I initially signed up and decided to go on a day that wasnβt staffed. The key card would not work. I received a text message from stating β Hi Jacob,
This is Alberto from Snap Fitness. We noticed your recent access attempt was unsuccessful. As a reminder, our digital door system requires all members to complete their e-documentsβyour Membership T&C is still pending. Iβve resent it to.
Please sign at your earliest convenience. Once signed, your digital access will be fully set up! Let me know if you need help.β At this point I responded saying I no longer wanted to be a member of there was anything else I needed to do let me know. - no response - again - I did not sign anything. I then emailed stating I no longer wanted to be a member. (I tried calling, VM full, tried writing through app, no response, tried contacting through Facebook messenger no response) - they then charged me for the next month.
So not only did they keep me from using services until I signed anything (which the agreement also says I agree to recurring charges, so I did not sign) they still charged me.

Took my son 4 days to get his 24 hour key card which should've been received the same day he paid. The guy that manages the gym is rarely there for intake or tours. My son was told to pay online and come in for his key. 4 days and a "refund, please" email later he finally caught the guy and got his key. Only then, was his email from the owners answered. Once able to see what the gym had to offer, he realized it wasn't even worth it. Very little equipment available, and a very small space. Definitely not worth the over a hundred dollars he was charged. The ONLY pro to this gym is that you have 24hr access. That's it.

Tried to get ahold of staff. No staff is in the building at randomly throughout the week dispite post hours. Automated phone answering service not working and Voice mailbox is full. Gym itself has a great selection of free weights and machine weights, but getting customer service is very difficult.

My gym for the past 6 years and very handy for me whether after work or coming from home. Latest staff in Elmira is friendly and professional. Gym is always clean and well set up so no stumbling over others or equipment.

I like this gym so far, they are friendly and have nice equipment. My only complaint is the room temperature feels a little warm for working out, and they don't have a drinking fountain.

So very disappointed in customer satisfaction at snap fitness at Church and Water. No customer friendly satisfaction. I understand there are rules. The funny thing is you can sign up on line but can't cancel on line. So I understand it is suppose to be 30 days but your cancelling because you can't get there. Just saying and they take your money anyway with 2,weeks notice (would have been more if I could have gotten there).Then told the owner would contact me guess what no e mail and now they are out of the country. So when I'm ready to go back to a gym won't be snap fitness!
