Our daughter has been working with Abby and Brittany throughout the summer. Her goal was to get back into shape and enjoy training again. More importantly, she wanted to build resiliency and confidence. This was a huge goal for us as her parents, too. From my first conversation with Brittany, I knew she got it. She listened to my concerns and asked insightful questions about our daughter. Then she and Abby got to work with her and after the first workout at PWR I saw a change in her self confidence and motivation. After a summer of training at PWR she is more fit, more confident and back in love with playing sports. We are so indebted to Abby and Brittany for helping our girl find her spark again and for being such amazing role models and guides in her journey. I CANNOT recommend PWR enough. It’s not just the training it’s the people doing the training that has been so priceless for us.

We’ve had such a positive experience with PWR! Our kids are preparing for basketball and softball, and the private youth training has been fantastic. The coaches design customized drills that really build skills while keeping things fun and engaging. Every session is filled with encouragement, energy, and plenty of smiles—our kids look forward to going each week. We absolutely love PWR! Coach Joe has been incredible for my 13-year-old daughter, Evelyn. He gives excellent feedback and knows how to get her energy and motivation up during training. Joe’s technical expertise helps her learn proper form and technique to build strength and agility safely. Evelyn has grown and improved A TON… including her focus and drive. Joe challenges her in all the right ways while being easy to talk to. My daughter is always excited to work with him and Britt.

If you’re looking for a new gym, you should check out PWR! I’ve been a member at this gym for 7 years (and counting!) and PWR has helped me keep my health and wellness a top priority. PWR offers a variety of fun, yet effective exercises that keep you coming back for more. The community and coaches at PWR are supportive and motivating.
PWR offers group training and personal training- as someone that has done both, you can’t go wrong either way! I highly recommend trying PWR out, you won’t be disappointed! 💪🏼

I have been a member of PWR spanning several years- I used to fall into this cycle of going for a while, then stopping, going back, stopping.. you get it.
Then last year I was in a funk, just feeling not good about myself and tried to imagine when I felt my best- when I felt confident, loved my body. And I thought of PWR (HIWB back in the day) and I called Relli. Who spent time with me talking out what it was I was looking for in a routine. And just like that- I was back like I never left. Sure, new location, some new trainers- but the energy and support never changed.

I am a die hard 5am gym girl. And yes. Waking up at 4am SUCKS, but I always feel SO good when I leave PWR. I feel strong and like I've accomplished so much first thing in the morning. I honestly notice I feel worse or more tired if I sleep in and don’t go to PWR.

If you’re looking for a gym that is honestly so much more than just a gym- it truly is a community. The trainers are so supportive and if something isn’t feeling right they either figure out why or give you a modification that works for you. I’ve made some great friends at PWR too.

All in all, it truly is my favorite place. A place I know I will always show up for myself and be cheered on when I feel like I can’t do it.

I started coming to PWR a year ago to take charge of my overall health. From the get go all of trainers are very attentive and informative. Throughout last year I had 3 surgeries and after I was cleared to go back to working out all of trainers made sure that they checked in with me EVEN when I was not regularly coming to classes. Once I came back to PWR they made sure that I knew what modifications were available. This place is very inclusive, everyone you see is very friendly.. trainers, other members ect. I just hit my 100 class mark and this place has truly helped my physical and mental health. Highly recommend this gym.

I cannot express how much I love this gym and community. Coming back to the gym after the pandemic and having my first child...I was in ROUGH shape. They took me as I was and as I am. The coaches are attentive, knowledgeable, and FUN! I don't feel judged by the other members which, let's be honest, can be a difficult thing to come by as a plus sized person. The new facility is amazing and the equipment is top tier.

I wish I had joined this gym years ago. Everything about this place is phenomenal. Before joining, I thought I was doing well at the gym lifting on my own. But the programming at PWR proved me wrong. There are constantly new exercises and you learn how to really focus, breathe with the movements, and feel the good burn. All of the trainers are extremely present, kind, and knowledgeable.

I started at PWR back in July 2021, thinking I’d probably only go 1-2 times per week. Flash forward to today and I’m there 5 times a week. I got ACL surgery back in January 2020. Once I finished physical therapy and went back to working out on my own, I wasn’t seeing results and stopped.

