The gym equipment is fine, cleanliness good. However this is the only gym I've ever been to that allows outside personal trainers to bring a class in every single day, and literally a whole area of the gym is taken for over an hour. I started this gym 2 weeks ago and have been so disappointed that a whole area of the gym is unavailable due to trainers bringing their group of more than 15 people and take up a whole area for over an hour. This morning the group took up the Smith machine, both leg presses, and the entire area nearby, from the time I arrived at 5am, to the time I left at 6:15 am . Wish I knew this was there practice before joining

I've been a member at blink since 2021. I've met such amazing people since I joined, but as time went on things started to change drastically. First it was the change of management, then the change of staff that was super welcoming, and then the facility itself got "renovated" after that It went completely downhill. I barely go anymore because the machines and all the other equipment are garbage, It's always crowded and alot of the new staff memebers are not as nice as the older ones I started my journey with. The new standards and morals of the new management are atrocious to say the least, and watching such a welcoming place become run by coorporate puppets is so disheartening. They terminated so many people who if anything made this place what it was, now it's just a regular commercial gym with people running around without a clue in the world. I hate this location and hope to never step foot here again, unless it is to cancel my membership if i could I'd give this place 0 stars... update: they charged me 81.99 i will be coming to dispute this charge ridiculous

Update 10/27/25
This is now owned by a European Gym Co. My elderly Dad was interested in joining & wanted to check out the aerobic equipment (treadmills), however they don't do tours. Yeah you got that right, a gym that doesn't allow you to inspect it before you buy.
I can see this business surviving a very looong time, with Synergy, Planet Fitness & other competition nearby, with better customer service...hahaha.
Folks, look elsewhere. If you have ever been to Europe, you know that Europeans don't understand American Customer Service. I would give it Zero Stars, but Google forces you to put 1-star.
Update 5/11/22 Still great and well maintained gym. Watch out for the GenZ & Millenials hogging equipment while they pose for SocialMedia. C'mon folks, put the phones away and don't be an equipment hoggg!!!
Good gym & great value. It has what I am looking for, weights & cardio machines. I don't need classes and this gym does not offer those. They do have personal fitness trainers if you need that. Broken and worn equipment are quickly fixed. They have a lot of cleaning wipes for you to clean down the equipment before & after use. Like most gyms, avoid peak morning, midday and evening hours and you won't have to wait for equipment. They do have equipment hogs that will spend 15 Mins on one equipment. I despise those people. Of course you have the noise makers and grunters who are most likely suffering from a spike in Roid-Rage and trying to flex to the impressionable and enhanced teen gurls & 20 Somethings present. Then of course we have the posers and those looking for someone to buy them their next meal, a luxury vacation to The Maldives or Barbados. A trip to the gym is a microcosm of an episode of National Geographic, Hunger/Squid Games, Desperate Housewives, Nightmare Kitchen and Love Island. The place and bathroom are meticulously kept clean at all times. Definitely a recommended!

There are almost always no availability of needed machines. There is 1 Roman chair that is occupied 98% of the time. The for work area is a small hard floor area that is always crowded. People tend to spend long periods of time on Machines or superset and tie up 2 machines at a time. Some do not want you to work in. This is not my favorite gym.

Tonight I went to Blink and used my key fob to check in. I was stopped and refused admission and told that the only way to gain entry is via the new app. I told the person at the front desk that I had been at the gym a few days ago and was told that I could continue to use my fob under the new ownership. I also told her that I don't bring my phone to the gym. I asked if I could just get a new fob. I was told that this was not an option and that they couldn't even look up my membership. After a back and forth I asked to speak with a manager and was told "she's not here". After going home and cancelling my membership I viewed my online "member profile" that shows that I was successfully checked in at the gym tonight in spite of being refused entry and turned away. For the past 3 years I have braved the crowds waiting for dumbbells, benches, and machines. I have put up with trash - water bottles, wipes, whatever - on the gym floor and equipment. I have wasted my workout time moving plates and searching for dumbbells since re-racking weights is not a thing at this gym. I have watched week after week as broken equipment is not repaired. This evening's experience was the tipping point from "cheap and convenient" to not worth it.
Editing in response to the "owner" response to this review: I have emailed 3 times. I tried contacting someone via the Blink page. No one has bothered to respond to me to try to either discuss my feedback or to "make things right". So the response here is nothing more than performative.

