Ridgewell was by far best “gym” in the area, and now that they have expanded and are making room for more equipment, it’s even better! The lifting equipment is made up of industry classics and newer pieces from Cybex and Life Fitness, with a range of cables, plate loaded machines, and free weights. Plenty of cardio equipment, and a wide range of classes downstairs from Kickboxing to Pilates, taught by skilled and seasoned staff. Freddie, one of the owners (and a natural champion bodybuilder), along with the entire staff, are approachable and knowledgeable. Gym goers are consistently friendly and respectful, with a variety of fitness goals and experience. Can’t wait to go tomorrow morning!

I was in Stone Ridge for a month on a work project and walked into this fitness center to inquire about a short term membership. They offer weekly and monthly memberships at a very reasonable expense. Fred took the time to set up my account and provide a tour of the facilities. The equipment is late model, well maintained and always clean. The employees are great, very welcoming, knowledgeable, and responsive. Fred made a point of visiting with me every time I was in the gym when he was there to say hello and inquire about my workout plan for the day. Great to find good people who are invested in their community. Highly recommend!!

Be very cautious about signing up for membership at Ridgewell. They dont give you a printout of your membership agreement and just have you sign on a pad - I signed up for a one month non commitment trial OR so i requested, but was actually signed up for a monthly recurring membership. When i noticed the charges for the membership i didnt sign up for and contacted the manager, i was told that I couldn't be reimbursed despite the "miscommunication" by the front desk attendant. They confirmed that I wasnt there for months beyond my 30 day trial period and yet refused to reimburse me despite acknowledging that their front desk attendant must have explained it incorrectly.

I’ve been a member for several months now, and I am really pleased. The facility is clean and a very pleasant place for weight training and aerobics. There are plenty of machines with a good variety so there is no need to wait for equipment. The staff is very helpful and a range of private training styles is available by private arrangement. It is really, to me, an ideal environment for fitness.

Great gym. Has all the weights)machines I need. Bathrooms/showers were pretty bad, but are now under construction. Main complaint is they open late on Sat and Sunday. I would love to see them open at 6 like they do the rest of the week.

The owner seemed nice, but when they overcharged me over $200 the owner claims he owes me nothing. He will not return any of my phone calls. I've been trying to contact him weekly for the last four months. I've only been able to speak with the desk attendant. Not sure what to do about my money but save yours and drive a few extra miles.

They Randomly reactivated memberships after Covid (well during), never called to even ask if I wanted to work out with a mask on, or if I even felt safe about coming back!! I Canceled my membership online immediately, and will do what I can do about the false charges they are trying to get out of me… not happy, will never return ever!!
