Renee is the best fitness instructor I've ever had! Her upbeat attitude and encouragement make the class go by so fast! I was also sore for days!!

the majority of coaches have the perfect balance of being supportive/encouraging and challenging, pushing me to stay in the work just a little longer every time, even when I don't think I can, and I always end up surprising myself! highly HIGHLY encourage you to look for Laura P., Emily M., and Keon H.'s classes, they are my three faves at the Soho location :)

It feels like a community as soon as I enter the studio. Once I pick my machine, I can leave all the stress of the day behind and focus on my body and how much stronger it gets after every class, which still humbles me each and every time.

Receptionist on Wednesday 3/26 at 10am was incredibly rude to me. She should not be in a customer facing role at this company.
After calling multiple times in advance to say I would be a couple minutes late, she assured me it would be fine if I arrived within the 5 minute grace period. I did, I arrived 2 minutes late. When I got there, she berated me saying that she asked the instructor who said I couldn’t come in because it was my first time with Solidcore. If it’s the instructors choice, fine, but from there how this woman handled it was up to her (she handled it poorly).
Keep in mind, I had commuted 30 minutes to make it to this class, and it was something I was looking forward to trying.
Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.
When I asked it they could provide me a class credit, she said that since I booked through a third party, there was nothing they could do. I asked for the manager to contact me, she said she would, and several days later, I have heard nothing. It was not just the lack of policy communication for first timers, but the nasty way this woman handled it which left a bad taste in my mouth and ruined my impression of the Solidcore enterprise, that they would hire people this nasty. I will not be giving Solidcore any more of my money or time and I hope others don’t reward this location with their business.

First timer refused entry to class for not wearing “athletic outfit”, trainers here got attitudes like Marie Antoinette.

No information on grace period - in the email they sent they did not mention anything about this. I arrived 6 MINUTES LATE and the receptionist kept me and wont let me in and she kept talking for 5 minutes straight you can just let me in while the class just started after the 5 mins period. I tried to call earlier saying that my train is delay NO REFUND because I booked through ClassPass??? And NO RESECHEDULE. Straight out very rude and I LITERALLY WALKED OUT OF THE DOOR AFTER RUNNING there and left my friend in the class. You just lose a customer. NEVER COME BACK

When I arrived, I was already three minutes late. I just wanted to quickly change my clothes, but the receptionist asked me many questions besides my name. I understand these are questions the instructor would normally ask before class, but it clearly wasted another two minutes of my time. By the time I got changed and entered the room, the receptionist told me I was already five minutes late and could not join the session. I checked the time, and I was about eight minutes late. What I can't understand is why the receptionist didn't tell me right when I came in that I had to change within two minutes or simply say I was too late to attend, instead of asking me a bunch of questions like how many classes I've taken, any injuries I have, etc. to waste my time, and then telling me after I get changed that I can't attend the class.

I’m new to SolidCore but am so in. The workouts are insane and make me sore in the best way. Also, the instructors have all been great. Laura keeps it fun, makes me laugh (double ab workout), and has a great balance of pushing us to do our best, but also acknowledging everyone’s level and ability. Good job!

Good workout, but the instructor randomly turned the music volume ridiculously high midway through the workout. It's the day after and my ears are still hurting. I don't want to get long-term hearing damage so I won't be coming back.

By far the worst solidcore experience I've had — will definitely avoid this location in the future and tell everyone I know to do the same.
I arrived for class only to learn that the instructor (Cole) had overbooked the class (he had moved someone from a previous class into this class) so there were no more machines available.
Because there were no other staff members available to help at the location, the coach hastily pushed us to take a class later on in the day in order to get his class started.
Location-wise, the machines are incredibly cramped, with very little space to move around. Most of the other locations I've been to in the city are much more spacious.
If you're looking for a solidcore studio, I'd strongly suggest another location.

I encourage all fitness enthusiasts to check out Solidcore! Starting Pilates here has been a total game changer and I definitely feel like my core has gotten stronger after just a few classes. It’s the most intense low impact workout I’ve ever done in my life, and I walk out of each class feeling amazing.
Jacob is an amazing instructor. He’s full of energy, passionate, kind, and will help walk you through the motions as a beginner.

INTENSE WORKOUT. Solidcore is pilates with the intensity of a bootcamp. The instructors bounce from one move to the next so try to follow your classmates. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who has never been on a reformer. The studio is modern and clean but there are no showers. Go before work at your own risk because you will definitely sweat. I included a photo of the entrance because the front door is covered by the decal and you can ignore that touch pad.
