I travel a lot and as a result have used many personal trainers, but Kenny is in a different league.
He starts off with an overall assessment about goals and lifestyle. He then puts you on a structured program with a tangible plan in place. We follow this plan and he tracks and measures my progress in that time frame.
It gives me a good opportunity to see how I’m progressing.
I’ve had a couple of ski injuries (ACL) over the years, so thankfully Kenny has lots of experience with people injured over time. The pain gets better, and after working with Kenny for a while, I am stronger, back on the tennis court, and pain free! My knees feel great. I started training with Kenny six months ago, and my body has transformed. Before I started working out with him, I had never used a personal trainer. I didn’t even know how to find one. After quite a bit of Googling, I reached out to Kenny because he had great online reviews.

When we first started training together, I was already in good shape because I was regularly working out at Barry Bootcamp’s and running outside, but I wanted to be more intentional in building my glutes and my lower body.

Kenny helped me understand that my old workout routine was too cardio-intensive for my glute goals, and I needed to lift heavier, run less, and eat more. I especially needed to eat more protein. I was nervous to change my routine and eat more calories, but I trusted his advice and I’m glad I did! Now, I’m much stronger, and I’ve added muscle in all the right places, especially my glutes and quads.

I had never lifted in the gym on my own before working with Kenny, but he encouraged me to join a gym and helped me get into a solo lifting routine. I lift with him 2x per week and he programs independent lifting routines for me to follow on my own 2x per week. It’s the ideal setup. His encouragement and support helped me go from a total novice to a confident lifter in a short time.

Kenny’s magic is in his precise approach to designing my routines. He ties everything back to my fitness goals and measures my progress so we can track my gains. We even measure the circumference of my glutes every month.

Kenny is an exceptional trainer. I have worked with many trainers over the years as an athlete and also someone who has had to work through a variety of injuries, and Kenny has had the biggest positive impact on me of the bunch. I am a highly competitive tennis player who quit for almost 15 years and Kenny has helped me get back on track. I feel like I am now better than I have ever been which I never thought was possible. Kenny is a world class trainer. I’ve been training with Kenny for about 5 months now. At the beginning, I was quite out of shape, could barely get through the initial consultation and was suffering from a few long-term injuries I had never properly addressed. Fast forward 5 months, I’ve lost 30 lbs and I’m in better shape than I have been in years, and my injuries have largely healed. His programs are very tailored to the individual, and he not only helps you during your sessions with him, but will build a plan for training/nutrition outside of your training sessions (as much or as little as you’d like). Kenny is not also the type of trainer who pushes you to into the red zone for the sake of a good workout - his workouts have purpose, some harder than others, but over time the growth is enormous.

Kenny also meticulously tracks every rep and every workout - so overtime you can see the growth and that the plan is actually working. He’s a great guy and the consummate professional - he’s always on time and ready to go and hasn’t missed one workout since I’ve started with him.

I can’t recommend Kenny enough - I consider my sessions with him to be invaluable.

Highly recommend! Currently between SF and NY, I trained with Rondel over the course of a 4 week extended stay. My goal for the month was to continue my regular strength training (over 2 years now) and Rondel was able to seamlessly complement what I've been doing with my trainer in SF. He was able to quickly assess my skill/strength level and developed a comprehensive program for me over 4 weeks; I found our sessions to be "the right amount of challenge" (taxing by the end of each set but never overwhelming or injury-inducing) and feel like I learned some new skills (breath work, cardio blast to finish each session) that I can incorporate going forward. I saw my SF trainer recently, and she said she can definitely tell that I trained well over the break. The option to buy sessions ad hoc (vs. membership gym fee + private training) is also so convenient. Kenny (owner of Precision Training) is very responsive, and paired me with a trainer who was very aligned with my goals.