The manager, Dolce who was the greeter was dismissive and unprofessional as she saw that I was next in line but told me to go to the back of the line that was forming. She then was called to assist with modifications of my new membership to allow for a guest but she never came to assist.
I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Blink prior to this interaction and what is more disappointing is that she is leadership and she be an example of positive attitude service.

My experience with the personal trainer Leslie has been great. She is knowledgeable and I feel I will really be able to increase my fitness in the coming months. She gets 5 stars.
Now for corporate and management at the Baldwin LI location, they get minus stars.
I have sent four emails, spoke with the manager on Monday, and spoke to people at the front desk on 6/23 and 6/24.
The problem is that I started personal training on 6/22/25. I finished my 8 sessions on 6/20/25. I am a morning person, so I purchased another 8 sessions for $308.00 so I could get early timeslots. In doing this I created another account. I did not know that the 6/23 account would automatically renew on 7/23. This was my mistake. The manager said Monday that she could have canceled the 7/20 account but it was too late. However, I was there 6/23 and 6/24. Both times I was told the manager would get back to me. So on Monday, the manager threatened me that I would not be able to finish my 2 sessions (already paid for), if I did not pay the 6/23 bill for 308.00. I told her I already paid $308.00 on 7/20 but she said it did not make a difference. My budget does not allow me to have two payments of 308.00 per month. She didn’t care. I was about to go home and she said if I agreed to pay the $308.00 she would let me have my personal training which I paid for. Of course I had no intention of paying the $308.00 which I explained to her but she wasn’t listening. I wanted them to just cancel the 6/23 session and let me go with the 7/20 which I paid for. No responses. They keep trying to charge my card. Smh
Today is Wednesday, August 6th, no one has gotten back to me regarding my emails and letters. However, the dummies keep trying to charge my credit card which will never work. I will now send all of my correspondence to the Better Business Bureau. You would think since they have my money and are providing no services that I would not be harassed. I called Blink to pay my $30.00 fee on 8/1/25 and the rep told me that my membership had been cancelled.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade and i saw another comment which i will copy and paste because it’s exactly what i thought also. “The lady manager comes off as rude and unapproachable, and there’s been a noticeable drop in how the gym is run.” Definitely accurate yall need the guy back from before he was much nicer. Lady at the front does too much many times. I suspect they’ll get rid of her eventually because there’s been too many similar complaints. This isn’t just my experience, it’s a trend.

I have never experienced such high-quality customer service as I did with Christian and Yhoal. They are both incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. They answered each question I had. Have been going here on and off for a few years. The last year they have started leaving more and more machines out of order. On top of this it is a small gym and this place has lots of clicks who tend to take up multiple machines at once without consideration for other members. They don’t exactly rush their time on these machines either so you are constantly finding yourself looking for something to do while 1 person takes up 2 machines. I’ll most likely be changing gyms due to this. For such a small gym it really was great for a time, but between people hogging multiple machines at once and multiple machines being left out of service for prolonged periods of time I just don’t have it in me to keep going to this gym. It’s a shame because the people who go there and staff are very friendly.

I have been going to Blink now for several months and I'm very happy. I decided to use a trainer to help me get into shape for a specific event.
I met Leslie and she is just what I needed!!!!
She's a smart and dedicated trainer. She is very specific about maintaining correct posture at all times and taking time to recover from each workout.
I feel she really cares about fitness and about me as a client. She doesn't rush through to get the session over with. I am so happy I found her.

