As Frances Gonzalez from Vegan Wines I will share this in my personal life, I can’t recommend Marisa Caccamo at Stone Wave Yoga enough! Her yoga classes and workshops are absolutely transformative. I attended her yoga/oil/art workshop, and it was such a unique and rejuvenating experience. Marisa’s deep knowledge of essential oils, her creative approach to yoga, and her genuine care for her students truly set her apart. As someone who values balance and mindfulness in both my business and personal life, I love this yoga studio and everything Marisa brings to it. Highly recommend!

I felt relaxed and rejuvenated when Marisa Caccamo held an event at Stone Wave Yoga in Gardiner, NY. We did a Yin Yoga session, used, learned, and tasted essential oils from doTERRA Essential Oils USA, had fun with artwork outside, and left as if we were saying see you later to close friends. I look forward to seeing Marisa there again in the future. Thank you to the owner, Liz, for always welcoming us as we are. There's no better way to feel. xoxoxo

I would give more stars if I could, but instead, here are some kind words about the beautiful teachers at Stone Wave.

I initially met Marissa Caccamo prior to her joining Stone Wave, and I assure you, she knows ALL things aromatherapy. She has a comforting and caring presence, and you know that you are both seen and heard. Follow her direction, lean into your senses, and let the yoga mat hold you.

Arianna Noble has the voice of an angel! Her classes have a beautiful flow and end with her sweet serenade. The Poughkeepsie location is blessed to have her now three times a week, and you will leave feeling restored.

Lastly, Sofia Mahmood, Jen Puleo, and Kara Prichard, with their Hot 26... you forget how hot the room is as they share their words of wisdom with their own unique little twists.

As I was writing this review I realized that I could not leave out Anne Roberts, with her warm smile, and Bridget Marrine, and her creative flows.

I could really keep writing....

I absolutely love these doTERRA essential oils! The quality is exceptional, and the scents are so pure and long-lasting. They’ve made a noticeable difference in my daily routine, from relaxation to improving focus. I use them at The Shake and Grind in my juices and smoothies . I recently had the pleasure of working with Marisa Caccamo who guided me through the world of doTERRA Essential Oils. Her deep expertise and thoughtful recommendations were instrumental in helping me address my longstanding sleep issues and improve my overall health. I’m a physical therapist and Marisa Caccamo and I have been working together for about a month. One day we were working together and she noticed that I had some scratches on my hand from my new kitten. That same day my hand started feeling so much better and healed a lot faster than it had in the past! She is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend working with her.

I took my first class at stone wave last night with Sam and it was exactly what I needed. Her pace and techniques for the class I took was perfect for what I was looking for. I definitely plan to return. The facility is in a nice location and clean and tidy. The only negative i can think of is that I called 2 days to try to see if classes were open with the snow we had, and nobody answers the phone or has it forwarded to someone who can. (I almost drove out one night when they decided to cancel class because of the incoming weather that hadn't started yet) They did respond promptly to fb message though. Overall this was really enjoyable and would reccomend them

This summer, my girlfriends and I had a nice weekend getaway in the New Paltz area. We wanted to have a peaceful and restorative yoga session on our last morning of the trip, and Stone Wave Yoga sure delivered! Liz came to our rental and was able to socially distance while leading us beginners through a wonderful yoga session. Her session was challenging, but not too difficult, and was perfectly in tune with nature that surrounded us. She was excellent at communicating leading up to the visit and excellent at cuing during the session. Best of all, the session was affordable for our group-- I often find that some studios are prohibitively expensive, which only makes yoga feel inaccessible. Instead, this experience left us feeling included and refreshed.

The Stone Wave event space was the perfect place for a casual dinner party for 25 of my colleagues. While I don't live in upstate NY, I go there often to visit friends and take my 2 daughters along (ages 5 and 9). When we are in Gardiner, we always swing by Stone Wave Yoga for classes and community events. We (my girls included) love the property. Amazing views of the country-side and mountain range. Peaceful environment and very quiet. The facility and landscape truly inspires our "inner peace" and makes us feel calmer the moment we pull into the lot. I personally could spend the day sitting on the floor of the main yoga room and just zone out enjoying the scenic views.

