I had no problem with, finding a machine to work out with. The treadmill was also very open. The locker room was very clean and easy to navigate. Over All planet fitness was a very enjoyable experience.

I still like working out here BUT the treadmills are horrible. Almost every one has a worn out board. I've mentioned to staff multiple times. Nothing done. It's been worsening for the past 6-8 months. Are they waiting for someone to get hurt? Come on...do better. UPDATE 10/7/25. TREADMILLS STILL DO NOT HAVE DECKS(actually 3 treadmills upstairs got new decks). They are slowly getting worse. It's so sad seeing that the staff are Awesome. Putting PF on notice. I now have had 2 patients in my office who injured there lower backs due to the broken treadmills.

Unique PF in that it has an upstairs that consists of a bunch of cardio machines. The circulation is not the best up there so they put a box fan by the treadmills but can’t someone on the staff spend 5 mins and clean it?! Absolutely ridiculous. And I know most don’t shower at the gym but the showers at this PF are the smallest I’ve ever seen and have the water coming out from the wall and hitting the curtains so of course there is going to a bunch of water on the floor outside of the changing rooms! Whoever designed this location needs to be fired. Staff is nice and the rest of the gym was clean.

I was visiting Plattsburgh from Vermont. Wow! What a surprise, love the remodel! Very roomy and clean. Only complaint...maybe just a few larger lockers for us who come from work...room for clothes, jackets, gym bags, etc. Otherwise, the place looks great! Great staff... glad I have Black card! Just came back from my first visit. It was fine. Especially liked the Hydromassage bed. ONE complaint: Half the machines in the :30 minute workout area face the wrong way from the ‘traffic light’. I had to do a Linda Blair head/neck twist to see it. Suggest either turn the machines around or hang another light off the ceiling on the other end of the area.

This was my first time andi was a guest on a black card member. Very easy process and user friendly. The place is clean and people are mindful of the equipment and clean up after themselves. The black card member does have to be there to check you in, but other than that it's all good. You can work out as long as you want. You and the member can leave at separate times. The card member has to ensure they list you as a guest on their account. Today I used the treadmill and got a nice workout. Plan on being the guest through the winter before I decide if membership is worth it. This is a nice place for simple workouts and to get and stay fit.

My last PF was a few days ago across New York in Syracuse, but I'm here now and ready for another workout this afternoon. Easy to check in with my Black Card and find a locker to secure my stuff. The thirty minute circuit worked well with no problems. Two other people there and we managed to work around each other pretty well.

After, shower was good for hot water but again with the "no shelf" for my stuff. Big enough and clean (even though I always wear shower shoes) but balancing my shampoo and such on the floor is a pain.

Plenty of parking and super easy to find in the shopping center.

I can't think of any complaints......other than the air conditioner being down for a day or so during this summer (2024), but it was fixed really promptly. I have always felt like there is more than enough equipment to go around even when it's busy; staff are friendly and competent; the app is decent (so far); the owners seem responsive to issues/repairs needed/concerns; they sell convenience stuff like locks and also have protein shakes amd drinks there.

They've been closed, or have been having LIMITED facilities for remodeling for probably a month now. Very inconvenient !!
Tanning beds weren't working. And they've gotten rid of the red light - Beauty Angel Therapy machine, here in Plattsburgh.
Never mind what WOMEN may like or use !! This removal is a huge mistake. There are new businesses opening across the country that offer (red) LIGHT THERAPY. Continues to grow !

Not very happy with the fact that between my husband and I spend $50 a month because we enjoy tanning but lately the beds have been terrible. I dropped an ear bud in a stair master. Tori took the machine apart and we could not find it anywhere. She told me the equipment would be cleaned Monday and she would leave a note and try to locate it for me.(I was already grieving the loss and calculating cost of replacement right before holidays) But guess what? SHE FOUND IT!!! In a world where few go the extra mile she went above and beyond to get that back to me and I really appreciate it.
The gym itself is clean with nice equipment but space is way too small. Very little room to use free weights and thats a huge drawback for me. But the staff make it worthwhile.

You have a good equipment and a nice atmosphere but if you want to be treated like a person, not the place to be if you want to have reasonably time service this is not the place to be if you would like to be told to wait five minutes in a bed, will be ready for you. 20 minutes later they still have not cleaned the bed. This is a place for you. If you prefer dirty equipment this is a place for you if you prefer that the staff is rude no matter what you’re trying to do this is the place for . I am beyond with the type of customer service that I have gotten through multiple people over the last year of my membership here only be told cancel I didn’t pay for month 6 months ago that I owe money when they take the money directly out of my account and I have bank records to prove and you’re probably barely 21 employee is stating how they can take me to collections and that they will go ahead and do that for 23 bucks will please do the judge will laugh at all the way out door ….really people are we gonna play this kind of game like you can’t just have a decent establishment is sad so if this is the kind of stuff that you’re into having when you go out to places and spend your money. This is the place for you then I highly recommend it.

Often not overcrowded in the morning about 8 when I like to go. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone respectfully seems to clean equipment after each use with additional cleaning from staff. Tanning beds aren't the best when it comes to availability as this local one only has one stand up and one lay down functioning for quite some time. This place has completely gone downhill. I have been a member for quite a few years. Most of the staff are very pleasant however the cleanliness of this facility is not up to par. The women's bathrooms are very gross. I went there today, and the same stall had the same feces mark on the toilet from when I was there 3 days prior. The garbage's in the women's locker room are always overflowing, soap dispensers are usually empty. I get it that all places are understaffed but there is absolutely no excuse for not cleaning. This is very sad because this facility used to always be clean. I would always see staff out on the floors cleaning machines or in the locker room's cleaning. I don't see that anymore.

The Price is Right. They could do a better job on being mask police during mask mandates. They could do a better job on making sure that people sanitize equipment when they are done. Gym opens at 7am on Saturday?! I have never experienced such a late opening gym... PF is a franchise, I travel a lot for work and use many other locations. I have never ran into this issue. Are we going to continue to use COVID as an excuse not to provide quality service? Recommendation- take the money you spend on bagels/ pizza and pay your employees to open up a few hours earlier. I am going to the gym, not brunch.
