The gym set up itself is such a nightmare compared to prior years. The showers are the smallest I've seen. Lastly the available hours have me really in a twist Friday and Saturday they close SO early yet they're 24hrs monday-thursday? So odd I might email corporate and ask why maybe they can't staff it but I know for parents and college students it's probably very inconvenient

Truck driver friendly. Shower heater was broken so that was pretty uncomfortable and I feel that’s something that should be fixed immediately by any plumber that is nearby and when I read other reviews that it’s been broken for weeks that isn’t Good ownership. I would not go back. Its really small for a PF facility. Really small actually. Could not find anyone at the Front desk (8:30pm), the mens facilities were disgusting. No one wipes the sinks, the floors, sweeps cleans. Nothing was done.
I am so glad I only went on a Free 1 Day trial. Ill stick with the Glens Falls YMCA.

Was told you can’t cancel online and had to go in to cancel in person that it was the only way to cancel. then was told there is an online option from a phone call after being billed but the person couldn’t tell me how or where the option online was and they don’t do refunds. It’s also not a judgement free zone. The notation on the account was not what they said during the original phone call. I would not use planet fitness. Their contracts are for their benefit in order to keep billing you.

It is very nice. Men's locker rooms could be cleaner and all Planet Fitness I have been to seem to have problems with wet floors due to lower grade shower curtains. Also this facility seems to be more social than Saratoga or Latham. Nice that it is social but there is a couple that talks more than works out (mornings)as well as three women coming in mornings who do the same. A little loud and obnoxious.

Visiting the area for my daughter's softball tournament at the near bye Sports Dome. It was great to be able to not miss a day at the gym or spend too much time trying to figure out the layout of equipment. It was clean, had everything other locations has and staff was welcoming.

If I could give this gym a 0 star rating I would, but unfortunately that is not an option. At this gym, it is not a judgement free zone- if you want to go here to better yourself and push yourself to your goals, I highly suggest finding another gym to do this at. Even while not being disruptive, if they hear you breathing too loud or grunting while lifting weights, the manager himself will personally put judgement on you with undermining commentation. It's unfortunate, when you walk in the advertise themselves as a "positive, judgement free zone" and the staff are honestly great in that way, but the management/regional management is unfortunately not. 8 people canceled their membership today, that's $800 a month due to judgemental comments from higher ups.
All in all, I highly suggest anyone looking for a judgement free zone, not to go to Planet Fitness, in Queensbury especially.

This is probably the best couple dollars I spend a month on this membership. Friendly staff, fairly clean, decent vibe. January sucks with the resolutionaries and it’s mobbed but all the other months it is a great place to get your fitness on. I love working out a this PF! Ann is always in a good mood and is so helpful. And the manager lady (long brown hair sorry i didnt get her name) is always so nice! They all are so helpful and cheerful when you go in. They are ready to help. I have a ton of anxiety when it comes to working out at the gym and they make the hard part ( getting in the door) easy. Thank you to everyone at the front desk for making the gym my happy place!

As for the gym its self, they have tons of options for everyone. You could shake up your routine, or go lite if your starting out. And i alwayd like to end up in the hydrobed after a tough workout! The place is clean and organized! Love it!

Dirty machines, equipment is usually just scattered on the floor. Tanning beds rooms are very tight and bed always have blown bulbs. Always at least a 15 minute wait for dirty tanning beds. I know gym are usually on the warmer side but a little air circulation wouldn’t hurt this location. Your choking on every members sweat and body heat. Very disappointing coming from the Saratoga location which is ran by a bunch of kids where queensbury is ran by grown adults that don’t really care to do much.

Charged me $45 in late fees without telling me and then refused to refund me when I figured it out. Told me they called and emailed but never got a call or email. Hilariously got an email as soon as I cancelled the membership so I guess their email system works fine just not if you're getting over charged.
The facility itself is not great. Wilton is much cleaner and nicer. Half the time the bathroom is out of order. I wouldn't recommend getting a membership here.

