We used Positions Dance Studio for a choreographed first dance at our wedding. Kaya, the instructor, was PHENOMENAL. She is so fun and really helps you understand the building blocks of your dance. It felt more like hanging out with a friend. My husband and I are not super great on our feet, but she helped us look amazing on the big day. (Plus a spin was a big hit with the guests) Highly recommend the package, as periodic date nights were a great relief from all the stress of wedding planning.

Attended “Back to the Basics” adult ballet class with Ms. Meredith and it was lovely! All the staff and other students were beyond kind and welcoming. Any adults that are looking for dance classes to gain confidence, stay in shape and learn a new hobby should try this studio!

I've been going to adult tap for over 3 years and love it!! Being that I'm over 50, this is a great fitness class. Carly is very patient and a great instructor..studio staff and owner are wonderful !! Highly recommend .

This is a wonderful dance studio. It is impeccably clean and every teacher and staff member I’ve encountered over my years at Positions has been even nicer than the last. I started out taking adult classes for a few years and when I had a child of my own there was no doubt that I wanted to bring her to positions right away. We LOVED the mommy and me classes and now she is enrolled in the petite ballerina. She is so excited to go to dance every week and I can’t wait for her first recital. I highly recommend this dance studio to everyone.

On our third year at Positions Dance Studio and couldn't be happier. We are treated like family. The studio has 3 difference rooms plus a cute shop with all the dance shoes & clothes you could need. There are so many different classes for all interests and levels. I highly recommend.

My daughter and I are signed up for the Mommy and Me classes. She was 16months old when we started and the structure of the class is so consistent that my daughter is able to follow along to the song movement. It’s great to be a part of a weekly group and the instructor is so graceful with the little ones!

I take the Adult "Back to Basics" Ballet class with Ms. Meredith and she is fantastic!! I enjoy slowing things down to improve my technique and make corrections. She is light-hearted so I feel comfortable in her class and get the most out of it that way. I've seen her with the young ones too and she's truly magical! You can tell she puts so much love and care in her work, really appreciate her! ❤

So disgusted and upset. I put my daughter into her first ballet class over the summer and she had instructor Meredith with ONLY 2 children in the class (that’s including mine)! She totally neglected to teach or show my daughter any positions, moves, curtsy, etc.
AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGEMENT, only cause my daughter loves to dance, I yet signed her up again at this studio. We have ballet/tap with Ms Meredith again. I watch the first lesson , stayed quiet but after the second lesson and seeing that the instructor was basically picking and choosing who she was going to teach I had to say something. I politely asked Ms Meredith why she hadn’t helped my daughter grab her shoes at the end of class and she says “ simple directions I gave that she’s supposed to follow” and turns her back on me (keep in mind she helped every other 3 year old in there)
Spoke with the owner FOUR days after leaving a message for her and she basically blamed me for not addressing my concerns in the beginning.
Looking for somewhere safe and pleasant and beautiful to put your child in?! This isn’t the place. Overpriced and your child will be neglected.
If I wanted my daughter to do freestyle/hip hop I’d do it at home. Save yourself the money or find somewhere better!

Just finished another amazing year with Positions. My daughter has been going since she was 18 months in dance with me classes and she’s now 5. Everyone there is exceptional from the front desk to the teachers. Highly recommend checking them out!

We worked with Kaya on our wedding dance… she was amazing. My husband and I are not good dancers but we looked like pros out there! We did the wedding dance package with Positions and 4 sessions was more than enough. I wish I could post the videos but pics will have to do!

We used Positions Dance Studio to learn a dance for our first dance at our wedding. We went just 6 days before our wedding (!) hoping we can learn a few things and feel confident dancing in front of 300+ people. We worked with Kaya and she couldn’t have been more amazing with us. Immediately making us feel comfortable and coming up with a routine that we were able to practice a few times, all in just an hour. Thank you Kaya and Positions! The dance was great!!

This dance studio is more than a place to send your kids to take some dance classes. This studio has become an intricate part of mine and my daughter’s life. My daughter has made lifelong friends, as have I. I have throughly enjoyed watching my daughter thrive at this studio and grow exponentially as a dancer. (THIS IS A FAKE NAME BY THE WAY) I love dancing here! I have danced here since I was 4! And now I am a few years older! Miss Kelly is the Nicest and Coolest person EVER, If anyone is thinking of signing up them or their child up for dance this would be the perfect place! You and you child can socialize and make new friends! Even if you are an adult! It is so amazing dancing here! The classes are great, the teacher are even better!

My daughter has danced at this studio for years and absolutely loves it. Miss Kelly and her staff are wonderful instructors and role models for all students. Last year this time the studio presented The Nutcracker at the Argyle Theatre in Babylon Village. It was an excellent production.

Has everything you can want in a dance studio. My daughter has gone for years now, and has many different classes to choose from. The teachers and staff are terrific, courteous, and helpful. The recitals at years end get better each time. I highly recommend it.
