Have been going to this place for years and recently I cancelled my membership in person 3 months ago they charged me the month after I cancelled it and said they would take care of it and then I got charged again the manager Ninif was ignoring me all day and the guy that works there Mike was planing games telling me she’s busy out on break etc so I had someone else call and ask to speak to the manager and they said she left lol I just got off the phone with Mike 5 min prior and he said she was busy so yeah a lot of lying and when I had someone else call Mike asked them on the phone is this Elizabeth Gonyou she said no as she had me on 3 way. What the heck if that’s not avoiding a customer!!!! So I finally went down there and it wasn’t a good experience the manager stuck up for Mike saying he didn’t know she was in the building covering up for him I said well that pretty funny 10 min ago he said your were busy so he did know u were in the building. So I’m still being charged and I called corporate What a joke the manager is and Mike !!!!

I've traveled the country, and gone to maybe 30-40 different locations. This one is a consistent standout for accommodating and kind staff as well as courteous patrons. Get new treadmills.

Frustrating when u go in to do 30 minute workout that says 30 minute workout area ONLY & there are
3 -4 others in there clogging up the works in an area that says MUST be completed in ORDER, playing w/thier phones, taking their sweet time in between their sets, acting like they own the place !! Unless ur paying for a private training session !!!!! Then it's ok to screw up someone else's workout. The same machines are available in the regular area but apparently these people are smart enough to pay for/get private training but not smart or considerate enough to find the machines on the floor. So not cool. i asked the folks at the front desk what's up with that and they're the ones we told me those people have trainers and were allowed to do what they were doing.

For months, they wouldn’t let me switch to my home gym where I live. Took out $60 when I cancelled ,when they told me I didn’t have to pay anything. Their boss is never there to handle the cancellation. The poor workers always telling me to call back because they can’t do anything to help me. This is the worst gym ever. I’m so happy I’m never going back and actually I’m never going to a planet fitness gym ever again.

Staff is very rude..my 1st time going I wasn't even greeted at all, I asked questions s and they acted like I was bothering them. 2nd time I went I was treated horribly!! Staff is so rude!! I called ahead to see if my son could come and the girl said yes then I was told no when we got there after going already 2 times.

Absolutely horrible. I was a member since they opened. They've had like 50 different assistant managers and 20+ Managers. Terrible customer service. They treated me horribly, a life long VIP member. Plus they are over run with students. Go to the new gym in town Studio 22.

I highly ecommend this place even if you are nervous about joining a gym. This place has a very relaxed atmosphere. I always feel like I can go here and get a good work out in without being bothered or uncomfortable.
People are nice here.
Clean bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, equipment, filtered water is pretty good. I haven't been a member that long but it's definitely worth the monthly price for what you get.
I find that going later at night it is less packed. But there is always plently of equipment and tons of treadmills. Love planet fitness.

My son went into the Oswego Planet Fitness last night to try out the summer program they are offering adolescents. The guy working behind the counter did not treat my son with respect. He started by making remarks about my son's hair...the remarks continued as he finished signing up for his membership. He was rude and had smart remarks during the whole process. I would like to know that my son can go into a place of business and be led by example on how adults are supposed to act. He should have been made to feel welcome there. Such a shame really....😞

My Home Gym, I Love the employees and everyone iv ever spoken to there has been so polite* Iv had a few good conversations and feel like there is a facial recognition now when I go there to work out. I recommend the Hydro Beds after any workout, just helps loosen up the Body 🤗

By far my favorite planet fitness location. Always clean and has a good community. The staff are great too and really informative besides the woman with the short dark hair. I’m pretty sure she’s a manager but she never acknowledges me when I’m at the counter or even says have a good day or hi. At one point I asked about the tanning beds and no one could tell me what level they were. I feel like if you are going to provide tanning beds you should know more about them. Other than that I love this gym

Been a loyal member since 2014... I just don’t understand the point of masks if there’s more than 100 people in the gym at once? There’s literally no social distance at all.. you have to wait 30 minutes to use a machine due to many people being in the gym at once! It’s really dangerous and it should be controlled because if one has COVID then everyone at the gym will. The gym owner should consider lowering the capacity of the gym at once. Consider setting up appointments through the app to make it easier for everyone.

I have been asking the oswego club to stop my membership for over a year. This started and then covid 19 cause for planet fitness to close. I could not get a hold of anyone. I have been told I have to go there to close account. When I drove 45 minutes to get there for the computer system to be down. I have called to be told the same things over and over. I even asked for a manager to call me back with no response. Planet fitness was great when I signed up. Since I have requested to close my account I have been ignored and that is very wrong.

It's generally quiet and clean. It is small, and not one of the higher-end Planet Fitness locations. But, we should he thankful that there's one here at all! This one covers all the basic equipment, and the bathroom/shower/changing area is pretty good. I wouldn't try to go at the absolute busiest times if you like some space while you work out.

Just moved back to New York a couple months ago and started using planet fitness again. The first day I came in Danielle was absolutely amazing, very helpful and always has a smile on her face. I’ll be on a roll with going then I’ll catch a single group of girls staring at me and a few others (even the girl that come in with autism) pointing and laughing. I’ve never had this issue with a gym ever. I’ve also never been to a gym where one person can take two machines and it’s okay, same girl did that. Leg press then ran back and forth to the other leg machine in front of the bikes. What if someone help wanted to use them but couldn’t because she’d get in and off without even wiping it down. I feel as it’s always to hot as well when it’s a little cold out (understand when it’s snowing), which makes it a little hard to work out too..over all, it’s a good gym.

The hydro message is great! #6 is the warmest and has the best pressure. Although, since it's used most it might be wearing out. It was malfunctioning recently. The white paper towels are more absorbent than the brown ones in Hudson's P.F. The newly installed blaring music and public service announcements are TOO LOUD and annoying while I'm working out. Good thing I'm hard of hearing. I turn my hearing aids off when I'm there, and it's still TOO LOUD! $till it's a good value until I can find a gym with a hydro message that will let me workout in peace and quiet. P.S. BTW if you don't want the music video eye candy while using the chair message you can turn the TV off! Hallelujah!

Just got a membership and so far so good! The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Brandon (Personal Trainer). He took the time to answer all of my questions and explain in detail the weekly workout that he custom made for me based on my goals. I joined with the $1 down Black Card membership and I have to admit, the unlimited use of their Hydro-Massage tables alone is worth every penny of the membership. Loved it so much, I got my boyfriend a BC membership for his birthday and he loves it too!

I have been to a few different PFs. One in a medium sized town in Wisconsin the other (2) in a small city in Illinois. All of them were better than this one. Showers are about what you would find in a trailer. Small and confining. The rest is about what you would find in most other PFs. People are nice. Wish they had the beauty Angel instead of all the tanning.