The gym has potential, but it’s been going downhill. The machines are often broken and out of service, and even the ones that work aren’t always useful or in good shape. There’s a serious lack of quality equipment, and nothing seems to get fixed in a timely manner. On top of that, the music is just not great and more annoying than motivating, it’s like a retail store playlist.
The afternoon staff is really friendly and helpful and do what they can, but recent management changes have really hurt the overall vibe. The lady manager comes off as rude and unapproachable, and there’s been a noticeable drop in how the gym is run. With inconsistent leadership, bad music, and equipment issues, the experience has become hit or miss.

The best part about this gym is the front desk. Kyle and Yhoal are constantly going above and beyond to make the atmosphere feel welcome. Because of them, I am excited to be apart of the Blink community. NOW, that that's out the way. Let's talk about these MACHINES. They are constantly BROKEN. I MEAN THOSE PURPLE STICKERS DOMINATE THE AREA. There is not one time I come and I am not BLINDED by the purple sticker that states, "This machine is out of order." I feel defeated. Weights are all over the place the people at this particular gym do not pack back their weights . They will wipe the bench and leave the wipes on the floor. I went to other blinks and it was clean. Mostly is because of the kind of people training there,not like Baldwin blink, that's a mess.

This used to be one of my favorite blink locations. But now the best thing about this gym is that it’s 24hrs on the week days. The older hammer strength machines and life fitness benches are much more preferable. The new benches are not very height inclusive, the positioning is much less than ideal, and the quality/sturdiness of the new machines leaves much to be desired.
Quite disappointed in the changes that have been made here and will be switching.

This Blink Location has DEFINITELY done their homework on showing members appreciation and making them feel welcomed and valued as they leave. They moved around some of the equipment and added some new machines to update the site! I WALKED IN ONE DAY AND THEY HAD A LIVE DJ PLAYING MUSIC WHICH HAVE EVERY BODY AN EXTRA PUMP. Atmosphere is friendly, clean and comfortable.

It’s a shame what has happened to this gym. I was a member for many years and this gym is close to home. The new Matrix equipment is cheap junk. You can’t load any of the machines without an unstable feel and wobbling cables. It’s not smooth like the Lifetime equipment. All the weight lifter members loved the Hammerstrength converging chest press and the seated chest support row. Both gone and no real replacements. There were doubles of a few machines that now only have one single. Staff does nothing to enforce members racking weights so there’s constantly misplaced plates, dumbbells etc.
Blink used to be an average cheap gym with solid equipment for beginner-experienced lifters and gym goers alike. Now it’s a cheap gym with bad equipment for beginner weight lifters.

They have recently replaced all and I mean ALL their machines and that's a huge plus!
They could add a couple of HAMMER Strength for Chest, Fly machine and another Hack Squat for sure, that would make it perfect.
The 24/5 schedule is great, I actually use it, I regularly get to the gym at 3 am and it's a pleasure having most of the place for just a few goers, zero waiting time.
But it would be great for many of us if they open earlier on Saturdays and Sundays for those of us that work weekends and would like to sneak a workout in. 7 am is just too late and that's a definitely a subject of contention amongst us.
I give the gym a solid 4 rating for now, definitely worth the membership. If the schedule changes and they add some or all the machines I will revisit and rate it a 5.