After almost 6 months of PWR I started playing soccer again and that wouldn’t have been an option if I didn’t join. PWR keeps me motivated and excited to work out. The workouts are challenging and the coaches are always there to make sure you’re doing it right. The friendly coaches/members and great fits are what keep me coming back 💖

To call PWR a "gym" doesn't do it justice. PWR is an experience, a community, a place where I've learned to like myself, made new friends and connections and...PWR is a place I consistently attend! How many gym memberships have I paid for that have just been another monthly bill? Not this time! And when you don't show up, the coaches check in. Because they actually care about how you are doing and want to support you! And your community will rally and support you, too! It's not easy, but it's worth it and most things that are worth it rarely are. There is such a great feeling of accomplishment hearing "your timer is complete." Worth going every time.

I have been going here for a year, and my husband recently joined as well! This gym is so empowering, fun and motivating! Trainers are knowledgeable and helpful. They are always there to correct your form, prevent injuries and challenge you when needed. I have definitely noticed weight loss and muscle gain, but MORE than that, my cardiovascular health and mental health has also been improved. I started a year ago and what an amazing family I have joined !! I had chronic back pain from years of sports that would debilitate me for weeks at a time. With slow methodical training and modifications provided by all the trainers at PWR, I have fought back to consistently working out 5 days a week moving up in weights/reps and endurance and haven't been knocked down with back pain at all!!
I miss the days I am off but have learned recovery is just as important as the workouts themselves. I look forward to seeing my 5 am crew everyday and starting my days off with an amazing workout !! I cannot say enough about PWR518! I was a runner but with an injury and surgery I could no longer run. I lost all my confidence. A friend insisted I try PWR. I saw the pictures. I was GYMtimidated! But I said I would try. The first day there all the instructors knew my name. Came and greeted me and helped me feel comfortable AND SAFE the entire workout (and every workout since). Yeah...these are challenging workouts. The coaches and other members are fierce. They bring out my best! You wont find a more challenging gym you can start at ANY level and grow with. Nor will you find a more welcoming and supportive gym! They are my community now!

Making the decision to leave one gym to go to another is always a tough decision especially when you rely on it for training to make you a better athlete outside of the facility. From the moment I tried PWR out with the 4 class intro period I knew I’d love it for so many reasons. 3/4 months later I can honestly say this was the best decision and change I made! This is a culture that has a solid consistency of guidance from coaches, encouragement to push yourself, a vibe that is contagious and leaves you pumped for the day and honestly a culture that truly cares about your well-being, health and goals. When I first went to PWR I was a little nervous because it was my first time doing a HIIT workout ever. I had no idea what I was doing also didn’t really know anyone but I was greeted with open arms by everyone! The coaches are so amazing they come over to you and guide you through any workout if you are struggling also fix your form so you are always getting the best workout possible. I am so happy I chose to come to PWR. I can see such great changes in my body. The workouts are so fun the music is always bumpin and it’s just an overall great experience. It’s honestly addicting! I have been a member from day one, when it was formerly HIWB aka, Hiit It With Britt and at its prior location on Walker Way! PWR represents exactly what it stands for. Every class brings you variety in a loving & caring atmosphere with the most decorated trainers. PWR is acceptable for ALL fitness levels! I feel both at ease and exhilarated when I walk through those doors each and every morning. Working out at PWR has allowed for me to create life long friendships with people that make me want to get out of bed at 4 am every day! NEVER in a million years would I have thought that I’d be sweating and working out in public!! I have only been a member for around 10 months but in those tens months PWR has become one of my favorite places! When we first started I was not a fan of group workout classes at all but they instantly changed my mind. Now I look forward to every class and I love all of the trainers!! Personally, I’m a weight lifter. I joined this gym with my wife to support and assist her with feeling more comfortable while working out. This is a very fast paced environment. If you don’t like being pushed to your absolute limit every time you step foot In The door, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you are trying to better yourself and have a GREAT high intensity workout EVERY TIME you walk through the door this is the place for you. There are always positive vibes and plenty of encouragement. No one there judges, everyone is there to better themselves. This place is Full of positive energy and support. I love pushing myself to the absolute limit and they help me do that every time I train. I love it!!! And again this is coming from a weight lifter. 💪💪

