Our expert services include multi-sport strength and conditioning, boxing for sport and fitness, flexibility and mobility, and rehabilitative protocols.

Last fall, a very good friend of mine told me she was going to start training at Seraphim and planned to attend for 8 weeks. She ended up training (and continues to train) with Sam one year later. It was evident she had lost weight, however what was most impressive was how fit and in shape she had become and I decided this was something I wanted to try. I struggle with a chronic lower back injury and while I've always done some sort of exercise I am always cautious of hurting myself and end up holding back or quitting all together. In September, I started to train with Sam and reviewed everything he needed to know about my back. The workouts are challenging yet motivating, and the one on one training has taught me more about doing things right than I ever knew, this is helping me build strength without causing aggravation to my back injury. Sam is always conscious of my limitations and makes sure I'm ok, yet encourages me to push my limits and even though I am only able to go once a week I am already feeling a difference. Every week the work out is different which keeps it from being boring, and energizes my entire day!

Seraphim Personal training… I met Sam earlier this year in January to help me for getting back into shape. In March of this year I broke my arm with surgery and had to take some time off to heal. Since then in July I was cleared by my doctor to commence fitness. Sam has understood my needs and took action professionally to suit my recovery process. An exceptional outlook from Sam who understands where I needed to be after my injury. Presently Sam has came up with a plan to adapt my needs to recover and build. I am training with him again and completely trust his professional input. Through this process he has pushed me to my limits because he knows fitness and geared his program to suit my needs. I choose SPT for the location and great reviews and they are spot on! I have no confidence to go to a gym and with a daily desk job, aging and the love of golf, I want to build strength, flexibility, tone and lose some weight. I started with Sam this year when my friend recommended him. So I decided to tag along and my friend and he let me do sessions with him so I wouldn't feel uncomfortable as I always had a little uncertainty about going to the gym and or exercise classes. I immediately was put at ease by Sam. He asked in such a manor what was wrong/what I needed and I felt very comfortable relatively quick. I started working with him and my shoulder issues started to improve. I was also going to PT at the same time and I was getting more from Sam then the PT. By no means am I saying not to go to PT but Sam's thoroughness was amazing. My shoulder improved and I started to attend his "recovery" classes and I'm definitely in a better place physically. I can't thank Sam enough. I highly recommend him.

I started with Sam last May. Here's the background story. I'm a former college football player, gym rat who loved bench pressing. I started doing bench press competitions and did pretty well. I started feeling tired all of the time.....yep....heart disease. Viral cardiomyopathy. Prognosis wasnt good. I did what they told me and changed my diet etc. I made small progress and ended up getting a pacemaker/defibrillator put in. I'm 48. I kept going to the gym but I found myself feeling sorry for myself. Gained back a lot of weight and stopped watching what I ate. Got up to 307. I finally decided to stop being stubborn and asked for help. I messaged Sam and simply wrote "I need your help". He responded almost immediately. You see, Sam and I grew up in the same town and neighborhood. He immediately asked 1000 questions and we made a schedule. Since then, I've lost 40 + lbs and my diet is strict and precise and there's room for cheat meals or whatever the buzz word is these days. I am accountable to my trainer Sam. Everyday I walk through those doors at Seraphim training Sam is ready to push me, test me, all while analyzing my output and abilities. He listens to my thoughts and my knows my limits. He tests me and is conscious of my condition. My diet, supplements and program are daily and discussed on a regular basis. I can only be thankful to Sam as he has given back to me what was taken from me before I was ready for it to be taken. Do yourself a favor. Try him. You and your loved ones will be thankful. Lifesaver doesn't do him credit. Take a chance, I did. 40lbs lost later and I'm still benching heavy weights on my off days with him. Try it.

I learned it’s not necessary to put in hours a day at a gym but to balance diet, training, rest and recovery and to work muscle groups that compliment each other.
I race competitively and work out daily. Using what I learned from Sam the only thing I need to do when preparing for a race or event is to rest. I’ve had several injuries and Sam has provided each time a successful treatment plan. Bottom line is Sam is a professional and can help anyone achieve their fitness and health goals while keeping workouts fun and interesting.

Sam is an excellent trainer! He is very knowledgeable is what he does and he is there to work with you to meeting your goals. I have worked with other trainers, but never have gotten the results I have since working with Sam. The workouts can be very tough, and tiring but are well worth it! I am so happy that I have found Sam as a trainer . I just started working with Sam end of February and have gotten excellent results so far. His training facility is spotless unlike local gyms and his equipment is well maintained. Will work with you at the level you are at and motivate you to push through. Will help with anything and everything from what kind of meal plan you should be on to reach your goal, to the kinds of clothing you can wear to maximize your threshold.