UPDATED 4/4/25: I am changing my review from two stars to one. Even more of the staff, including my trainer have left. I will be leaving this gym as well.
I have been a member of this gym since 2017 and training regularly there since 2019. Up until last year I would have rated this gym 4.5 stars with the highlights being a friendly and helpful staff as well as an abundance of equipment. The only reason I would not have given it 5 stars is the lack of group classes.
Since the beginning of this year, however, I struggle to even give it 2 stars. Most of the staff that was extremely welcoming is no longer there, either fired or forced out since new management came in. The front desk staff in particular used to put me in a good mood with their friendly personalities, but now there are only a couple of workers I see in the morning and they barely even say hello. If I had not been coming here regularly I would not feel welcomed.
The biggest negative though has to be the change in equipment. You would think that bringing in brand new equipment would be a positive, but it has been far from that. The only good change is the new cardio equipment since all the machines work smoothly. They have removed a bunch of equipment that worked, so now there are fewer machines for the same number of people. This has been a big challenge in particular on back day since some of the cable set ups are no longer there. The worst change is the new benches. As someone who is 5'6", I struggle with the new benches because they are too high. I cannot firmly plant my feet when trying to do chest presses, and I cannot put the dumbbells down on the floor without either dropping them or standing up and squatting. I used to look forward to working out at the gym, but I have begun to dread it.
If not for my personal trainer Rex still being there I would have left for another gym by now. The other staff members who I want to highlight are personal trainers Andrew and Kenny as well as the Mood Lifter Hamza. They are doing their best to keep the gym a positive place for people who want to improve their bodies. These individuals are the reason I still give this gym 2 stars; it's a shame they can't cover for the rest of the mismanagement.

I go mostly for cardio. I was working with an EXCELLENT trainer, Andrew Leazar. I was about to schedule four April sessions with him and he text me to say he put in his two weeks and Blink terminated him, so he could not schedule me. Really? Is that how corporations operate? Retaliate against a resignation? Blink is near to my house, so I go there, but man….the new machines get on my last nerve. There are fewer of the ones I like. The treadmills cut out after 1/2 hour. I’m generally annoyed because Andrew gave Blink the courtesy of two weeks notice, and Blink acted like a spoilt child.

Tried this location out recently. I needed to expand my membership to get the higher level so I could workout at any Blink location. The manager took care of everything quickly and efficiently. I see a lot of people complaining about the management here. While I did notice that a lot of the weights weren't being properly re-racked, I don't necessarily put all the blame on the staff. At a certain point I think it's the customers' fault for not taking even the slightest bit of effort to put your weights back where you got them. Other than that, I think this gym is just fine. The staff on duty were very friendly and knowledgeable

I've been going to this gym for years and have always enjoyed my experience here. However, the new equipment is not inclusive. It sucks that all the new benches and machines are made for tall people. I can't use a bench without having to put a plate under my feet. I've spoken to other women who also felt the same. Especially because we are the main people who use the benches for things like hip thrust. We can't even do that anymore because the height of the bench is so off.

ROBBERY IN THE LOCKER ROOM !!!!!!!! Absolutely discussed with this place, I have been a member for years and never have I experienced theft. Today I returned to the locker room only to find my lock had been completely removed and money was taken from my wallet ($200). Having a locked locker gives a member peace of mind while they workout. NOT ANYMORE !!!! This gym now has locker thieves that are going as far as to either pick or cut locks. I’m always certain to give my lock an extra tug or two before walking away to ensure it’s completely locked. So, it’s obvious the lock was cut or picked. Thieves should never have the time or opportunity to cut or pick locks, this clearly means the locker rooms are heavily unattended by the staff. As a paying member, I should never have to feel unsafe about locking my belongings in a locker and still having them stolen. there’s new management and new staff and it’s poorly ran now I recommend finding a new gym if you’re a current member and I recommend bypassing this gym all together if you’re thinking of joining. This gym has lost its zeal to provide customer satisfaction.

I don’t know who put new management in charge but they are doing an absolute dreadful job at providing a safe and enjoyable environment for myself and others. It is utterly disgusting to call myself a member of this gym with the way management has treated me and even their own staff. It is completely unsanitary, the ambiance is off, and cannot even be considered a gym. It is more like a recreational center for farm animals. I am never bringing anyone again and suggest people follow my league for their own sanities.

