Ist time going into a gym. Great experience. Got a free day pass because i did not realize you can't use cash. Walked around reading machines, and a woman said i looked lost. I told her it was my first time there, and suggested she should be my gym guide!!!! It made her laugh, and she took it seriously, so much so when she saw me on a cycle, she said, you have to go 30 minutes at least!!!! I did 2 miles at 18mph on resistance 4

What’s the point of having the Rockbot App if the employees are just going to down vote all your songs you pick because they don’t like the genre of your music. Employees shouldn’t be allowed to have an account for this, they are level 50+ and have power over what gets played. I don’t mind if it’s another paying member but employees are meant to help the guest and maintain the building. I have many more complaints about this facility which I don’t voice but this really annoys me.

Lee Lee needs some updated customer service training… My mom (a black card member) went to the gym yesterday to workout and tan and got met with the worst experience that discouraged her from going to this gym anymore. Lee Lee accused her of something she didn’t do because she thought she looked like someone else and then refused to apologize. She was calling my mom crazy when my mom was simply agitated for being accused of something that wasn’t her fault. My mom got very stressed and then I came in to talk to Lee Lee and she refused to even admit she was wrong and instead continued with her disgusting attitude. My mom deserves a personal apology or Lee Lee should be fired.

they somehow charged my account an un authorized amount when I questioned them, they told me that there was an issue with billing that I was aware of which I fixed , but I was an issue on their end and They refused to fix it. signed up. puttin a routing number twice got confirmation at worked. they proceeded to try to bill. apparently it didn't work. they would send me a text there was an issue I would go down to the quorum location they would tell me everything was fine this went on for 7 months to the tune of $70 or more. the club is telling me it's not their fault that I put something in wrong even though they can't tell me the routing number I put in. they told me to call ABC billing ABC billing is full of foreigners that I can barely understand but at the end of it tell me that there's nothing they could do the club is responsible for refunds they only do the billing... my bank says it should be ABC billing the location says it should be ABC billing ABC billing says it should be the location and I need to speak to a manager .there's never a manager on... I just spent 50 minutes trying to call corporate. they told me they will try to escalate it to the higher-ups and I should hear from them within 3 to 5 business days... this is after about 4 weeks worth of arguing.

I recently had the pleasure of working out at Planet Fitness in Selden, and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, who made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed for a great workout.

The gym itself is spotless — I was genuinely impressed by how well-maintained and clean everything is, from the workout areas to the locker rooms. The team here clearly takes great pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment for members, which made me feel completely at ease during my entire visit.

And I have to give a special shout-out to the General Manager, Alexa. She is amazing! Her energy and passion for the gym are contagious, and she genuinely cares about the well-being of every member. Alexa was not only super helpful but also made sure to take the time to chat with me, offering tips and recommendations for a better fitness experience. It's rare to find someone who genuinely loves what they do and makes you feel that excitement, but Alexa definitely does!

If you're looking for a top-notch gym with amazing staff, a spotless environment, and a GM who truly cares, Planet Fitness in Selden is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough — my experience was absolutely stellar!

I came into the gym to ask about memberships. I spoke to one person at the desk who was very clueless when I spoke to him, and then had another girl walk over and she herself was a little bit more clueless that needs to be addressed when you have a Business like You’re running you need to have professional staff, knowing what they’re doing in any event I wanted to get a membership I had asked to speak to the manager. She was in a meeting. I said please have her get back to me. They said we’ll take your number and as soon as she gets out of the meeting will have her call you that never happens. I called back and they said they left her the message And that would have her call me. I still have not heard back. I’m just guessing that’s not a place where I’m gonna join and work out there in any event this is a big corporation that you run and it’s unacceptable that a person coming in to join your gym is not greeted correctly. and your staff are very clueless and have no knowledge about the different packages that you have you need to train them to know these questions so when someone comes in, they don’t have to wait for someone to get back to them . Calls are not returned and you’re losing money by that Just really unacceptable and I’m very unhappy. The sad thing is I’m coming from a gym very expensive and very large and the staff is knowledgeable. I am moving and I am downsizing in my home and downsizing in the gym aspect, but I don’t think I will be joining your gym not after what I went through and I still didn’t get a membership or any package deals. I think the thing to do is just call corporate and ask what the reason is behind the issue that I’m having

Went in to try the gym out and see if I wanted to sign up. The guy at the desk was very nice but the assistant manager wasn't up to date on his corporate policies. He denied my service dog when asked if they allowed them and refused to budge even when presented with corporate statement saying that Service dogs are allowed on premises. Mind you my service dog wasn't even with me because I wanted to check first. He said he hadn't worked with service dogs during his career and didn't want me to be bothered by other people saying that my dog wasn't allowed. That isn't up for him to decide or deal with. My service dog is very well trained and a service dog for a reason.
Very disappointed and I will be reaching out to corporate about this matter.

Great equipment, there are two of some machines so you don't always have to wait, plenty of benches and dumbbells, barbells, etc, all with safety features. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Both the members and staff keep the gym very clean. Convenient location. The app also has very useful features, for example, you can see how crowded the gym is at any given time. I would highly recommend Planet Fitness for anyone who wants to improve their health and fitness, even if they aren't necessarily interested in gaining muscle. There is something at Planet Fitness for everyone, including a large variety of cardio equipment. The only thing you won't find there is judgement from the staff and fellow members! On a personal note, I'm nearing 60 years old, I've only been working out for 13 weeks, and I have lost 5 inches off my stomach and gained 2+ inches on every muscle.
