I've been going to STS for almost 2 years now! And I wouldn't go to any other gym. I always feel invincible after every class/workout. The motivation and accountability is the structure I needed. It so much more than just a gym! HIGHLY recommend!

Tom does an excellent job providing everchanging daily workouts that work the entire body. Previously, i worked out on my own, mostly cardio (running/biking) - but i never worked on weight training, mostly because i did not know what to do. Joining STS was the best health decision i have made. I just show up and can expect an excellent workout using my entire body, and working out with the other members makes it seem quick & fun. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to get/stay in shape!

I love the work out, it’s tough but very well planned out. I always feel great when I leave. I always leave feeling stronger, more powerful, confident and ready to start my day. Also the people you work out with are great - lots of athletic abilities but everyone is so encouraging you can’t wait to go back.

After taking a long break from fitness, I decided to try it again. I did a google search and STS popped up as a choice. I was very nervous starting a program that I was not familiar with... but with Tom's encouragement and support I fit right in. I look forward to the workout and go 4-5 times a week. I am stronger healthier than I was in my 50's!

Over the years, I’ve had three memberships at various gyms in the area. None of them have come close to the excellent workout and results I get at STS. I’ve been a member at STS for 5 years attending 4-5 days a week. Tom always keeps the classes interesting, challenging, and fresh. Never stale! The positive, friendly atmosphere and Tom’s knowledge of fitness and nutrition keeps me coming back for more day after day. Tom is always observing the members and providing guidance when and where needed. I never thought at my age I’d be as fit as I am. I owe it all to Tom. A friend invited me to workout with her at STS while I was spending a month on vacation in the area. The workouts are great and I ended up attending 3-5 classes every week. There is a lot of variety in the exercises between cardio, weights and body weight training. The owner and trainer, Tom, is explains the exercises well and I loved the sense of community at the gym. I've been going 3-5 times a week for a year and I can't recommend Sobotor enough. I'm visibly stronger and leaner and every time I go, I feel fantastic for the rest of the day. Tom is super easy going and encouraging - he meets people at whatever they are at and builds from there. He is also fitness savant - incredibly knowledgeable about physiology and remembers the goals and abilities of every single person in class. The community is also amazing - funny, nice people in all classes. If you've been wanting to go to the gym or have tried and not been able to keep it up, this is the place. Pick a time slot and show up - within a month you'll be hooked. Do it!

From the couch to the podium! Whether you're looking for over-all health and fitness or you have specific athletic (or wedding-ready) goals in mind, Tom can get you there. As a former national champion racer (I say this to make a point, not as bravado) I can assure anyone who spends a few days with Tom, he can do what no trainer can do. Nor does he charge trainer prices. Yes, the first week you will hate him. Loathe him. Curse him. But by week four of attending his group sessions you will admire him. Thank him. Trust him. His deep well of science knowledge and his ability to treat each member as an individual with unique goals and challenges ensures you make Tom part of your everyday routine. Having spent huge sums of money on training in my previous racing life, I can honestly say I have taken away more from Tom's brain than the handful of "trainers" who worked with me for a decade. I have managed to pass along enough praises to get those around me to join, including my wife, coworker, sister in law, brother in law and my kid's friend's parents. All of them hated me for those first weeks. I said, "Blame Tom!"And now they can't imagine a day without STS. In fact, next month my three children will start working with Tom to improve balance and safety protocols for something as basic as rec sports. Finally worth noting, I've never asked for or have expected a discount for referring friends and family. Because I feel it's my duty to turn people on to something that will have a positive, life-long impact!

After a year into my STS journey, I can confidently say this gym has everything you need: strength training, HIIT, circuit and aerobic workouts – all w/o the fear and intimidation of CrossFit or the boredom that comes with open gyms.
Tommy is by far the most knowledgeable fitness coach I’ve encountered, never missing the nutrition component as well. The class format provides group motivation (and fun!) while still letting you work on your individualized goals.
As someone who has always worked out – STS has truly changed the way I look at overall wellness and what it means to have a healthy lifestyle.

STS is the highlight of my day! Not many gym coaches are capable of fostering an atmosphere where its clients feel comfortable, yet challenged - but Tom has mastered it! For years I’ve been going to the local gym, I could never stick with it, I always needed that extra push. I’m overweight, eating habits aren’t healthy and I could definitely see it taking a toll on my body. Few months ago I decided to do a trial week at STS. From the second I walked in the door, Tom made me feel like I belonged there. Although classes are done in a group setting Tom still finds a way to make sure he’s paying attention to everyone participating. Joining STS was honestly the best decision of my life. I’ve only been there a few months but I can honestly see slow improvements and it’s rewarding. If you’re looking to make a change for the better but just need that extra push, support and motivation…STS is the place for you. Also, don’t let the fear of not being on the same level as other people stop you from trying it out. I’m not an athlete or a person who works out regularly so it’s not easy to walk into a gym and get it done. It can be intimidating for many reasons. The thought of trying to keep up with everyone and knowing that you can’t keep up makes it hard to even want to step foot in a gym. A member of STS convinced me to give it a try so I did. And I’m so happy that I listened to her. It’s soooo good. I felt welcomed from the start. Tom is awesome and so are all of the members that I have met so far. Everyone is so encouraging and willing to help out. The workouts are actually fun! Anyone who reads this and is hesitant to join, just try it. I promise you won’t regret it. You won’t feel weird or out of place. It’s really a nice place to spend a little part of your day. 😊

I could not have found a better gym. I had a love/hate relationship with the gym, when I found the motivation to go I would be at a loss of what to do. At STS I look forward to every workout planned out ahead of time by Tom. He goes through each workout and explains the benefits and the proper technique for exercise. He is extremely accommodating to any ailments or concerns you have. The environment is always positive and upbeat and the STS family is always encouraging to do you best.

I've been a member since the gym opened in 2016. I attend the 8am class. Classes change daily, are well explained and the owner/trainer works to help each client, encouraging, correcting form and modifying as necessary. We have become a family at the gym, too. The mood is always positive and upbeat. I can't imagine training anywhere else in the Warwick area.

STS offers a great variety of workout class options to meet the needs of those who want to workout but are on different schedules; they have mornings, evenings and weekend classes available. Its a “no judgement” zone and everyone in the gym offers help, assitance, motivation and support. You will never feel out of place or nervous to ask a question on how to complete a move. Tom is a great coach who will work with you if you have any areas of concern. He is always available to discuss your needs and will help tailor an approach that works for you. I highly recommend STS gym to everyone. It is a gym for all! Age doesn’t matter here. A 70 year old can do the same workout as a 10 year old and vise versa. Tom puts a workout on the board and we go. Each workout is tough but fun and sometimes entertaining 😁 Even though we are all working out at the same time, Tom is right there to personally train you. He is very informative and is constantly learning more and more ways to challenge us. He also teach us about our bodies, the way our bodies move and how our muscles work and about nutrition. We are not just a gym, we are a family. You get to know the people you work out with and we care about each other. Tom brings us all together with tough, challenging workouts but is always encouraging us to do our best. In the end we might not think we can do it, but Tom knows we can!
