My experience as a member was great, with the stretches being quite helpful. However I had to cancel my membership and first attempted to do so over a month ago - since then management has ignored me (I called several times, texted and emailed). They finally agreed to cancel my membership and confirmed that I would not receive further charges. Today I just received a charge on my credit card again and management is still ignoring me. This place is waiting for a class action lawsuit.

This location is a bit out of the way for me but I make the trip because Parker is an amazing flexoligist. He is passionate and studies his craft knowing all sorts of specifics about the human body. Every time I go I leave feeling as light as a feather. Also, each session has something new he's constantly learning and keeping my body on its toes. The facility is super clean and has a great amount of natural light such a pleasant experience everytime!

Unfortunately I must also give Stretch Lab a One Star review. While the stretches themselves were great and my interactions with the staff were all pleasant, the process for canceling my membership was a nightmare.
After having some sessions canceled and having to cancel my own sessions because I was sick or busy, I decided I wanted to cancel my membership. I was paying $219 per month for 4 sessions and was not using them. I emailed to cancel as I was instructed on the website. After waiting a few days and not receiving a response, I emailed again. Still no response. When I called, I was told that I needed to come in person when a sales manager was available to cancel. The entire reason I canceled was because I was not able to make time to go and now I had to come in person to cancel?! And the stretchers were able to register me and take my credit card information but were not able to cancel my membership?
I enjoyed by experience but I will not be a returning customer given these absurd rules on canceling my membership.

I once gave this location a glowing review, but that was under different management. After seeing similar concerns raised by others on this review board, I feel it’s important to share my experience.
During my year as a member, the location went through four managers. Two of them were absolutely wonderful—accommodating and client-focused. However, when Xavier took over, everything changed. Canceling my membership became an unnecessarily difficult process, filled with miscommunication, delays, and excuses. Despite providing proof that I was not at fault for the miscommunication, even sharing screenshots of the text message exchanges with the front desk, Xavier repeatedly stalled or ignored my emails. If he did get back to me, he would say, "I’ll have to check with my superiors to see what I can do," suggesting that some kind of accommodation would be coming that would benefit me. Meanwhile, another month would pass, and I’d be auto-charged for another set of sessions I couldn’t afford or use due to my change in circumstances. And I would hear nothing about what he said he was going to "look into." Ultimately, I lost $1,200, and the entire ordeal caused me significant stress and anxiety.
It’s a shame because the flexologists are great, and StretchLab as a practice offers valuable services. But the contract games are absurd, and Xavier’s management makes this location a risky commitment. On multiple occasions, I had to explicitly say, "Please respect my boundaries. I wish to cancel," only to be repeatedly pressured into justifying my decision and explaining myself to him before I could make any kind of progress.
Save yourself the frustration, and go to a different location.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the only way to get a call back/response from StretchLab. First I want to say that Ana is great and really helped me out a ton!! It's unfortunate that I will never go back, due to there politics on trying to cancel a membership. If you read through the reviews you will see I am not the only one with this issue. I tried canceling online but they tell you to call. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone!! So they want to charge me $20 pause fee plus $375+ for classes I have not used! My plan was to do 3 months on and 3 months off but that has now changed and they lost an overall happy customer. So for about $400 of pettiness due to there politics and no one answering the phone...they lost $1,000's in future classes.
They should have set times where someone is there to answer a phone. Those hours should be posted and left on there voicemail as well when you call.
If you read through my reviews you will see I rarely post bad reviews...but buyer beware, don't purchase the membership do it session by session or you'll end up in the same boat....

Having the opportunity to go to Stretch Lab has been a game changer for my mental and physical health. I am so confident that the work I do here is keeping me moving fluidly and I feel stronger and more healthful. I tell them that this is my pro aging therapy and for me that is everything.

I love my weekly sessions at Stretch lab! I have been coming here weekly for about a year and a half. Today I stretched with Thomas and I left there feeling relaxed and calm which is exactly what I needed. Usually Parker works with me. They have been working on me for months and always help me with my lower body, especially during softball season and lengthy Peloton challenges when my legs are in need of extra love. I highly recommend Stretchlab Rye Brook, it will help you feel younger!

This place is life-changing. I’ve been a client for 18 months. First I eliminated chronic back problems. Next I got rid of neck strain from working over a keyboard and staring at the computer screen all day. After that, I increased my mobility- and with it the effectiveness of my strength workouts and ultimately my confidence. These stretches have become part of my weekly routine. I even prefer it over weekly massages because over time these improve range of motion, mobility, and balance. Veronika is masterful in her approach, and has extensive education and experience. With her genuine concern for her clients, you know you are in good hands.

Veronika is amazing: professional, friendly, and caring. She has increased my flexibility and mobility, improving my quality of life. Done consistently, these sessions help get the most out of strength and cardio exercise to avoid injury and develop full range of motion. The stretches continually progress from month to month so I will be a client for a long time!