I always hated conventional work outs until I started here over a year ago. Since then it's become my favorite hour of the day. Not only are the trainers all warm and welcoming, but everyone is invested in helping you better yourself in everyway possible, especially since COVID. I feel safer here than I do almost everywhere else I go. Temp checks, spraying between classes, individual sanitizers, as someone who skirts the risk line it's so reassuring to walk in and know they've taken every possible step to make sure we're all safe. And with their cone system I was pushed further out of my comfort zone than I ever would've pushed myself before, I'm so much stronger and better off for it. Everyone is so encouraging, knowledgeable, and kind. And after finishing my first round of their Accountability Program with Sarah I can't wait to start another!

PWR (formerly HiiT it with Britt) was hands down the best experience- as simply as I can put it, and that doesn't do it justice. From the moment you walk in you're greeted with the warmest welcome from their coaches. All proper safety precautions are taken to ensure our health is protected (temp check, sanitation, 6' spacing). All fitness levels are supported- so don't worry if you feel you might not be at your strongest, or are just starting to workout. They really have your back with options and modifications. During your class, you'll feel empowered, supported and encouraged. They check your form, correct any potential injury-educing mistakes (we all make them!), and then step back and are your BIGGEST cheerleaders. The coaches are the most attentive, personal and FUN people to train with. I think this place is perfect for anyone, at any fitness level. I'm grateful that I found them.

I joined HIWB a little over 3 years ago when I was looking to switch up my routine; walking into this gym was the best decision I could have made!

To begin, Britt and her trainers are the absolute best. You truly get a personal training experience in a class setting. All of the trainers are educated and incredibly supportive; from providing modifications to challenges, they are there with you every step of the way. Their adaptability, particularly during the last 10 months while navigating COVID is admirable. Upon returning to the gym, safety and sanitizing protocols to ensure everyone’s health and well being were implemented. All equipment is sanitized before, during, and after the workout. I feel completely safe and comfortable working out in this gym.

Second, the community in this gym is unmatched. Not only do you have the support of your trainers, you have the support of the family working out beside you. Hiiters uplift and encourage one another. The positive energy is contagious.

I highly recommend HIWB to everyone! I’m grateful for not only the physical gains, but for the growth mindset, and the community. I look forward to each and every day I get to workout at HIWB.

Hands down, this is the best gym in the Capital Region. I started coming to HIWB in December 2019 and instantly loved it. The workouts are always different so I never get bored and actually look forward to working out. The trainers here are amazing. They make you feel welcomed and you can tell they genuinely care about you and your health and safety, especially with the new COVID guidelines. Have been working out at HIWB for over a year now and every workout is challenging. The trainers will motivate you to get the best workout each time. The workouts are a great mix of strength and cardio training.