The staff are awesome, personable and inviting - I always feel welcome. I highly recommend Stone Wave Yoga - check out the classes, the events, or just visit the space and chat with the owner if you want some stress to melt away. An incredible property for private events as well - very open, and again, a view to die for!

Visually stunning interior and exterior, just being in this space is soothing to one's inner being. The aesthetic of the entire property is a pleasure to experience, perfect for a special event of ones' own and an amazing backdrop for the numerous workshops which Liz hosts at Stone Wave. The yoga classes have a wide range, from beginner to advanced and everyone is welcome, which sincerely reflects Liz's motto of "come as you are" . When I pull into Stone Wave for; yoga, meditation, or a community event, I immediately feel transportated into a sanctuary, even the parking area is surrounded by topiary art by local landscape designer and co-owner, Kieth Buesing. The instructors here are sincere, friendly and that puts everyone at ease. This is a world class yoga studio and gem to have in our rural town at the foot of the Shawangunk cliffs, which are my drishti point during class. If you have an interest in yoga, wellness or are looking for a unique and beautiful place to host your own event in the Mid-Hudson Valley, I highly recommend that you visit Stone Wave for yourself to see how special this place is! I absolutely love this wellness center!! My most recent experience was attending a weekend long Yin & Restorative Yoga certificate course. Liz and Nikki are amazing instructors sharing their immense knowledge of yin yoga. The class was inviting and nurturing and filled with educational moments which is the perfect way to expand my teaching and personal practice! I really appreciated the anatomy lesson along with the hands on approach to teaching. Being with a diverse group of students was super fun and enriching. It is always nice hearing different viewpoints and learning about others ideas and values.
I was able to house super close to the facility and was even served a beautiful vegetarian lunch two days in a row! This certification also allowed me to gain in person CEUs for my Yoga Alliance membership.

I was recently visiting the New Paltz area from Philly for a weekend getaway with my husband and enjoyed two of the best yoga classes of my life at Stone Wave Yoga! The vinyasa classes I took with Lisa and Liz were unparallelled. First, when you walk into the studio, you'll be transported to one of the most peaceful, serene, and beautiful environments. Nestled along the mountain views outside (which you'll enjoy through the huge glass walls surrounding the studio), the inside of the studio is beautifully appointed, super clean, and inviting. They offer tea/coffee in the kitchen, have two nice size studio spaces, and a very clean bathroom. All of this is made even more inviting by the great vibes and inviting personalities of the instructors and owner. Not only were they super friendly and very skilled/experienced teachers, they were beyond fabulous about teaching the class to different levels. Both of the classes were super unique with some sequences I've not had the pleasure of enjoying in other classes I've taken, and they did a great job of helping to cue modifications and alterations for each person to tailor the poses to their skills and body needs. I cannot say enough great things about this experience! These classes made my weekend! My husband and I will definitely visit the area again...in part, so that I can go back to Stone Wave Yoga!

I attended a weekend workshop on Yin yoga at Stone Wave yoga and it was very informative. This is the second workshop I have taken at Stone Wave yoga, the first one was on arm balances. In each one, i received excellent instruction and extensive knowledge on the subject. Taking Yin yoga expanded my knowledge and understanding of what Yin yoga is and has to offer to new or experienced students and yoga teachers.

After a two decade break from yoga, I attended a class at Stone Wave a year ago upon a friend’s recommendation, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The instructors are outstanding and the venue is spectacular.

The first time I walked in I was welcomed with smiles and warmth and it has been the same every time since that 1st day. The instructors do a wonderful job offering options to accommodate injuries and levels of experience. No matter what the season - the view from the studio is amazing and always inspires a sense of peace.

