As a father not a dancer, I’m simply here to support my daughter. Over the past four years, I’ve watched her grow tremendously in both skill and confidence. In the last couple of years especially, her dancing has improved more than I ever imagined. Beyond technique, I’ve seen her become more confident, socially engaged, and excited to be part of a team.
What stands out most is the atmosphere: you can feel the joy from both the staff and the kids after every class. During events, that energy grows even more as the dancers celebrate their hard work and achievements. What’s truly special is the way the kids and staff cheer each other on, even when the spotlight is on someone else.
Thank you, Rhonda and Maddie, for your dedication, love, and the positive impact you’ve had on my daughter’s life. We’re truly grateful.

Rhonda’s is an excellent facility. My granddaughter has been taking classes and she has really grown and come out of her shell because of the supportive and encouraging atmosphere that is provided to the students. When more individualized support was needed, the staff was patient, attentive and helpful. The owner is transparent, experienced, approachable and communicative (which is appreciated because parents aren’t always allowed to stay in the classroom which is a common practice with dance classes, it’s not a complaint), and always available to answer questions that may arise. The students and the adults all know up front what is expected of them, and it’s a great experience. We love this establishment!

My 16 year old daughter decided that she wanted to take dance classes for the first time in her life. She was nervous going into these classes with no prior experience and Michaela and Rhonda made her feel very welcome and at ease. She has a great time and it has boosted her confidence. Thank you Michaela and Rhonda!

A little backstory: My son is 2.5 years old with Down syndrome, physical disabilities and sensory processing challenges. We learned about an inclusive program through Encompass recreation with Rhonda’s Footeworks so we enrolled our son. Everyone involved has been spectacular and Viggo had so much fun that we enrolled him in Rhonda’s regular Tiny Tots class! Every instructor is so patient with him and his social development has blossomed so quickly because of his experiences there. We’re excited to enroll him in the Winter Break Fun program and can’t wait to see what else this amazing woman and her company offer in his future

My daughter has been taking dance lessons at Rhonda’s Footeworks since September and we have had a very positive experience. Michaela has been wonderful and makes each lesson inclusive and joyful. I was worried about my daughter’s ability to fully participate and stay focused but the instructors work hard to make sure each child receives positive reinforcement, which encourages the students to work hard, follow rules and have fun. We plan to stay with Rhonda’s as long as our tiny dancer loves it ( and she assures us that dancing is now her life 😂)

My daughter has been dancing at Rhonda's FooteWorks since she was four years old. She is now eight and we will never dance anywhere else. She has always struggled with separation anxiety and she would struggle to even go into a school classroom. At RFW she has blossomed. She has found a second home where she is loved, supported and encouraged, and where she has been fostered in an environment that has allowed her to thrive as a human and a dancer. That confidence has translated from the dance studio to the stage and into her life - she is more confident and comfortable in the world at large because of Rhonda, her incredible instructors and the people she has met at RFW. We have referred several friends and family to Rhonda's FooteWorks over the years who have all had the most positive and supportive experiences. This includes my 2 year old god son who has Down's Syndrome and is a part of RFW's inclusive dance program with Encompass Recreation that was founded in 2023. Rhonda's own daughter, Madi, was born with severe physical disabilities and it makes Rhonda incredibly insightful, compassionate and caring when it comes to children of all abilities. Madi is the Assistant Director at RFW where she can be found teaching, choreographing and making all of the kids laugh. She is also a fourth grade teacher and on the board of Encompass Recreation, underscoring the commitment of Rhonda's FooteWorks to all children regardless of background or ability. Add in three studios, a great central location, impeccable and thorough communication, the ease of the online parent portal for registration and payments and there is no place in this area that can compare to RFW.