The best planet fitness I’ve ever been to I’ve been coming got about 3 years and I’ve NEVER seen the gym dirty or anything but perfection. The employees are amazing and go beyond and above to make you comfortable and well educated on the Machines. I am a member of the original Planet fitness over 30 years ago in Dover New Hampshire. I have lived in Boston and currently in the Midwest. I travel frequently. After some time I thought about what Planet fitness is I have been to. Right around the 20th one that I could recall I decided to start counting. Glen falls Planet fitness has become number 110. There is nothing like this club. The gym arrangement and the lighting is unmatched. This club is on a level by itself. I had a fabulous conversation the two times I visited. One with Dan and the other with tim. Both men were exceptionally pleasant and offered great recommendations for the area. I don't want anyone to think that I always say this about planet fitnesses so therefore I will tell you the worst I ever saw was Denver. Not kidding. I was very surprised. Filthy and very small. The one in downtown Milwaukee should close permanently and do the members of favor. Lol. Morgantown West Virginia has just become my second favorite as a top spot goes to Glen Falls. One more special shout out to Tim who was working alone the final few hours the gym was open on the Saturday before Christmas. That would not be an easy task but not for one moment did this young man exude anything other than hospitable professionalism. Grateful to everyone. Thank you.

Clean gym. Not for old school. Black membership makes sense if you travel a lot which is let you to go all planet fitness gyms. All equipments are from life fitness. No rust no problem.

This is my update review. 08.29.2023. They have closed to gym for maintenance about 4 days. This morning i went to workout and they have updated dates. And extended to Saturday without any notice. I drove to saratoga which is 20 miles from this gym.

$22/month to tan, beds AND booths available. When I looked into other tanning places in the area it was more expensive and you only have access to a bed.

It's kinda grimy and it'd be cool if they could replace the ceiling tiles in booth two, but all of the staff have been nice!

UPDATE: They have upgraded the tanning section so a lot fresher and includes a hybrid booth which is great. I used booth 5 when the hybrid was busy and unfortunately it is still a very cramped space. Will wait for the hybrid.

Also recently finding some of the staff to be more focused on chatting/flirting then attending to customers which is aggravating.

When it comes to gyms Planet Fitness is by far my favorite. Sure there are tons of places just like it but this gym in particular I really appreciate. This was one of the few places that people could go during a lot of Covid. The workers would and still do spend a crazy amount of time making sure all of the equipment is clean and I don’t know the person or people who fix stuff but I personally have never seen a piece of equipment unavailable due to needing repairs for any more than just a few days. The recent improvements in my opinion really opened up the place. Overall I’d give them a 5/5 because they do a lot more than most gyms.

My one complaint is that in the “30 Minute Workout” section, people routinely hog one piece of equipment, which prevents others from following the prescribed circuit, which is what this area is supposed to be for. And the Planet Fitness staff does not monitor that, in spite of what the posted sign says.

It was a average gym. I also have used the YMCA but Planet fitness was better for cost and use. The 1 star rating is because I canceled my membership and they kept charging me. Went in, talked to a person at the desk and signed for the cancelation. Noticed they were charging me still and they accused me of never canceling and they would not refund the charges. I did not go for a extended period of time due to covid, over a year. I was only asking for a refund for the period of when I actually went in and canceled which was 3 months. I was told due to COVID there computers were not tracking accurately and could not refund me. Absolutely a discracful service considering the monetary amount. I understand my lack of canceling beforehand I am out of the money for the extended.period of time. But lack of.trainong for your staff with a egregious excuse, no read n for that. I would rather pay extra for the YMCA or a other gym in the area of that is the customer service.

This gym is very clean and the staff are pleasant... im giving two stars to warm people not to buy products from them. I purchased a tracking lotion that is $64 dollars at most through the website and also at other stores. This place charged me $138 for the same lotion. That is a double mark up and is robbing people blind.
