I’ve been working with Dani at Strength Beyond the Barbell for almost two and a half years now, and honestly:
1) I wish I started sooner.
2) I’ll never stop!
Dani is truly the best in the business when it comes to fitness, nutrition, and overall health. I first came to her in June 2023 after years of gut issues (and the mindset struggles that come with them). From day one, she was thoughtful, compassionate, knowledgable, and intentional; creating a plan that focused on small, realistic habits instead of overwhelming me with a complete overhaul. That’s what made it stick.
As things evolved, Dani continued to adjust my plan, educate me, and meet me exactly where I was. Working with her, and the SBTB team, has been so much more than just “getting in shape.” It’s been a complete mindset shift around food, health, and balance.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dani and SBTB to anyone ready to make lasting changes. If you get the opportunity to work with them, take it, it’ll be one of the best decisions you make for yourself. 💪

As a 44-year-old man who’s struggled with weight, fitness, and health my entire life, I can’t recommend Strength Beyond The Barbell enough! Working with Dani as my nutrition coach for over a year has completely transformed me. She met me exactly where I was, cutting through all the poor fad diet information and giving me the tools I needed to make the changes I wanted to see. With her guidance, all provided remotely through online coaching, I’ve lost 70 pounds, built muscle, and reached a fitness level I never thought possible, to the point where people no longer recognize me. My asthma, elevated blood pressure, inflammation, and allergies are virtually gone, all through a balanced diet and following my macros. Dani’s quick responses, accountability, and personalized approach—making small changes with huge impacts—kept me motivated and on track. She is incredibly knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions I have.
The Strength Beyond The Barbell app is fantastic—easy to use, with effective and engaging workouts—it takes the guesswork out of your daily exercise routine. I've had the privilege of being coached, trained and rehabbed by Peter and Francesco for quite some time. Their dynamic and unique skill set coupled with their authentic and sincere approach to coaching, programming and rehabilitation set them apart from everyone else. They are a one-stop shop for everything health and wellness. Peter and Francesco helped me become the absolute best version of myself. This past April at 54 years-old I entered and won my first competition where I set a state and nation record for my age and weight class in the federation I completed in. What's remarkable about it is just moths prior I suffered from a significant back injury. Peter and Francesco did not let this injury derail my dreams. I have had the pleasure of personal training with Cali for a few years now. I enjoyed her so much that I followed her from another gym just to work with her! If you are looking for a group of guys who can inspire you to push yourself mentally and physically to not only meet but exceed your goals, these are the guys to talk to. I have personally been able to work Francesco which has not only spent time giving me a detailed program to maximize my time in the gym that fits around my schedule but he also provides an explanation as to why we do certain workouts and why we do X amount of each. I am someone who won’t buy in unless I have an understanding as to what it will help and why we do it. Francesco’s was able to answer every question I could think of and provided more information than I could ask. Best decision I could have made was joining them!

Francesco is definitely a person you want to engage with! He listens, understands what you want and at the same time he explains what you need to get to your goal. He works to your strengths while working on your weaknesses. In talking with him I got a strong impression he really loves his profession.
Also his exercise program is extremely detailed. Everything is organized and broken down. Can’t remember how to perform an exercise? He has video’s linked in the program showing how to perform set exercise.
He utilizes and mixes old school exercises with new science based exercises. I found this to be very useful! This enhanced my overall experience with Francesco as my trainer.

Coach Peter is amazing, and I feel lucky that our paths crossed. He has superior skill, knowledge, and truly cares about his clients. Dealing with a long term physical injury that had been elusive in finding solutions, Peter’s training methods cross the application of someone needing to continue recovery while developing new patterns of exercise movement. Dani has been my nutrition coach for 8 months now as well as a huge motivation for my new found enjoyment with going to the gym. My husband and I have been working with Dani individually for 13 months and can’t say enough about the experience. The programming is all tailored to you and your goals. Before I started with SBB a year ago I had an unrelated lower back strain from several years ago that kept rearing its head prior to joining, and from the very start Dani ensured literally every step of the way that we were doing certain movement in a very strategic purposeful way so as to keep me from re-injury while also gaining strength week by week- I was blown away by her guidance, attention, care, and creativity. I also see Coach Cali from time to time if I need to move my schedule around and she too is top notch and walks the walk; she knows her stuff, lays out the workout segment by segment and always offers specific appropriate cues to remind you of where your focus is. Fantastic. I highly recommend Strength Beyond the Barbell whether you are new to training or a seasoned athlete, young or mid-life.

Dani has created a great environment in both physical offerings/cleanliness and atmosphere. She is incredibly knowledgeable about nutrition and how to help people reach their goals. Coach Cam is incredibly attentive and supportive. Though I work with him for remote coaching, he keeps his hand on the pulse of how my work outs go. Dani is one of the most knowledge and skilled strength coaches out there, both in and out of the weight room. She expands the aspect of "fitness" to be more than just the physical and always lead by example. She's supportive and always there for any questions her clients have! Any of the programs that she designs for you are actually for YOU! She's been great of tailoring the workout and session depending on how you're feeling
I went in for some critique on form and other areas of improvements to help me with my endurance training. The gym was clean, easy to find, right next to the metro north, and welcoming for a 1:1 or group setting..
It's recommended to reach out and book an appointment. Once that's done, she's extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra step for you. Not to mention that she can think of just about any modification for any exercise to help you improve and really get your performance to the next level!

I have known Dani for 5+ years and have had the pleasure of working with her for a few years as well. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and professional in her craft, but she has something that most fitness professionals and business owners do not have and that is that she truly cares for her clients, their goals, their achievements, and their well-being. You can teach a lot of things, but genuine care you can not. If you are looking for a training facility for yourself or your child, I can't recommend a place in the lower Westchester area more than Strength Beyond the Barbell. This place is the total package for services provided and delivering professionalism and results.

Dani was a HUGE part of my journey in gaining confidence in the gym during my college days! As a plus size athlete, it was tough to feel confident and want to build muscle as I felt it would make me just look bigger.