Possibly my favorite yoga studio in the area. Liz and her fellow instructors are so welcoming, knowledgeable, and make you feel capable of strength, mindfulness, focus and a sense of all encompassing well-being. There are a diverse range of classes and times offered throughout the week and special events focused to all. To top off all the positivity this studio exudes, the view of the Gunks as you practice is like none other!

Stone Wave opened its doors a month after I moved to Gardiner and has been my sanctuary ever since! The welcoming and peaceful atmosphere helped me stay grounded during a time of transition, and the stunning view of the ridge reminds me over and over why I moved here. The variety of classes gives me something different to look forward to every day of the week. Such a truly special place!

From the first time I walked into this studio I felt very welcomed. I've tried other studios prior to coming here just to see which was a good fit for me and Stone Wave Yoga by far exceeds the other places. Besides the breathtaking views, what sold me was the welcoming vibe of the instructors and the amazing variety of classes. I always feel comfortable when I walk through the door, that's why I became a member. I love this studio.

I checked out this studio for a nice way to start my Sunday and I am SO happy I came. I wish I had discovered this place sooner. It was a very welcoming environment which is one of the first things I look for in a studio space. I felt comfortable and encouraged to go at my own pace. The class was booked but everyone was friendly and made space. Plenty of mats and material. The space itself is beautiful and I can't wait to take more classes in the summer time. The big windows provide lots of natural light and beautiful scenery. Deff worth your time.

I attended the Breast feeding circle this past week. It was a breathe of fresh air to share space with mamas who are going through similar situations as myself. The women running the class are so sweet and informative. I will definitely be making this part of my weekly routine.

The studio space is fantastic - open, clean, well-lit, etc. But I especially enjoy its view of the ridge during a class. Looking up to the ridge seeing its rocks, trees, or even movement from wildlife or wind makes a visit to Stone Wave feel like unique treat.

This place has become an important part of my life as well as my daughter's life. Awesome classes and great teachers. I am a novice with some physical issues, and all are more than willing to work with me. They do community outreach as well. Connected to an art studio called Sunflower Studios, they hold kids programs and summer camp! A beautiful space, you can even book private events there. With a stunning view of the ridge, this place is worth your time. I love it. You will too.

Welcoming, warm yoga studio with the MOST AMAZING views! I have been happy to call Stone Wave Yoga, my yoga studio for the past year. I was relatively new to yoga a year ago and I wasn't quite sure if it was for me. Long story short - I go to yoga class every day and have been since the day I first came to Stone Wave. The quality of the teachers at Stone Wave are first rate - all of them bring different, amazing qualities to their classes. There are classes for everyone and every skill level. If you are thinking of taking a yoga class, I can't think of a better place . Plus - the VIEW!!

This yoga studio has changed my life and enabled me to integrate yoga as a regular practice. The studio is absolutely gorgeous and looks out over the famous GUNKS (Shawangunk Cliffs) that the New Paltz/Gardiner area is so famous for. I feel as though the space as become my sanctuary and offers me physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Liz, the owner, is a Goddess. Her energy is authentic, positive, and welcoming. She has a wide range of price offerings from 5-class packs, 10-class packs, monthly and yearly memberships that are very affordable. They offer a wide range of classes for adults and children. I especially love their Hot HIIT and Weekend Warrior classes. The instructors are professional, warm, helpful and inclusive, allowing everyone to come as they are and feel as though they belong. They also offer amazing art classes for children, special workshops for adults/families, special events, and a gorgeous rental space (complete with a small kitchen) for private events, retreats and parties. I hosted a birthday party there and my guests loved the indoor space, the beautiful outdoor space/fire pit and the gorgeous views. I am forever grateful for Stone Wave!

I'm not much of a yoga person but decided to try a class at Stone Wave. The atmosphere is warm, calm and inviting. I didn't feel intimidated or overwhelmed being a yoga "newbie." Stone Wave has a sign that reads "Come as you are," it's a wonderful phrase and they live up to it! I highly recommend and will definitely return!!!