Since COVID the HIWB team have adapted to keep everyone safe while maintaining the same level of workout. The gym and equipment are very clean and frequently sanitized. Everyone wears a mask and are socially distanced. I didn’t think that I could workout with a mask but now I don’t notice a difference with or without one. I have had an incredible experience at Hiit it with Britt. When I began I was out of shape and significantly overweight. The entire community is super supportive. The trainers are all amazing and manage to stay focused on each member individually with goals and form- all while keeping the group energy level up! Every time I return to Albany, I book HIWB weeks in advance because I am that excited to take class again. I took my first HIIT class at HIIT It with Britt late September of 2020 and immediately fell in LOVE! The staff works hard to create and maintain a clean facility, using towels, personal spray bottles, and masks to keep everyone safe... they have made joining a new work out community SO welcoming and fun! Since the first day I stepped foot in HIWB I was welcomed with open arms by the trainers and fellow hitters. All the trainers are very attentive and go out of their way to give encouragement to each hitter during class. I’ve been a HiiTer for about 2 years now and I can’t imagine life without this gym, ESPECIALLY now. During quarantine, HIWB provided virtual workouts with varying modifications tailored to at-home availability of equipment DAILY. Despite the circumstances, the trainers remained positive, committed, and encouraging. When HIWB was finally able to open again (thank goodness!) they met us with safety protocols with ALL of us in mind to make sure that we were comfortable, prepared, and most importantly, SAFE. Almost 3 months into these protocols (including individual sanitizers for every station and mandatory towel use) and I have nothing but faith in this gym and the community it fosters. HIWB has not only improved my physical health but my mental health as well; these trainers and this environment is what gets me out of bed every morning (no joke!). As a trainer at HIWB, I feel completely safe coming to work. There are protocols in place to keep all of our members safe. Everyone takes their temperatures at the door upon entering, each member carries around their own sanitizing spray to each station to sanitize after each use, each member has a personal towel to lay on/ use, members are stationed 6 feet apart from one another, hand sanitizer is placed through out the gym, equipment is sanitized after each class, and the floors are cleaned nightly. I joined HIWB about a month ago. I went from being totally sedentary to going 3-4x a week. I cannot say enough good things about HIWB and the staff.
First, let's chat about the elephant in the room. The coaches are no joke with COVID protocols. You enter and have to have your temp taken. You are given a spray bottle with sanitizing solution, which you spray on everything as soon as you're done at that station; even if you're just sitting on the floor, you spray the floor you sat on. When you touch the equipment from the last person, you know it's clean because you can see and feel the sanitizing solution. If you're not complying or you forget your temp, they will come get you or remind you. We're also spaced out six feet apart and masked at all times. Because of this, HIWB makes me feel 10x safer than I do anywhere else — and that's coming from someone who has recovered from COVID.
Second, the coaches are phenomenal. My first night, I could not stand up after a few reps of a minor leg exercise. Not only did my coaches help me get up, but both women dried my frustrated tears and got me back on the floor to finish my workout with some simple, effective moves. With the exceptional training comes a support system that I can't describe. These people have become like family to me in a month. I'm so honored to train here.

I don't even know where to begin with the positive things I have to say about this place! I have always enjoyed working out, but would get bored lifting at a regular gym. I tried my first class at HiiT it With Britt 3 years ago, nervous of course to walk into a new place that was full of people but from day 1, there was nothing but love and support. Britt and the other trainers made it a point to introduce themselves and make me feel welcome.

The classes are difficult in a sense that they are designed to challenge you but there is NOTHING to be intimidated by. Each trainer is super friendly and will help you with any questions you have before or during the workout. If you are just beginning and need to modify things to fit your fitness level, the trainers will help you without you feeling ashamed or embarrassed.

The other HIITers are so supportive and will help you, inspire you, and encourage you to do your best. I cannot stress enough how much this gym has changed me both physically and mentally. 2 years ago at this time , I lost my mother . I have been with HIIT WITH Britt since the beginning .
Paralyzed with grief, I could not walk through the doors and face any of my friends, or family . For most of you know that Britt is my first cousin . She also lost her aunt JoJo, my mother .
For an entire year, I isolated myself through my depression and couldn’t understand why didn’t want to be around anyone . I didn’t want to be happy . A constant voice repeatedly telling me to get to the gym because I would feel better ! What I realize today , I didn’t want to feel better . I ate my way through my grief and gained 30+ pounds . Now i didn’t have a choice but to walk through those doors and face it all .
So , I did.
So many friends , hugging me welcoming me back with open arms and hugs . I smiled again. I laughed again . I made new friends that now have become my family .
For one time in my life , I get excited to go to the gym , I get excited to laugh and smile. It has become my safe place . My place of clarity and confidence . And I’m surrounded with love and laughter . One day at a time, I am on a road to healing and getting healthy .
There is no other place I can honestly say has gotten me through the hardest times in my life . It’s home .

Be ready for a tough workout, but the numerous instructors are always around to help out with exercise modifications. The routines are different every day, and the exercises come fast and furious, but don't be intimidated. Give HIIT It with Britt a chance and you'll see quick results!

I started at hit it with Britt 6 months after having my daughter. I have never seen results happen so quickly! Everyday is a NEW work out, it is never the same. I never met Britt before walking in there and she is so welcoming and makes you feel like family. The encouragement and help from all the trainers make you feel very comfortable about working out there. Going to hiit it with britt has made me (and continues to make me) so much stronger-- physically and mentally. I'm so happy I found this place!
