PARENT AND ME FITNESS is designed to help moms and dads through physical exercise while providing encouragement and support. We are a STRONG PARENT TRIBE. We LEAD BY EXAMPLE and workout with our kids. Little eyes are always watching and learning by what they see you do! NOW OFFERING KIDS FITNESS!
I am currently hosting virtual zoom fitness classes, indoor classes and outdoor classes at out new location The Heart of It, located at 359 Main Road in Aquebogue. Classes change seasonally so be sure to check out the online schedule for all classes!

Rachel is amazing! She is always so welcoming and easily makes any adaptations for you. Stroller Strong offers a wide variety of classes and all of the instructors I have taken classes with have been wonderful! Also, being able to bring your kids makes it easier to get to more classes!

Stroller Strong Mamas has been the biggest blessing to my third postpartum journey! I feel so strong physically at just 7 months PP from all of the different classes offered and it’s also been so beneficial to my mental health - from getting out of the house, to the endorphins from the workout, to socializing with other moms, and on top of all of that, being able to bring my kids when convenient! I love that my children are seeing me get strong and healthy and are learning how to do the same! They have a blast when they participate! I can even bring my baby! (Picture attached of owner/instructor Rachel being adorable with her!🩷) I can’t say enough wonderful things! All of the instructors are so welcoming and truly CARE about their clients! They get to know everyone and are very in-tune to individual’s needs, making modifications to meet everyone where they are at!! 10/10 recommend!!

Rachel is fantastic! She has created a workout space that has become a community. We support one another in not only fitness but in the trials and tribulations of everyday life. I have told Rachel countless times what an amazing community she has brought together through her love & commitment to fitness & health. She provides the perfect environment for parents to not only get a chance to work out without having to worry about childcare, but to socialize with others and laugh & connect over the ups & downs of parenthood! The kids get in some socializing and play, too!
Rachel is such an incredible instructor; a perfect balance of kind & compassionate, funny & fun, and fiery & motivating! Always grateful when I’m working up a sweat at her classes (and usually getting a good laugh, too!).

Stroller Strong Mamas has had such a positive impact on my life!! Classes are fun…the kids get to play or workout with me. I’ve met so many amazing people and have made new connections. Rachel has been wonderful in helping me achieve my goals. I was out of practice when I started but she helped me modify exercises. I am progressing more and more. Highly recommend these classes!

I absolutely love Stroller Strong classes. I’ve never had much luck getting excited about exercise until I started Stroller Strong 6 months ago. In addition to getting a great workout, it is a great atmosphere where everyone laughs and has fun. There are almost always kids in the classes and it adds a sense of fun while allowing parents to exercise without stressing about child care. My toddler now imitates moves she sees in class.
I have never once felt insecure or nervous in this class and it is 100 percent because of Rachel and the energy she brings, whether you are doing modified moves or the most difficult. I cannot recommend this group more.

A year ago we joined Stroller Strong Mama and we love it. It is amazing to have a group like this in the area where you can exercise and talk with other Moms. We love doing the outdoor workout and also kids get to play and socialize. Rachel is the best and such an energetic person and always put a smile when she welcome everyone in the group. Definitely recommended 100 percent this group to everyone.

Every class I’ve been to from in person/ virtual/indoor/outdoor has been amazing. Every time, I not only leave feeling like I got in an awesome workout but also with a feeling like a mom-life stress has been lifted (EVEN with my kids running in different directions, interrupting the workout, throwing a tantrum, or clinging to me like leeches- so that’s saying something!)
Rachel is simply the best - friendly, accommodating, and patient.
Her workouts offer the best mix of challenge and practicality and she will support anyone in making any needed modifications to assure they are getting an effective but safe workout based on their body/needs/limitations (and/or to accommodate the child hanging on you).
Not to mention the overall camaraderie of the entire group; whether veterans or first timers it’s just like instant mom-tribe/safe zone/physical and mental health outlet. <3

Rachel of Stroller Strong Mamas is amazing. She plans and facilitates workouts that are fun, challenging, and will get you results with your fitness goals. I have been attending classes since my son was 3 months old. Being able to bring my baby and my older son to workout with me has been a godsend, and it also sets a great example for them.
Rachel can modify any workout so suit people’s needs, so any fitness level can attend.
Great way to get out, meet other local parents, have fun, all while getting a workout in.

Stroller Strong Mamas had a great impact on my life. I found myself a bit lost as a new mom who put my career on hold during the pandemic to take care of my son. I also moved unexpectedly to Riverhead during the height of the pandemic. As a new (stay at home) mom in a new community with no close friends nearby during such an uncertain/strange time, Stroller Strong Mamas brought back a sense of normalcy and routine to my new life. Rachel is so welcoming and her energy and passion for fitness is genuine and motivating. She works with her clients very well and has been with me every step of the way for modifications during my second pregnancy. Kelly is also an amazing Barre and yoga instructor- I would highly recommend all of her classes as well. The workouts are dynamic and challenging but never stressful. The vibe is judgement-free and fun. Also my shy 2 year old has really started to come out of his shell and has slowly become more comfortable socializing with other kids. If you’re on the fence about trying- just do it. It’s more than just a amazing workout- it’s a chill group of friendly moms (and sometimes dads) ready to banter about the craziness that is parenting.

I am so grateful for Rachel and her wonderful program. I have been going for over 3 years, and couldn’t imagine how I’d get through a week without it. We have made life long friends, and keep meeting more lovely people each year. I was never an athlete, but Rachel motivated me to try harder and see what I am capable of. Rachel’s classes are perfect for any mom! Rachel makes you feel welcome, will address any concerns or adaptions you may need throughout class and creates awesome workouts! I've been going to Rachel's classes since my littlest one was about six months old (she's now 4). Rachel's classes are such an amazing workout! They get your heart pumping and your muscles working hard. Every class leaves you feeling 1000%. I am so grateful for finding the Stroller Strong Mamas a few months ago when my son was only 3 months old. I met Rachel and a few other mamas on one of her free hikes last fall and instantly was so happy I did! She was so welcoming and it was so nice chatting with her and the rest of the crew. When I was ready, I started going to her outdoor workouts and loved them so much! They are perfect for new mamas and even pregnant mamas since she gives modifications, if needed. Her workouts are also great for anyone since they can be very challenging, as well! She modifies for everyone and anyone. I am always so excited to get my son and I ready to go to class, which is very unusual for me since I’m not a person who loves to workout. Her classes are amazing for our bodies both physically and mentally. I can’t wait to attend our next class.

Motherhood seem like a team effort. No matter your fitness level or children's ages, Rachel makes it work. I’m sure most parents struggle with guilt taking time for themselves but SSM takes the guilt away. The kids love playing together and being active while the parents get a workout in! It’s a win win!
