Amazing CrossFit gym with coaches who care a lot about their community and members! I highly recommend. My best friend who I grew up with also goes here and cannot say enough. The owners put so much effort into their programming, community and the business. If you are looking for proper technique with Olympic lifting, CrossFit, nutrition or just a great workout look no further! This is the place for you!

I’ve been training with Dan for the past two 2 years, and I can honestly say I’ve never felt stronger or more capable, especially as a postpartum mom of 3 kids. When I first started, I was a little skeptical of his methods, only because it’s a type of training most of my close friends and family do not participate in, but trusting him has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The progress I’ve seen physically and mentally speaks for itself.

What stands out most about Dan is his reliability and presence. He shows up every single session, not just physically but mentally—focused, prepared, and fully engaged. He’s incredibly thoughtful and in tune, picking up on how I’m feeling and adjusting things on the spot when needed. He listens, he cares, and he balances pushing me to my limits with knowing when to pull back.

Dan is more than a trainer. He has helped me feel stronger, more confident, and more capable in my everyday life, which is invaluable as a busy mom. If you’re looking for someone who truly invests in you and your goals, Dan is the trainer and friend you want in your corner.

In the past 7 years since I was my fittest I tried multiple different gym memberships and kickboxing classes. Following influencers routines or trying to create my own just didn’t work for my consistency. If you can relate and feel like you need USEFUL guidance, I strongly recommend RADD. Absolutely love this CrossFit gym! Before joining RADD I would go to CrossFit off and on for months but never stick with it. It is now my one year anniversary with RADD and I attribute it to the entire ambiance. Dan and Diana are great coaches and are great with prioritizing form so I never feel scared that I will injure something. I actually like the small, intimate vibes of the gym and love that there is a great community of strong women here! Everyone is also so nice! It is so inspiring to see people of all ages staying strong and taking care of their body. They also host nutritional challenges and events so it helps me stay accountable and reenergize my goals of losing weight. I never feel judged and love that I can track my stats on the inbody machine and see pictures for progress if I choose. I am really proud of the work I have done at this gym and have gradually been losing weight and becoming stronger in a slow healthy way and look forward to my next year of progress 😀

RADD is one of the best gyms I've ever been to, this is made possible by the staff. All of them are super supportive and incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to the body. Together with their help I was able to achieve a new level of understanding of what I'm capable of doing and it's exciting! Personally I dealt with Dan the most and there is just so many great things I can say about him and if you take the time to work with him he will become emotionally invested in your success which is a rare quality. I was a member of RADD for only 2 months before I moved away, but I wish I could still be a member. The community is great, the classes are small enough that you receive individualized attention/feedback, and the coaches really care about getting you to your fitness goals. The owners, Diana and Dan, want to get to know you and make you feel like family. If you're unable to make a class, the gym is always available for you to use which is a huge perk. One of the best boxes I've been to.

Joining RADD CrossFit has been a transformative experience for me over the past six months, and I can confidently say it has been one of the best decisions I've made for my health and overall well-being.

I've always aspired to have a strong and fit physique, but despite years of effort in the gym, I never saw the progress I wanted. After college, I joined the Navy and stayed in shape enough to pass the bi-annual fitness tests. However, during my three years of service aboard a submarine, my fitness levels declined, and I gained 20 pounds, reaching a body fat percentage I had never seen before.

After my sea duty, I was desperate to lose weight and return to a healthier lifestyle, but my attempts were mostly unsuccessful. I lost a few pounds through extreme dieting and excessive treadmill running but felt constantly frustrated. Then, on a whim, I discovered RADD CrossFit, and it changed my life forever. Since joining the RADD community, I've lost all the fat I gained during my sea duty and have built muscle mass like never before. When I graduated from college, I weighed 160 pounds soaking wet. Today, I am thrilled to say I weigh 190 pounds of lean muscle and I am in the best shape of my life.

RADD CrossFit has truly changed my life. This incredible community has eliminated the guesswork from my training and provided me with a sense of belonging and inner peace for which I am deeply grateful. Thanks to Dan and Diana, who I now consider family, and all the wonderful coaches and fellow members, I have achieved numerous personal goals, including being accepted into my dream graduate school. The mental toughness and confidence I've gained from this gym have positively impacted all areas of my life.