I’ve been going to this gym for a few years now, and it has changed drastically. The new management really has failed this gym. The place is unkept; the locker rooms are super dirty, the equipment is dirty, out of place, or out of order. The new manager was also very rude to my friend and I when I came in to show him the gym. When we walked away my friend asked me “is she always like that?” I just missed what it used to be when everyone was nicer…

So I’ve been going to this gym 5 years never complained loved every moment of it. Same friendly faces working have to give me a great workout trainers always willing to give a tip where needed. Then one day it was a sweep of new people who do work every hard but I will say the cleanliness gone down hill. No soap and wipes during peek times. Hair all over the guys locker room. I had to find out wht happened well a change in management decided to cut corners and make changes like most that wasn’t needed I hear she forced out all these hard working friendly people who worked very hard to give me a ideal experience and is also leading her new staff in wht I would say is a petty and useless direction idk who the calling the shots here but a intervention before me and many other loyal locals leave is needed

I used to love this environment the gym created by the old Manager, assistant manager, staff. They have people
called mood lifters who really made me love coming to this gym. When the new manager came, I became uncomfortable talking to the mood lifters as I felt her staring at us every time and occasionally roll her eyes. She still fails to introduce herself to me despite my consistent presence in the gym. I have learned many people quit under her management due to the unhealthy work place she created. I am considering moving gyms now.

I have gone to this gym for six years. I’ve gotten to know the staff while here and they were a big reason I kept my membership. I am also a member at other gyms but what I loved most about blink was the friendly environment facilitated by its workers. The new manager, Dulce, has taken away what many members loved about blink: the environment it created. Not only has the staff completely changed because of the unhealthy work environment she creates, but she also is clearly uninterested in building a positive environment for the members. As I stated previously, I have been a long term member. I have interacted with her and even went out my way to introduce myself upon her joining the team. Every time I enter the gym, she looks down and fails to acknowledge me or any members. This is a daily occurence. The only time she looks my direction is to roll her eyes at a staff member if they check in to see how I am doing which makes me uncomfortable along with her staff. I have seen her till her eyes at staff multiple times now. For the first time I am considering cancelling my membership despite being a member for so long. Dulce has failed this gym. She has failed it’s staff, it’s members, and it is a shame to watch the gym go downhill.

Great gym! I have Kenny as my personal trainer who is great! The staff is very friendly and the locker rooms are always clean. Cons: decent to small size gym . Broken machines here and there.
UPDATE: considering changing gyms. they have new management someone by the name of Dolce who is very rude. I noticed half the staff is gone so now the gym is dirty and there is a change is atmosphere. Not at all the friendly gym i used to walk into. Also, missing dumbbells ?? Why is it everytime I go to the gym, there are machines out of order. Everytime!

I picked this place because I liked the staff here… they just lost 7/15 people in less than a week because of new management. There are better gyms. When I signed up I picked a plan that said I could cancel anytime, but then they had to change me an extra month because we have to give “30/45 days notice.” Even for jobs two weeks is standard. This place sucks, but two staff members who helped me cancel were nice so shout out to them.

It's a very decent, unpretentious gym for the price. There are plenty of resistance and cardio machines. During peak times (6-8 pm) you may have to wait a bit for free weights but I've always caught people on their last or 2nd to last set. In total 4 squat racks, 2 Smith machines, 3 or 4 flat benches, one incline bench, one t-bar station. It's moderately annoying that there is one missing barbell, sometimes I have to steal the barbell from one of the benches. Dumbells in the 25 lb - 40lb range do tend to thin out during peak time so try to find alternative exercises, adjustable benches also may be hard to come by. All in all, I've never had a problem with the amount of people here and I regularly come during peak hours, everyone minds their own business. The locker room and bathroom are cleaned regularly, sometimes there is no soap or the hand dryer doesn't work. The warmup area is decently sized with a good number of foam rollers, mats, boxes, etc. The pricing is fair at $20 for a no contract option which is nice for flexibility.

absolutely incompetent. the children they have up front are not all trained on the policies so I have been given the runaround about my account for months. The manager Dolce is always to busy avoiding phone calls to ever return any of the messages left for her. if you need anything accomplished here, good luck. you will be given inaccurate information over and over and over again. Their online portal doesn't work so you cant cancel that way. you are literally dependent on the team who cant seem to get anything done. I MOVED 14 HOURS WAY AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP FOR MONTHS.

