This was the rudest customer experience I’ve had in a long time. I called to inquire about group classes that are listed on the website. When the person answered the phone there was no “hello” or acknowledgement. He sounded annoyed and irritated to be talking to me. I politely asked about the group classes and he cut me off and shortly said they do not offer classes and only do 1:1. Then he curtly stated “we’ve spoken before”, this was my first time calling. I suggested he should updated the website to remove the availability of classes, to which he barely listened and hung up as fast as he could. I have the financial means to pursue 1:1 training but there’s no way I’m taking my money to this establishment after how I was just spoken to.

Ahmed is the best trainer I’ve worked with! Attentive, knowledgeable, encouraging, challenging. I’ve worked out at Equinox, Barry’s Bootcamp, CorePower, SoulCycle and nothing compares to a workout with Ahmed, I leave feeling stronger and better than ever. I’ve lived on the upper east side all my life, in my early 20’s there was the usual big name NYSC, Equinox etc. I couldn’t warm up to either after giving them both a try. I needed personal attention and direction on my fitness journey since I had no idea what I was doing nor the drive.

A little less than a decade ago I pass PushLab Fitness…my sister and I watched a trainer with his client and his passion to train, his intensity and strength training exercises that I wanted nothing to do with at the time. (I was in my happy hour era don’t judge lol) I swore the idea off saying I don’t have what it takes and off we went.

Here I am… a decade later and eating my words, anxiously waiting for each physically challenging session. Every day is unexpected and almost entirely different from the last. Never boring and hitting every part of my body. My legs are in poor health and he’s extremely attentive to it. He pushes me to do better, work harder, stay focused. He truly cares about the direction of your fitness and all around health and never once makes you feel like you’re just an in and out client. He makes me want to do better and be better. Training has turned my life around.

If sweat had a best friend it'd be Pushlab-Fitness. Absolutely paining but such a great feeling after every class. Tough as nails but also very accommodating, a great style of teaching tbh. The trainers are very upbeat and nice and yet very very motivating. So many times I would've quit but the trainers push you just enough to make it. A wonderful experience, thank you! I lost 25 lbs!

PushLab is one of my favorite workout classes on the UES and always kicks my butt. It is a small, clean studio with great equipment and the instructors are always positive, helpful and motivating. I highly recommend you check this place out if you are looking for a great full body workout.

Ahmed is legimately one of the greatest trainers and instructors I'd ever had the grace of meeting. Not only is he knowledgable, but he is professional and he really know what he's doing. He's like a tachiquado champion or something. All of the trainers are amazing! Gabriel can work your abs and glutes like you've never had before and Jana can whoop your butt and give you the most intricate workout in 45 minutes. 10/10 tell you're friends! This is the greatest workout you can ever receive on the upper east side!

Originally found the gym through ClassPass... subsequently switched over to taking classes here regularly two (to hopefully three soon!) times a week. Consistently challenging amd awesome 45 minute workouts. You WILL get stronger! I've taken classes with Ahmed, Gabriel and Janna and they're all great.

Ahmed is the best trainer in NYC; i have worked with several coaches over the past 15 years and find his diverse routine and techniques as well as his motivational approach really make a difference. Strongly recommend this for all athletes, from the beginner to the advanced (collegiate athlete, ironman, etc.) for a way to cross train effectively.
