First time attendee (traveling for business) and my experience was amazing from start to finish. Alissa was beyond accommodating (great communication before and during the workout, encouragement, excitement, and inclusion) and does a fantastic job running this training facility. The workout itself was awesome and exactly what I was looking for - efficient, effective, and challenging. I look forward to partaking in future classes when in town! This place is AMAZING! Not only is it a gym but the community is so great! The coaches want the best for their clients and help so much with form! Renegade is a workout like no other! Each workout is different and continuously challenges you while helping build strength, which is so important no matter what journey you are on. I took a Saturday morning class at Renegade which was perfect as a first class bc it was structured as stations with basic but effective exercises that gave you the most bang for your buck. This was also a fundraising class open to non-members to support a non-profit that a member was fundraising for. The gym environment created by the owner was a vibe and it was impossible not to sweat and have a great time.

A VIBE. Renegade truly is a special place. I am an old collegiate athlete, dabbled in CrossFit, had kids, and now getting back into figuring out what I can do - this place is incredible. I have been a member of this gym going on about a year now. This is the longest I’ve stayed consistent with a gym membership because I tend to get bored and like to change things up after a couple months. The coaches here are constantly adding in/changing workouts around so you never know what you’ll expect each day/week/month. Everyone at the gym also very supportive and pushes you to do your best!

I have not worked out regularly in over 3 years. I was a former d1 athlete and I knew I wanted a group workout setting that would push me back into my athlete mindset. Renegade is 10/10. The atmosphere that Alissa and Adam have created is electric! The sense of community you feel right when you walk in for the first time is pretty awesome too. They are super encouraging and pushing you to be your best. And on top of that the workouts are HARD and rewarding and you always leave feeling better than you came. I tried the free week through MINDBODY and left with a monthly membership and I’m super excited for what is to come! If you’re scared to try just know you have to start somewhere! And you might as well try somewhere that has a good sense of community and coaches that truly want to see you succeed!

I’ve been coming here for about two weeks now and I am never looking back. Hybrid training is something I never thought I’d like until I found Renegade Fitness! Renegade fitness is like no other gym in Syracuse. It is challenging, keeps you motivated, and has lasting results. I was a member at a previous gym for years, my results on in body scans were the same, year after year. I began at renegade and in less than a year (after being pregnant) my in body scan has changed drastically. The owners Liss & Adam truly care about their members. They are encouraging, uplifting, correct form, and put their blood sweat & tears into this gym. The members are also all like none other and nothing I’ve seen before. Everyone is very supportive and always pushing others to do their best. If you try renegade, you won’t regret it and you will immediately be in awe, especially with your results. Just do it!

Renegade is truly one of a kind with no place quite like it in Syracuse. Coming from a previous group exercise style gym, Renegade took it to a whole other level. Although the workouts at renegade fall under my preferred fitness style, I still can see why the coaches make the decisions they do. This is concerning the movements they're choosing day to day/week to week, the time frame we are given, why certain movements are in succession to one another, etc. I also see the coaches both actively making adjustments when needed, and pivoting based on client needs, and that’s so important. The music is pretty dope too.

On a personal level Renegade has allowed me to improve in so many ways, where at other places I may have been more inclined to plateau. I have seen improvements in my core strength, general strength, stamina, and form. Renegade also provides me a safe space to work on myself socially, something I don’t always feel comfortable doing.

This is a woman founded, family owned gym and they give their all to their clients. They’re motivated by their desire to help people on their fitness journey, not by money. Alissa is one of the most motivational people you will ever meet and will pick you up and push you farther. I am excited for Adam to join her in training as he is equally motivating and dedicated and will bring fresh ideas from his recent studies for his NASM certification.

What can I say? I'm in the best shape of my life and down 12lbs after 5 months of workouts at Renegade. Alissa is super motivating and knows each person's abilities so she can push you where needed. The workouts are always varied with creative movements so you won't get bored. Be warned that you're definitely going to work (maybe harder than you ever have before) but the feeling after is worth all the sweat and possibly tears lol

Liss is one of the greatest trainers I've ever worked with, to the point she inspired me to become a trainer!

The workouts are intense and fun, and she caters to your ability level. The first workout I had with her I couldn't do push ups. Now when I workout with her she makes sure to push me to my absolute limits.

There is no workout like a Renegade workout! I burn more calories, am drenched in sweat and am sore afterwards knowing I worked muscles that I haven’t in a while. Alissa is the best coach out there creating fun and challenging workouts with amazing playlists to accompany them! She genuinely CARES about you and your well-being; you’re not just a paycheck to her. It’s obvious how much she loves her job watching her coach her clients - she wants to be there and see her people succeed. She knows just the right amount to push you, and celebrates with you when you accomplish something new! Not only is she amazing in the gym, but she’s also a fantastic nutrition coach.