As a fencer, flexibility and mobility are crucial to my performance, and I can honestly say that StretchLab has been a game-changer for me. I started training there about two years ago, and the difference it’s made in my body mechanics and recovery has been incredible. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and understands the specific needs of athletes and what places might need improvement in mobility. Their personalized stretching sessions have not only improved my flexibility but have also my agility and reduced the risk of injuries. I’m able to move more fluidly and recover faster from intense training sessions. StretchLab has become an essential part of my routine, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone serious about their athletic performance, whether you're a fencer or any other type of athlete.

A good friend recommended this place for post-workout relief, and I was pleasantly surprised. The stretches are incredibly effective, far surpassing what I experienced with my Massage Therapist. Xavier not only scheduled my first session but also explained the process thoroughly. His professionalism and knowledge, along with the consistent support from him and the staff, have made every visit great. Now, both my daughter and I are loyal clients!

If you’re looking for a top-notch stretch experience, StretchLab in Rye Brook, NY, is the place to be! The staff here is absolutely incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you move and feel your best. I’ve worked with Parker, Natalie, Lauren and Sydney but mostly with Parker and all are extraordinary with their stretching techniques. Each stretch session is personalized, and they always seem to know exactly how to target those tight spots you didn’t even realize were holding you back.
Secondly, I am a Master Health Coach. Stretching also needs to be paired with a well balanced lifestyle regulating fitness, wellness, nutrition, sleep and stress management. That being said, all patrons of StretchLab are entitled to a 15% discount off of my coaching packages (last photo shown). Hope to hear from you soon! 💪🏼🥗
Furthermore, there are some reviews referring to bad business and sourness, etc— that is absolutely false. Xavier is very helpful, resourceful and compassionate. Don’t listen to the people sipping on Haterade and work with a Flexologist at StretchLab Rye Brook today! 🤙🏼

I started my journey with StretchLab when I was 3-4 months pregnant and continued my sessions until a week before birth. Due to these sessions, I had a pain free pregnancy! I have an inflammation issue which tends to cause significant pain, so it was a huge surprise to me to see how much these sessions truly helped. Everyone is very friendly and caring. Lauren and Natalie are great at what they do! I’ve always had a pleasant experience when going to StretchLab.

UPDATE: as the person who responded said they would have someone contact me. That someone again was Xavier. The convo did not go well. He asked what it would take for this review to come down and then told me I was being “unreasonable”
Then he said his proposal he would need to get approved. This was on New Year’s Eve around 3pm. I told him to just have that person call me directly in Jan 2nd. He asked if they could call today. I said no as I was heading out. Jan 2 came and went and on Jan 3 after 6pm he called me back and scolded me for asking why his boss didn’t call me back as requested.
Again I have nothing but good things to say for the therapists but the way he runs things and the fact he doesn’t actually listen to people is awful. Pair that with the fact they have predatory contract details and I cannot ever suggest going here. Check out the vital stretch. That is where I have moved to and I cannot wait to forget Xavier and this place ever existed.
Great therapists but horrible business practices.
I was one of the original subscription sign ups when they first opened. I loved the stretching and felt good. Over time my schedule has changed making it harder to fulfill the subscription and even get there.
They ran a sale for Black Friday for class packs. I figured great- I’d buy a pack and cancel my subscription. Gives me more flexibility- costs more per stretch but works for my schedule.
Well you cannot cancel without going in person or sending a certified letter. So over the holidays I wasn’t able to get there- then my kid has RSV, then walking pneumonia , then my other kid got sick. Now holiday parties then I’m traveling for 3 weeks of Jan for work. Been in email contact for weeks and got no where.
In addition when I called about my class packs inquired about getting my wife a pack as a present- so the sales person called her and tried to sell her.
Overall great stretches but horrible business practices. I now have zero interest in returning or spending more money with them.
Additionally so everyone knows this is not like a gym your membership can only be used at the location you bought.
I will be sending a certified letter which I’m sure will have an issue with my wording and will now have paid for 2.5-3 months I didn’t and can’t use.
Stay away. Don’t trust businesses that trap you.

This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review. This is not about the instructors who have been great & very professional . This is about their business practices and in particular the managers and the handling of membership and client account management .
Josh’s review has been exactly my experience and unfortunately there has been no resolution and support to make membership management easy. In fact, it’s been impossible despite several attempts to cancel the autopay they make you sign up for. You can only do it in person in the studio or via ‘certified mail’ whatever that means, especially in today’s world - NO other gym, studio in any other field of wellness operates this way! . And when you out of the country for several weeks, in person is not impossible. I have been trying to resolve this issue since mid Nov 2024 with charges still coming through.
Please be warned!!

If there was a NO STAR, that's what I would choose for that business! They are FRAUD, DISRESPECTFUL, and DISGUSTING!!!! They go around hiring a number of people at the same time just to show the public they have a big team, etc...but in the middle of training, they tell you " I'm sorry to tell u this, but there's been a lot going on and we decided that we're going to have to put a pause on the hiring process and let you go." Ask for clarity, they wanna kick you out and want to call the police. Somebody please explain this to me! People are really WICKED in every way out here. I advide you all to be careful where you choose to go and spend your money. People are EVIL!