10/10 experience working with Kenny, he is an incredible personal trainer! I started working with him after slacking on exercise during the pandemic, and wanted to improve my strength/muscle tone. I’ve worked with trainers in the past, but Kenny’s training program is superior, and I’m so happy with the results! He knows when to challenge you, but is also very accommodating when needed, and adapts his programs if you have an injury or aren’t feeling 100% on a certain day. He also crafts an at home program for you that compliments the in-gym program, so you’re guided on days not in a session together. I've spent most of my life exercising, picking up trainers and cycling through fad diets my entire life. In June, I was really tired of beating myself up and going through the "I FEEL horrible, I'm always tired, so I'll eat everything and then need to go to an Orange Theory workout the next day because I ate so much the day before" thought cycle. It was getting exhausting, I was always tired/fatigued, and I kind of hated myself, so I went in search of a personal trainer. I knew that my negative cycle thinking wasn't healthy, and I was needed someone who had a good background in nutrition to help me rethink my relationship with food and exercise.

I reached out to Kenny after searching through a few trainers. Some trainers weren't very responsive, while others charge monthly rates for "unlimited access," and some places told me they didn't track your progress through numbers, but through photos. Being analytical myself, I needed the numbers. I wanted the guardrails. Ken's website spoke to all of that, so I booked a consult.

My first meeting with Kenny immediately gave me confidence. We spent an hour talking through my history with diet and exercise, what my goals were, and then he did a movement test with me, which no other trainer has ever done. This showed me he was interested in my safety, and within a day, he built me a program. He gave me caloric and protein numbers to hit, and he reviews it every time we meet, which again, speaks to accountability. We started with 3 days a week of strength training, 2 of which were with him and 1 on my own. Having my personalized program on a google spreadsheet was EVERYTHING, because that enabled me to walk into any gym, crank out a thoughtfully crafted workout, and continue to progress towards my goal, whether he was physically there or not. This is the biggest difference between Kenny and the last 4-5 trainers I've had: a personally tailored PROGRAM, made for you to get the RESULTS you asked for.

Kenny's training method is amazing because he focuses on all the important things: how you FEEL, how you feel about the way your body is changing, how much strength you're gaining, etc. He makes me feel like I can be completely honest with him in both the fitness portion and the nutrition portion. Early on, I told him I hated the scale, so for the last 2-3 months, he has weighed me in and kept track of my results silently. This has been a JOY, because it helps me focus on the important things without pysching myself out about my weight. In 2.5 months, he told me I'm down ~6 pounds and I FEEL way more confident and energetic than I felt after 5 months with Orange Theory (a time in which I actually gained ~5-10 pounds, while working out 4-5 days a week, but eating everything).

At the end of the day, Kenny was exactly who I needed in my life to help me unlearn all the bad diet information I've internalized. I kept thinking that if i didn't start today, when I look back in 3 months, I would have wished I did. I WAS RIGHT, and I'm SO GLAD I started with Kenny when I did. While I'm still a work in progress, I am more aware my daily caloric/protein needs. I am less concerned with having to workout every day to counter balance my bad nutrution habits. I am stronger, I FEEL so much better, and I'm way happier because I'm not mentally beating myself up, so BIG thanks to the Ken Method!

Been working with Kenny for 3+ years after being encouraged to do so by one of my daughters who also works out with Kenny. I am a somewhat sedentary somewhat out of shape 67 year old who has benefitted from working with Kenny who has been flexible in developing a program that works for me and who makes it comfortable and interesting enough for me to meet with him at least once a week( now remotely since pandemic). Lost 20 pounds in 2021 to get to a more respectable 185lbs. Hoping to drop another ten this year. Kenny is nice guy and easy to engage with. Highly recommend whether you are looking for a tough workout or something less rigorous( like my routine).

I’ve been working out with Kenny for 6 months. He’s professional and a great listener. I ask tons of questions and he always reply with patience. He pays lots attention to my form ensuring it’s correct. Make sure you know what you want to achieve, Kenny will make customized plan and help you keep track of each workout session. I started working with Kenny ~3 months ago, trying to get back into shape after COVID. Kenny is a great trainer who is knowledgeable, a true professional, and cares about his clients and helping them progress towards their goals. Highly recommended personal trainer for all fitness levels.