How can you focus on your work out when there’s no A.C. and the gym is stifling . After thirty mins I had to step out for a while or I’d pass out. This never happens at any other gym where there’s A.C. It was disruptive and uncomfortable . I usually go as a guest with my dad and was considering becoming a member since it’s closer to my house . After this experience I’m keeping PF.

I'm retired and have all the time in the world so I'm there early and never thought I would have to wait for a machine but here the younger crowd just can't seem to stay off their phones, sitting on the machine and do so between sets! They also only have 1 hamstring machine, another problem. I'm always waiting for it. I didn't see one sign that discourages this I'll behavior so I didn't renew my membership. Hopefully they'll get it together someday.

The two girls working the front desk today at 10am should totally be ashamed and disgusted by themselves a man almost died in there today he started drooling his pants were falling off a few members including myself went to the front to tell them (isn’t that what we’re supposed to do I guess not) the one girl said what are we suppose to do we’re females that sent me off and I told them to call a male staff or someone the man is going through something she stood there without a clue what to do while telling the other girl she don’t know why I have an attitude but mind you this is the same girl that when I walked in I said good morning while she stared dead in my face and said nothing everyone had to yell at them to call the police which they were so in shock ppl where asking them to work and not stand around like they always are. Of course the man started having a seizure at that point I was to upset and walked out mind you there laughing the whole time. NO thanks I will stay in my Valley Stream Blink they greet with warmth and are ALWAYS there to help!!!

Great price but I have many complaints. The price of memberships go up over time but the gym itself gets worse. Where is the money going to if not to upgrade the gym and equipment then? The “24 hours” isn’t even 24 hours every day of the week, only some days. Far too many cardio machines with barely any squat racks so if you plan to lift seriously, do it somewhere else. There are about 3 squat racks in the entire gym but 50 cardio machines. They also ran out of sanitary wipes for a couple weeks and we were left with using a community spray bottle to clean machines, pretty unacceptable to me. Lastly, the gym has gotten insanely busy recently to the point where you can’t even get a workout in. I only give it two stars rather than one because the gym used to be great but has gone downhill since.

I work out here daily. It's a great friendly, clean, respectful environment, and I love that it offers the open from 5am Mon-11pm Friday. Have a great selection of equipment to use. I can't wait till it's completely 24/7 again. I like it so much here that I have gotten 16 people to sign up and start coming herein the past 4 months. The busiest times are usually around 3:30pm-8pm, so if you'd like a quick workout, I'd suggest going outside of those times. All in all I give this blink 4.8/5 it's best I know in NY.

Blink is a great place to work out. I find the equipment to be well maintained and the gym clean. The members are courteous and very amenable to sharing equipment. I do wish they had an Incline bench press machine, but I make do with dumbbells and other machines.

These people are crooks I moved out of state and called to cancel my membership they said they would handle it. Then I realize for the pass two years they have still been charging me. I called and they claim I have to go in person to the gym which is now in a state I longer reside in to cancel. I would never recommend Blink Fitness they are just about getting your money. I was a member of Blink for a few years. I liked the proximity of the location. I was not going for a while since 2019 , and so I placed my account on hold. They automatically re-opened my account in 2022, and we’re receiving monthly payments. Several attempts to put account on hold by phone futile. You can’t get to speak with a person. I went to the gym and thought I had the issue resolved, but they continued to receive payments. My Credit Card company said I had to get them to stop the monthly payments. I finally got them to cancel my account, but tat was after payment a cancellation fee, and maybe close to a year of unjustified fees

They let mentally ill homeless people hang out in the locker room. On 11/27 there was one in the locker room harassing people and asking customers if they want to fight. The front desk refused to do anything saying it’s not against their policy. The reason they have 2 stars is because their Wi-Fi is pretty fast.