In short, if you have struggled to reach your fitness goals, give RADD CrossFit a try. You won't be disappointed, and you'll discover strengths and capabilities within yourself that you never thought possible.

Extremely welcoming CrossFit gym! I dropped in from out of town and all of the owners who were there greeted me and welcomed me into the space - even though I was wearing a Red Sox shirt! I've been going to RADD for roughly 10 years now with my husband. During this time, I've met some incredible people with whom I now call family.

Throughout my life, I've tried many different gyms like Orange Theory, F45, Planet Fitness, and more but none of them offered the guidance and community that RADD offers.

I had to have back surgery (not related to working out) and when I got the go ahead to workout again, the coaches at RADD were there to help me get back on track with modified programming for strength and conditioning. I'm happy to say that I've been pain free for years now.

If you want a great gym to be a part of, look no further. You found it.

I have been a member at RADD for 3 years and I have nothing but praise. The staff: Each coach has their strengths and I really liked Tommy, Dan and Diana’s classes. Dan is very attentive to my concerns. He gave me a lifting routine to fit my personal needs and body composition. Diana is very bubbly and relates well with the members. The atmosphere: Dan and Diana have done an outstanding job of creating an atmosphere of non judgement, welcoming to the new comer and positive feedback to all. When I started at the gym, my first class was so welcoming. All the members came up to me at the end of class and gave a fist bump and welcomed me. I would recommend this gym if you are looking for a new lifestyle including a healthy community -mentally and physically, great members and encouraging staff that lives to serve and see progress.

Stopped in for a drop in visit while traveling for work. Connected with the owner via email prior to arriving and they were very helpful and courteous. Answered all of my questions and shared the workout with me for the next day.

Little challenging to find the CrossFit box as it was located in a nook of a community gym. Coach was helpful and reviewed the movements of the warm up and workout at the beginning of the class. Members were very nice and introduced themselves.

If you’re in the area and need a CF Box to workout in, give this place a try.

RADD CrossFit is everything I was looking for and more! The coaches and the workouts have far exceeded my expectations in the 6 months that I have been a member. The coaches are always willing to share advice and insight whether it’s on technique or on nutrition. Their positivity and energy is contagious and always make the classes fun and exciting. As a former college athlete I was hungry for something challenging and new. The classes at RADD CrossFit has really kicked me back into shape, arguably the best shape I’ve been since competing in college sports. The workouts are always different so you will never get bored. RADD CrossFit is a really great place for all types of fitness. Dan gave me a meal plan to help me prep for a physique show in Early April, and it has been amazing. This gave me 5 weeks to drop a few pounds of body fat. All I can say is I’m very happy. He recommended me foods as well as created an individualized meal plan. When I first started RADD CrossFit NSLI my goal was weight loss, but I quickly learned that RADD would be there to help me improve more than that . I had to take a moment to give a shout out to RADD and the owners and coaches, Rob, Dan, and Diana, because I feel this is worth noting. A year ago, right before we went into lockdown, I had went to a CityMD because of a sinus infection, didn't have Covid, just your usual winter URI. At the time, I was also battling high blood pressure and was supposed to be going for an angiogram in the middle of March which of course got cancelled because of the pandemic. Rob introduced me to some online workouts because my gym was obviously closed. He then told me about a nutrition challenge RADD was having and I signed up. Dan called me immediately and we started talking about my goals. I told him about my hbp and that I was concerned about the meds I was on. I did exercise and try to eat right, but it didn't seem to be working. His response, "we can help you". I started CrossFit via zoom and working with Diana on my nutrition and fitness weekly with both support from her and an accountability group I was in, and still am in. Fast forward a year later I was back at CityMD getting my Covid shot. When they went over my history they were so surprised. No more hbp, I am not on one Rx drug, and I am fitter and healthier then ever. And, I achieved most of this while on lockdown through zoom. RADD never stopped servicing its members during Covid and l was able to turn the pandemic into something positive. I live in Queens and now that they are opened again I travel to them for their classes because I am now hooked on Crossfit and continuing with my fitness goals. I will be 50 in 6 months and am healthier and fitter then I have ever been. I still have goals I want to achieve like we all do but I know I will get to them with the help of the RADD community. When they say don't use the word can't, the RADD coaches mean it because they are going to show you one way or another, that you can.

