Hello! I have been trying to get in contact with the studio for a while now. The website shows no options for class booking. I have sent my request through the contact option on the website and I have come to the studio twice and rang the bell since I live nearby but never got an answer. What is the best way to reach you? Looking forward to your reply. Thanksπ

I've been a member here for about 2+ years. LOVE the teachers and the vibes. Such an escape in Brooklyn. Be sure to get a spot by the window so you can see the trees.
4 stars because management isn't super responsive or available.

Before coming to Sagoya, I was intimidated by a hot yoga practice; now Iβm hooked! I love the sunny and intimate atmosphere created at the studio. The staff are so helpful, space is always clean and well-stocked, and the teachers are beyond great. Highly recommend!

Such a hidden gem. One of my favorite places I've ever taken a yoga class. Usually the temperature of the "hot yoga" isn't too hot which is nice. This place is extremely clean and has a lot of nice amenities.

Really lovely studio. I do their monthly pass and go as often as I can. Great instructors as well, and not at all an intimidating environment.
I would echo some of the other reviews re: early morning weekday classes, as they tend to be during the conventional work hours and then in the evenings. I would love the option to go before work on days where I have weeknight commitments. But, I love unwinding at the end of the day, too!

Tess was awesome as an instructor. Studio is on the second floor for those who don't know. Definitely a heated studio so be prepared.

Great yoga studio! Been a regular costumer since it opened! Many teachers are very experienced and teach fun classes. Many classes are challenging and I love that! I definitely see results! Happy we have this place in our neighborhood! Definitely recommend!

Went to a power yoga class, but the class was actually a beginner's class. The space looks nice, but it is too cramped. It's great for small class sizes, but if there's a lot of people, there will be a lot of traffic.

Discovered Sagoya in the neighborhood when I was rehabbing a knee injury, and it's been absolutely wonderful! Class sizes are small and mats are well spaced out, meaning you have plenty of room to starfish without bumping into anyone (a major pet peeve of mine at other NY yoga studios).
Level varies a bit by teacher; some of them are more energetic and really get your heart pumping, while others are a bit more slow paced and thoughtful about explaining positioning. The power flow classes are always a great workout. The room is 90+ degrees so no matter what you WILL be sweating by the end of it. I was able to bring a friend of mine who had never done yoga before and he found it challenging but accessible. Mats & blocks are provided though I'd recommend bringing your own yoga towel. In general, good vibes all around and everyone has been very friendly and welcoming.
My only wish is that they had more 7am and 8am weekday classes available; most start at 9:30am and that's a bit late for my work day. Also, if 95 degree rooms aren't your cup of tea and/or you don't like sweating profusely, I would consider another studio (I used to do Bikram so honestly 95 feels great). Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend!

I love this yoga studio. Beautiful space with nice amenities. I used to go 5x a week when I had the unlimited monthly. Sadly I moved out of the city but Sarah and Caitlyn were wonderful teachers. ππ§π»ββοΈ

Never took hot yoga and Sagoya got me hooked! I have taken a couple of classes here and absolutely enjoy it. The instructors are well trained. Staff are friendly and welcoming. No matt needed, the studio provides you with a matt which is helpful! Each classes makes me feel spiritually rejuvenatedππΎ

Take your money somewhere else, there are countless studios in Brooklyn that have a better approach to yoga and treat their staff better. Not a great place to begin OR perfect your practice. Wonder who this is for...if not a place for the founder to "show off"

Located on the 2nd floor. Ash the instructor was awesome. Had a good experience for a beginner doing yoga. Was not expecting the hot temperature during the class but it was all good.