Rhonda’s FooteWorks is a business, run like a business. There are over 300 dancers. The studio provides a quality dance experience for all children in the room. I have seen several reviews stating the studio cannot accommodate additional needs. Just like an other sport, program or activity there is no one on one aide. Teachers have one helper in the room, so that helper and teacher work with the entire group. They do offer solo study if you feel your dancer could benefit from a one on one environment. There are two levels of dance, student level (recreational) and company level (competitive). There are many different styles of dance and 3 different classrooms. The location is easy to access in the square in Watertown with lots for parents to do while class is in session. The studio runs on semesters (spring, fall and summer) and billing is also based on semesters. I have three children who have been dancing at the studio for 9 year. They love their friends, have a ton of variety and enjoy the opportunity to be part of the community. The competition team does performances to raise money to support the encompass program one Sunday a month and the dancers volunteer their time to work with encompass recreation kids one on one in a fun pressure free environment. They also do an annual performance for the love Michaela foundation to raise money for local families going through cancer treatment. We are very happy with our dance experience. My dancers have build confidence, independence, friendship, structure and technical skills.

In my opinion…Not racially, sensory or special needs inclusive…don’t be fooled by these reviews and the things posted on the Facebook page. Rhonda is only NOW posting “sensory related” classes on there because of a guilty conscience. I now see there are people leaving “positive” reviews after my incident with this studio, which is laughable and calculated. Me, my family and those connected to me will not be silenced.

Rhonda’s FooteWorks is such a loving, positive place for children to attend. From the moment we stepped foot inside we have been treated with love and respect. My child has gained so much confidence, discipline and motivation in her dance class. She is really learning the basics that I know will be a great foundation to build upon as she grows as a dancer and member of the community. The instructors and director are very kind, accommodating and fun. Any concerns or questions I have had have always been met with understanding and thoughtfulness. I also love that it is such an inclusive environment, they really offer so much to such a variety of needs. You can feel how much care and grace this studio offers to all who enter. We’ve found our dance studio and are so happy to be here. I highly recommend to all families, especially military families who deal with so much change and uncertainty. Let Rhonda’s be a place of peace, commitment and fun for your littles..you will not regret it!

This studio is NOT a good fit for people of color, nor their children. When dance instructors pin something about a child, rather than addressing an issue right then while the parent is present, is beyond me!! And when the parents request a meeting with themselves and the instructor and the director, The Director rather choose to email AND on the day of the meeting, cancels and says the child is not a good fit? Says whom? This is so unprofessional, this is racial profiling. Also, the email sent, the director did not respond with love, nor compassion, but rather tried to label a child with disabilities that the child does NOT HAVE!!! -this says to me that what ever issue the instructor had about something the child done; it should have been addressed when it happened. Also if the application states a need imputed by the parent…it would not have gotten to this point, if it was read entirely. If your are not trained or have knowledge, “after reading” then ask the parent. Words can be very traumatic and can leave a bad taste about someone or something.
But don’t assume anything rather be professional and speak with the parents in person to get resolution and always, always listen to the parties at hand. I would advise anyone of color, not to take their children to this dance studio. It’s sad to hear of toxic behavior coming from a place of business for children to express, to show kindness and love. Disappointed.

Rhonda’s has a spot for everyone depending on what you’re looking for to dance and it is very inclusive! All of my kids have danced there and continue to do so. And the plus that makes here more special is that it is a bigger picture than just dance. It’s friends, family, community and everything in between. Every teacher regardless of age puts forth their best efforts for all the kids to learn and make them get excited for dance! The growth is undeniable ❤️

This place has been nothing but wonderful for our family! Two of our children attend classes and beyond the instruction, which is wonderful, this community that Rhonda Foote has built is helping my girls grow into confident and engaged dancers, friends and citizens. The studio and its director place a strong emphasis on effort over excellence and teach the students that dedication is what determines results. So glad we found this studio and it’s supportive, knowledgeable staff!

I have had both of my girls dancing at Rhonda’s Footeworks for the last five years. I love the professionalism, level of expertise and artistry, and how inclusive the studio is. No matter your level there is a place for your dancer at the studio; from the beginner to the advanced there are classes and groups for everyone. The girls have grown as dancers and we all have made friends that have grown into family! I highly recommend!!

