speak to, how do we resolve these issues that many of us been having for a very long time?

I do like coming in the gym to relax. However, today is Sunday afternoon & people are breaking the rules by talking on the phone. So I went downstairs to complain about it. No staff came up to investigate. Then a few minutes later another person started talking on their phones. I had to leave & told the staff in front. UPDATE (Summer 2025): They have me wanting to cancel my membership with all these kids they're allowing inside for free! They're extremely loud and disruptive! One was running on the treadmill with a backpack on, and his friend was increasing the speed all the way up. I'm staring at them, knowing he's gonna get hurt. Instead, he yanks the emergency brake right off, damaging the emergency brake. They're not even adhering to the gym rules they have posted up all over the gym! Wearing jeans to work out. These kids gotta go!

Dirty and Junky Planet Fitness I've ever been to.
It is impossible to go to the lockers because of the odor smell, they never clean anything in this location. My lock was broken 3 times in two years and one(1) time by a staff member by mistake… staff is rude, unfriendly, and with an unprofessional attitude.
I never plan to return and would advise you to do the same!

Today during the 3pm hour after my girlfriend and I were done with the gym, we were in the seating area eating fruits. An employee approached us and asked if we’re waiting for someone, we told her no. She then proceeded to ask why are we sitting there, we responded saying we were having a quick bite of fruits, she then said in a demeaning and rude tone well you can’t sit here because you aren’t members. We responded saying we are members. We were left appalled due to her lack of professionalism and considering the fact that she was at the front desk when her coworker checked us in. We are frequent members of this specific location and hope that nobody experiences what we had experienced today. We didn’t get ahold her name due to her not wearing a name tag but she seemed to be an older Hispanic lady in her late 40s/early 50s.

My biggest complaint and the complaint of many others who’ve iv encountered in this gym is the use of the smith machines for training at this location. There are individuals who take it upon themselves to train others using all of the smith machines for HOURS. It is inconvenient to others and inconsiderate of our time. In the past I have had to wait 1 hour for 1 singular smith machine which people were lined up for because the other 3 were being used by a rotation of individuals being trained. I let the front desk know and they told me they understood but couldn’t do anything… isn’t this against the PF policy? I don’t understand.

My husband is a member and had been since 2013. We usually visit this site since it’s closest to us. It’s not the nicest of gyms but it’s d e c e n t. Most of the treadmills are either wobbly or out of order. Most of the isolated machines could use some extra TLC. The clean up area is lazily put together, when the rolls of paper are actually there, they are usually on top of the garbage cans 🤢

I’m here almost everyday and am shocked how no one seems to pay any attention to the treadmills that aren’t working. It’s been weeks and more than 15 of them are not functioning, this has been the case for weeks. Not sure if it’s management or if management isn’t getting support from the corporate folks but something needs to be done, don’t be surprised if revenue goes down if this continues without a solution. Not to mention that some that do work are unstable and not leveled, causing the user to be unbalanced and potentially fall (an avoidable liability).

I don’t really feel heard at this gym, I’ve hurt myself trying to adjust machines and I may have to bring my own supplies to adjust machines missing a piece, too much time is wasted waiting for something to be fixed and if I’m being charged $40 a year for gym Maintenance I don’t understand why broken machines or missing piece are not being taken care of. Ropes for cable machines are also usually missing or said to be stollen, there should be some sort of staff on floor from time through time….and other machines that need adjustment, I’ve never seen the manger so idk who to speak to about these problems.

This last year, the gym seems to be overcrowded. Working out during the morning o during the afternoon, you will have the problem of cannot use the dumbbells. If you want to do cardio, most threadmills are out of adjustment and the good ones are always busy. I really don’t recommend it.

The only thing. During your workout, air conditioners blow directly onto your wet back and neck. Could you turn the valves up? This is easy to do simply with your hands or a stick. I'm serious. The room will still be cold, but there will be no air flow through the body. I'm looking forward to summer with caution. Because last year I blew between my shoulder blades and my neck twice. I will be very grateful if you do this for me.

This is a mediocre/borderline abysmal gym. I've been a member of this club for several years ever since J's Big Gym abruptly closed. The bathroom soap dispensers are barely stocked save for one sink, meatheads and selfie-obsessed women hog the Smith machines-- good luck getting one unless you go quite early and/or have the patience of a saint!-- and people can stay on a bench/machine for ages if they're glued to their phones. In 2024, it's hilarious seeing permanently frozen screens of a Fox News clown in a blue blazer's smile for weeks, several TVs off, and random plates on the dumbbell racks. A machine is broken? Prepare to improvise! The only things I'll give the gym are that it has good accessibility options and members mostly leave you alone. Are you planning to go 5pm-close after work on weekdays? Good luck getting a decent workout in with everything in sight occupied! Sadly, the only other gym options in The Heights are Blink Fitness and park rec centers. I hope the day comes when another gym opens up in the vicinity to jump ship to. Until then, I will swallow my bitter pill and continue going to this gym.
