The staff has treated me with the utmost respect and welcomed me since day one that I signed up.. I hold a black card membership which includes tanning, hydro massage chairs, a body enhancement machine, as well as regular massage chairs..The manager Keke is an incredible manager who holds herself & staff in high regards to the spectacular job they all do to accommodate every aspect of keeping the GYM running effectively..They do an amazing job of keeping the GYM clean & machines running efficiently, any problems are addressed & fixed in a timely manner. This is truly a judgement free zone & I always feel great entering & leaving..This is truly an exceptional staff & they all work extremely well together, under a dignified manager who works with integrity herself..I love going to this GYM seeing as I go about 5 days a week! First rate staff, but they need more stair machines. There are 30 elliptical trainers but only 4 stair machines. Often, the stair machines are all filled up and dozens of ellipticals are unused. They need to get rid of some ellipticals and get more stair machines. Then it gets five stars.

I have found the staff to be exceptional at this location. I have been to Planet Fitness sites in many states. This location is ALWAYS clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous and professional at all times. I would gladly refer people here.

I am looking forward to the site’s expansion. They could definitely benefit from additional cable training stations and stair master machines which seem to have a constant demand.

I was lucky enough to use one of the wellness pods at a Myrtle Beach location. As a physician, I monitor my blood pressure on a regular basis. I can tell you that this equipment had a significant effect of lowering my blood pressure in a measurable way. I think this would be incredibly beneficial to the members and would greatly increase the number of black card members at your facility. I would be more than happy to write a testimonial for you if you were to get the equipment.

Super clean - including bathrooms, massage chair and tanning/ wellness areas also the workout areas. They have super friendly staff, it is a very well managed PF location. Deceiving facility as it looks quite small but has ample equipment, and is setup to optimize the space it has. Can get crowded at times but theres a good crowd with solid workout expertise and help the less experienced. Im an experienced athlete and lift heavy. Worked out at Golds in Islip and LA fitness previously. I still lift really heavy at PF on smiths and have never been bothered by staff, just use common sense don’t slam weights and be respectful of this environments rules, pretty simple.. TBH a lot of people that slam weights even at other more bodybuilding and powerlifting friendly gyms are being excessive, my squat is 495 deadlift max 585 and bench 385, I work with weight I can control so I don’t have to slam it and just abide by the patrons rules simple as that. From experience other gyms are dirty get packed, and theres plenty exercises I can substitute into my routine at PF to get an excellent workout. Hope this helps.

From the start of 2024, I have been going to this planet fitness 5-6 days a week and I love this gym! The gym is in great shape and the people are very friendly who come. The most important people that I appreciate are the kind staff who make the gym what it is. All of the wonderful people who work there such as Justin, Kiki, Janet, especially Jessica and every other employee who make this gym a pleasure to wake up early to go to each day. They make me feel appreciated for going, they always greet me when I come in and always make me feel like I am doing my best no matter how easy or hard my workout is that day. I have observed a noticeable improvement in my Planet Fitness in Port Jefferson station in the past 3 -4 years. Staff is super friendly and attentive to all walk through the door. The place is spotless and there is always some staff member cleaning like I’ve never seen cleaning in a gym ever: taking free weights off the rack and dusting the racks!! Mopping the treadmills!!!! I suspect much of this comes from the manager, Keke as her own enthusiasm is off the charts.

Came into this location and was stopped after I scanned my card I was told I need to change my cc information or I would not be able to use the facilities I asked if my membership dues were behind and informed the person at the desk ,Kiki, that my dues are paid from my bank account Kiki told me I didn't have a balance and that if I didn't give a new card I would again not be able to to use the facilities I told her I was not comfortable giving up my credit card information at this time and will clear this up another time I called my home gym in Rocky point and they told me that everything was good on their end and I should be able to use their facilities I put the phone on speaker phone and had style( sorry if this is not his name) speak what he has told me I asked for a card to write a complaint because of the way I was spoken to and embarrassed in front of other members to file a complaint none was given instead Kiki wrote on a posted note the email I found this whole experience extremely rude and frustrating as my dues were not up I did not owe and I have my bank account on file the way I was spoken to by Kiki was extremely unprofessional and rude also to not take the simple steps to see that my account has no balance and that my bank account was on file was wrong how can Kiki think its ok to threaten to throw members out who don't owe a balance? I'm so happy this is not my home gym!

This location has grew staff and great customers who come in. 100% always having equioment, and location cleaned and decontamination for customers. Staff actually do their jobs and do it well. They are constantly monitoring who comes in with scanning in with app, constantly cleaning equipment which is important since the pandemic. I'm not entirely to sure if any of the employees get a bonus for a signing customers up, but I recommend TJ I think that's her name, she's a nice person and hard worker and Ty. The monitor, clean equipment and help this customers and deserve any bonuses they get with new sign ups. Any new customers that come in 💯% recommend these two employees to sign up with they take good care of you.

Supposedly the gym is free of criticism and discrimination, but the manager is the worst worker in this place I think her name is KEKE . I had been going to that gym for a year and I always had to have a problem with her. I made the payments and she always stopped me and told me that I had to pay a certain amount. yesterday , I paid for the month of July and I attended the gym the next day, she told me that my card was declined and I had my receipt, but with a very ugly attitude and speaking loudly as if she wanted to get people's attention I canceled my membership and she never tried to fix it oh apologize to me and in the end when I canceled my membership she accepted that I did paid , and first she told me no she has a very ugly attitude!

AVOID signing up for membership at this place or Planet Fineness AT ALL. They would not cancel my membership, saying I would need to come in person or write a letter, despite telling them I moved out of state already.