About 7 years ago I started looking into some CrossFit gyms. I went to 3 gyms in my local area. When I walked into 2 of them they handed me a piece of paper saying this is our schedule and how much it costs. When I walked into RADD one of the owners Diana had a conversation with me. When I walked out the door I knew this would be the gym I’d try out first. Fast forward 7 years later I can’t say enough good things about them. Not only did they teach me about getting fit but they helped me create a better lifestyle for myself and in turn my family. RADD Crossfit constantly goes over the top to help benefit not only their members but the community around them as well. I’m a school teacher in the Glen Cove school district and on multiple occasions they have invited students into their facility to exercise and share information about running a business and nutrition. If you have any second thoughts about joining RADD CrossFit just go in and chat with the owners. The first step is walking in the door. They’ll help guide you from there.

If I can describe the philosophy of RADD in a few words it would be, "You can do it!" This may sound like a common phrase, but RADD lives by this philosophy from workouts, to eating, to lifestyle changes, and to overall mental and emotional health. RADD cares about the WHOLE person and helps you to achieve your goals. They treat you like family and they care about their people. Every coach works with you at your own pace and caters workouts to what you can do, and then pushes you to your next level. At first a CrossFit workout seemed like an impossibility to me but I once I took the plunge, I loved it because RADD made me feel that I can do it. Since every workout is structured to your abilities and what challenges you, everyone feels welcome in group settings and everyone supports each other. I recently joined RADD after moving from the city to Glen Cove, and so far the experience has been great! The owners and staff have been incredibly welcoming, from the moment I requested information Dan reached out to me immediately (like, within a minute of pressing submit) and wanted to learn about my goals as well as what drives me to be fit and healthy. Since it’s a family run business, there’s definitely a personal touch you sense right away, they care a lot about their members and the quality of the space and equipment. With Covid, the safety measures in place have made me feel comfortable, and I’ve really enjoyed the workouts so far. The programming is well balanced and thought out, and it’s been great to help me get back in shape after quarantine. When I first started looking into crossfit I went to look at a gym by my house and a gym by my job. The gym by my house basically handed me a brochure and told me to come back another time. The gym by my job welcomed me in and one of the owners Diana spoke with me for at least 15 minutes patiently answering all of my questions. This gym was RADD Crossfit in Seacliff. I decided to go with RADD and haven't regretted it once since then. The RADD coaches are helpful, supportive and very educated in their area. Not only do they provide information on how to become better at working out but they also offer free nutritional advice. I highly recommend this gym if you want to better yourself and meet some really fun people.

Rob, Dan, Diana, and all the coaches are great. They take the time to make sure all the movements are done properly and with the correct form so that everyone gets the most out of that day's WOD. At the same time they make RADD a welcoming atmosphere where everyone pushes each other to succeed. The workouts makes you stronger both mentally and physically, be sure to stop by and try out a class!

I have just finished my 2nd month at CrossFit NSLI and cannot say enough great things about the experience. The owners and trainers are great people and they are very patient with new members who are just finding their way. The gym has all sorts of members, some training for intense competitions, others, like myself, just looking to stay healthy and get into better shape.
The atmosphere while training is very unique. It is hard to explain, but even while you are pushing yourself harder then you ever imagined you could, it is still fun. Sometimes while training, as I'm huffing and puffing, I start shaking my head, laughing to myself, finding it hard to believe that I am actually completing these workouts. You will feel like you are getting your own personal trainer when there. Whatever your goals, this is a great place to train and you would do yourself a big favor to give this CrossFit a shot.

So glad I took the leap of faith and tried the introductory class at Radd. Rob and Dan are both great coaches. They are really patient with the members and have a great knack for knowing when to push you towards goals you think are not possible. The atmosphere at the box (crossfit for "gym") is so welcoming to both experienced CrossFitters and newbies alike. No egos here and the support from fellow members makes this a great place to push beyond your current limits. They are super strict when it comes to form on the lifts and movements and make sure you know the "how" before you think about the "how much." In all the years I've been a gym member I've never experienced a great atmosphere like this.
