I went here on a week pass. There are some negative reviews from a few years ago, but I have not seen anything that they are talking about. The machines are all mostly new and very clean. It’s a variety of mostly hammer strength and precor machines, incline, flat, and decline barbell bench press, tons of plates, dumbbells up to 150lb in 5lb increments, squad rack, bumper plates, everything you would need. The gym is usually not very busy and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Went here for a day pass on 12/26 and the gym is great. Excellent equipment, great dumbbells, multiple squat racks. This will be my go-to gym when I’m out in the Hamptons

This place is dope. I use the day passes when I’m in town and am always pleased by what’s available.

Very average gym for a ridiculous monthly charge. The sauna has been out of order for months. And the men's changing room occasionally has a Trump rally in it

I'd avoid unless you fit into this crowd

This place completely sucks. Such a poor management. Last year called Southampton gym several times in order to cancel my membership and was directed to send an email with cancellation request which I did. With no response. So I went there in person and was assured my email was accepted and membership was canceled. A year passed now and I found out they sent my account to collections since they never canceled my membership. 🤯
I haven’t received any emails or mail from the Hamptons Gym. Sent them many emails with no response.
I can’t believe this is happening. I guess they are really struggling if they don’t respond to numerous cancellations requests just to charge fee extra dollars

Listing below,

-Hours are not great, especially weekends

-Sauna has been closed for over a year at the Southampton location yet is open at the Sag Harbor location.

-What seems ridiculous is the fact that we are not yet allowed to bring in guests because of Covid yet every other gym is currently allowing this. Seems like money grab, especially since the day passes are $40 a day.

-Gym membership comes with only one guest day pass a month and does not stack over the course of the year which is ridiculous as well.

-The men's locker room at the Southampton location does not look great and one of the urinals have been broken for almost a year.

-The Southampton location does not have a spin cycle within the cardio area which is crazy not to have. Being a member you are not even allowed to use the cycles located on the 2nd floor of the gym.

-The heating and cooling is never inconsistent especially during the summertime

-The fact that they don't try to alleviate these issues knowing well that they are the only gym that us locals have within the area.

-In general the gym membership is quite expensive for what is provided, they could easily keep the same price yet provide more benefit like additional guest passes and the use of other locked off spaces within the gym to entice more cliental.

Hours are not great... Unfortunately the gym closes at 8:30pm during the week and 7pm on the weekends. If you work until late you won't find this gym very practical. Hoping the go back to pre-covid hours which were much better.

At the cost they charge you, would expect to get a gym comparable to Equinox. It has the same amenities as planet fitness, but at seven times the monthly cost. Always too hot inside, the employees look miserable and have attitudes, machines never look cleaned and are poorly maintained, and either they don’t have towels or are rationing them out. I can’t speak for the women’s locker room, but the men’s smells disgusting.

Only 1 squat rack / platform

Otherwise, great gym and equipment. Eleiko plates on a nice platform, chalk, DBs up to 150, hip thruster, GHD, 2 assault bikes, 1 assault treadmill, Jacob's Ladder, great warm-up area with foam rollers, PVC, ab wheel, boxes, etc.

Drop-in rate is pricey at $40/day

Such a dirt gym, I’ve never been so disappointed. Disgusting for it to be in Southampton. I rather drive a couple of miles more and for to core fitness in Watermill.
The steam rooms at the southampton gym stink like pea, you can see slimy things and hair on the floor, my whole bathroom stunk for a while week. When i tried to cancel my membership they gave me a hard time, even though they are at fault for having such a run down gym.
I will NEVER set a foot on that place. Do not recommend it at all.

They just improved the machines here, so you're working with great equipment. Small gym - but it has all of the essentials to get a great workout on the way out to the Hamptons.