Kenny took the time to (1) tailor a workout program based on my goals and existing injuries, (2) add a nutrition program and give me ongoing guidance, (3) advise on supplements, and (4) add a resistance band program for when I’m traveling and don’t have access to a gym.

Kenny eased me into a program given my inactivity during COVID – but in a short amount of time I was seeing clear progress, just generally feeling better, and looking forward to the workouts. He has helped me work around two injuries – both strengthening and protecting them, while also helping me hit new personal bests.

I've been working out with Kenny for about 4 months and have been pretty satisfied so far.

He specified a nutrition plan and tailors the workouts to what I'm aiming for. He also provided workouts to do at home for me, for the days I'm not at the gym. He also tracks all my workouts in a spreadsheet, so I can tell where I am pretty quickly and also see my progress.

Overall, I think it's been pretty good and intend to keep going.

I’ve been working with Kenny virtually since April. I hadn’t been going to the gym in a little over two years so I was a little weary to jump into private sessions (especially virtually) but needed to work off some thanks to the pandemic. That concern quickly subsided after Kenny walked me through his approach and made me feel at ease. His education in physical fitness and his knowledge regarding safe workouts that don’t negatively impact some precious knee injuries have definitely helped to strengthen some trouble areas and get me back into shape. I have been training with Kenny for 10 weeks now and started 4 weeks prior to gym closures and stay at home orders going into place. I was concerned about not being able to keep up with a routine I had just started with limited equipment available to me at home and not being able to meet for regular sessions. Kenny was able to reconstruct and customize all of my workouts while continuing virtual sessions. It has been extremely productive and engaging, especially while stuck at home all day like most others are. Kenny has been able to maintain the same level of intensity for my workouts, despite the lack of gym or in person training. Prior to this, I traveled frequently for work and Kenny acknowledged the limitations I had with scheduling and accessibility to consistent gym equipment outside of our sessions. Kenny is excellent about making the workouts and regimens fit the person and he genuinely cares about helping you meet your goals. It has been great working with someone dedicated to his clients and I look forward to getting back to in person sessions in the future.

Kenny Guzman can only be described as one thing, committed to his craft. I was never a fan of truly working out, and at some points you can say I’m still not, but I do like the results. I started with Kenny in the beginning of the summer knowing that I needed to change my body for my health. I was gaining weight which was making life difficult as my clothes started to get tighter, and I felt sluggish. Kenny took his time with me 3-4 times a week and allowed me to go at my own pace with the occasional increase in intensity so I actually lost weight. What I liked about getting trained with Kenny is that he put my health into perspective. He allowed me to see how important it is to actually work the full body out instead of only doing push-ups and what kind of foods I should be eating to maximize my weight loss. Every day with Kenny wasn’t a waste because of the weight loss I’ve experienced now. What I know is that if you want to work, then Kenny will study your body so that he can get you where you want to be. He’s encouraging and doesn’t allow the pain of working out to hold me back as he’s very engaging through the process. I’ve been with him for about 8 months and I’m glad that I made not only the choice to train with Kenny, but I made the choice to put my health first. Kenny is worth the time and money because I know that when you decide to choose him, he won’t make you regret it. He truly cares about me and his other clients. This isn’t something he woke up out of bed and decided to do, this is his life. The cardio and muscular work with a hint of boxing really allowed my body to be worked out in many ways in which I needed. There’s still more work to be done, but I know Kenny will be right there with me through the journey.

I started training with Kenny about 3 years ago, and have been been very happy with the results! Kenny is fantastic, and provides the right mix of challenging workouts (he knows how to get you to push your limits) as well as the encouragement to get through them. Particularly love the boxing sessions. Kenny also gives me workouts to use at my home gym, which has been helpful in reinforcing the training sessions.

Updating to add that my positive review is only underscored by Kenny's treatment of a recent injury. He has been great about adapting my program (safely and efficiently!), making sure to check in away from the gym, and encouraging me to keep at it.