My daughter has been dancing for many years. Rhonda’s Footeworks has taught my daughter what hard work is, responsibility, accountability, teamwork, confidence, and proper technique. But one tho g that sets it apart from the others. Is the sense of if community that they instill in there students. They have helped raise money for many charities. In addition they just became a OPEN DOORS designated establishment from Encompass recreation.

We love Rhonda’s and all her staff. They do a great job at responding in a timely manner and answer all questions with ease. The kids know they have high expectations and need to do the work while still being allowed to be kids. The staff are amazing with creating loving relationships with each kiddo and their families. Dance has helped our daughter with her negative self esteem and really helped her practice how to focus. We can’t wait to see what else dancing at Rhonda’s can do for her!

We LOVE Rhonda and Rhonda’s Footeworks. I can’t speak highly enough about the entire staff. Maddie, Rhonda, Isabella, Jenn, Mckensie, and every guest teacher has been nothing short of spectacular. The love of dance really shows through every instructor and pours into the students. My son has been at Rhonda’s for over 2 years now. He is autistic and has loved to utilize dance as a form of expression. Rhonda room him in and has helped him grow exponentially. She has helped him bloom and grow into confidence that he wouldn’t have gained without the discipline and structure that is provided at RFW. I’m so, so thankful for the RFW team and everything he continues to learn. He insists on being a “big” someday, so we are in it for the long haul! ❤️

Rhonda’s FooteWorks is the absolute BEST.
Everyone here is so kind. There is never a time where we are not encouraging one another and building each other up. The technique here is on point. I have been in the military my whole life and have been to numerous dance studios, RFW is definitely the best. They are truly invested in each individual student and take the time to fix things that are incorrect. From the moment i walked into the studio, i felt like i was already part of the family, there is so much love and passion here. Going to class is so much fun yet challenging. We are always being challenged to do new things. In the short amount of time that i’ve been here i feel like i’ve grown in my dancing abilities more than anywhere else. So grateful I found Rhonda’s FooteWorks.

My daughters went here for a few months and our experience was not the best. Our biggest problem was that our daughters were put into a class with two teachers who had just graduated high school and were very obviously not invested in the children they were teaching. They would do bare minimum with the kids and weren’t very constructive or give very good guidance and honestly just weren’t very good. It honestly felt like a class they used just to make some extra money without putting a lot of effort into actually teaching. I’m sure if my daughters had been put in an actual class with real teachers, it would have been a lot better, but unfortunately it wasn’t the case and we took our kids out because our daughters didn’t even look forward to going, they were not being taught, so we felt like we were paying for nothing. I wish it had worked out better since we heard so many good things, it was not a good experience. :/

Rhonda's Footeworks is absolutely amazing studio to be apart of, we have been there for one full season now and we love it. Ms. Rhonda and Ms. Madi are very helpful and push to make each student a better dancer and even better person. Our dancer has not only gained better control and skill with dancing, but confidence in herself and most importantly friends! For us as adults since joining, we have always been included and never felt like we didn't belong even from the start; all parents, dancers and instructors are so kind and willing to help.
We are very thankful to be at RFW, I only wish we would have joined sooner than we did, we highly recommend you to sign up your child! :)

Went to the Dulles state office building auditorium last night to see their Christmas Program and what an amazing performance in memory of Storm Woods; The story and the performances led you all the way through to the finale and Rhonda's Rocketts performed amazingly well. It shows the dedication and hard work both the instructors and students have put in to achieve this. Well Done

No matter what your dance experience level, Rhonda's is an amazing studio choice. It has been a perfect fit for my first time dancer teenage daughter who lacked experience, my talented 5 year old daughter who lives and breathes dance, and my 5 year old special needs son. The training, technique, professionalism, and friendships gained are priceless and it has become our home away from home. No matter what you are looking for in a dance experience, you will find it at Rhonda's FooteWorks.
