I can’t say enough great things about this Pilates class in Cobble Hill! The space is beautiful, welcoming, and spotless, and the atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. Great Pilates Studio -- go here! Especially a great place to build pilates fundamentals: the cues in the videos are very helpful. The instructors are very caring about your injuries and give great adjustments and modifications (important as I am constantly injured).

It’s one of the best reformer pilates studios I’ve ever been to. It’s clean, and the equipment are well kept. The classes are easy to follow, the instructors are attentive and the beds have heavier springs than some other brands. So glad there is a studio so close to where I live.

Excellent workouts and instructors! Having the screen demos work quite well, as they provide a constant visual aid and free up the in-person instructors to walk around and provide adjustments. I started about a month ago, and I feel myself getting stronger every day. The 45 minute classes fly by, and there are many time options that can fit into anyone's schedule.

After spending time researching all the Pilates places that have recently opened in my Brooklyn neighborhood, I’m so happy that I made the right decision in choosing Pilates International. What a lovely and welcoming studio this is! They offered a fantastic hard to resist trial package for 6 classes and after orientation with Aly E. I was sold! The studio is clean & spacious with mounted big digital screens that show all the movements as the Instructor is conducting class. The Instructors are hands on - so friendly and helpful, coming around, critiquing your posture on the reformer: it’s almost like getting a personal one on one training session! The workouts vary per instructor for each class but for the 45 minutes you are sweating a lot. I’m so happy that I push myself to do whatever I can because I feel great at the end of the session. The Instructors are absolutely phenomenal! I’ve already renewed another set of classes. I highly recommend Pilates International, especially if you have never taken a reformer class before. It’s not to say it’s easy, but you get the personal attention you need and it becomes addictive!

Recently started Pilates at SP in Cobble Hill and so far really loving it. All the instructors are super sweet, knowledgeable and are there to make sure you have the right forms, prevent injury and motivate you. Classes are a good size and lots of options each day. I’ve been going for the last 3 weeks and I can feel and see the difference in my body already. I’m excited to keep going and get stronger, tighter and toned up in time for the nice weather. I am new to pilates reformer classes and Studio Pilates was a great way to get started. I recently signed up for their two weeks special which was an amazing deal for 6 classes at only $60! I read some other reviews about being skeptical of the video instructions, but I actually found them to be very helpful to understand each exercise and to help focus on your form. The instructors were great and still very attentive and focused on helping everyone again with their form.

Excited to start classes here! Took an orientation class with Aly today. From the moment, I walked in, I felt comfortable. Everyone out front was so nice and friendly. The class was excellent and she is an amazing teacher, and I'm not just saying that because she has an amazing name :) I had NEVER been on a reformer before and Aly was attentive and corrected my form when needed (a lot!). I love Studio Pilates! The Cobble Hill location is great. I highly recommend Shannon's class. I've tried many Pilates Reformer classes and this one is the absolute best. I love the workouts and how strong (and sore!) I feel after a workout. As a retired dancer, I’ve long recognized the value of Pilates training. More recently medical issues meant no more dancing, running ( I completed 2000 NYC marathon) or tennis. I could no longer engage in weight bearing cardio, and strength training my lower body was a challenge.
Walking home from biking at the gym, I passed the newly opened SP on Pacific street, and found a challenging, varied, full body workout that perfectly suits my needs.
I value the varied programs, and I appreciate the corrections and modifications by the staff to these programs to assist me in getting a good workout. As a dancer, I know the importance of technique, and the staff at SPCH has taught me, corrected me, and reminded me of the form for all the exercises.
Always a great work out. I highly recommend.

My forever Pilates studio! I have tried a few studios in the area and think this studio is the absolute best for a productive workout that protects your body! Absolutely love the instructors (who can help with modifications based on injuries or sensitivities), the focus on strength training, and the video demos on the tv, which not only help to perfect form but also allow the instructors to concentrate on helping with form and modifications. I have been coming for 6 months and notice a difference in my strength and body.

Clean bright and friendly studio. Classes are formulated and shown on screen of which there are around 10 throughout the studio. The instructor is therefore focusing on your posture and corrections. I have been to this location over 10 times and I like the frequency and availability of class.
The space accommodates around 12-14 beds I believe which is larger than any other studio I have been to this gives good availability and openings for each class.
It is bar far the best value for money in the Neighbourhood at about $26 per class if you are buying a pack. The availability on class pass is terrible, I have been awake at 5am and tried, it’s also more expensive there so recommend you go direct to the studio.
The studio feels a little clinical but understand they are a franchisee mode So most likely follow the standards of the franchise model. I have also experienced a lock of consistency between teachers - the owners class is always great and very thorough and has a great sub teacher from Williamsburg this past weekend.
So for value and ease I really recommend.

I did the intro workout here and will likely give the studio one “non-intro” try, but I can’t say I recommend the intro workout, which is mandatory before taking other classes at this studio. Most of the class consisted of pre-taped videos explaining the reformers, rather than a workout, though the cost for this class is the same as an actual workout and the contents of the video will be pretty obvious to anyone who has done Pilates elsewhere. If the studio feels the need to have its students watch these videos before joining the classes, I would offer the videos for free— as is, the intro feels like a very poor use of money.

Studio Pilates has been the place I was looking forward to hitting the past couple of months to take care of myself post partum. If you hesitate, don’t, give it a try and I promise you’ll be hooked! The workouts are fantastic (and most will make you sweat!) but the instructors are who make the experience even more enjoyable! I have to be honest, I was initially turned off by the fact that workouts are displayed on screens throughout this studio. I assumed it would be an impersonal and mechanical experience, but I couldn’t have been more wrong! This type of format frees up the instructor to be incredibly attentive to everyone’s form and movement, ensuring the class gets the most benefit from each session. I am currently recovery from a hamstring injury and in each of the classes I’ve attended so far, the instructors checked in on me and provided alternatives each step of the way. It’s rare to come by workout classes that feels so personal. I’m excited to continue classes at Studio Pilates and can’t wait to see how focused workouts like this improve the rest of my movement in and out of the gym!

I have always had trouble sticking with workouts until I joined Studio Pilates. Their work outs challenge me, but didn’t intimidate me joining as a first time reformer user. Being able to follow along onscreen, in addition to instructed prompts and adjustments, is an absolute game changer for quick transitions and proper forms. I am an active and athletic person living with a disability. The instructors take time to read their notes before class so I don’t have to explain this in-depth before each workout. They also pay attention to proactively offer modifications. I cannot express how grateful I am for that! I highly recommend this studio!

I was looking for Pilates studios to join in the area and I found Studio Pilates and saw they had the orientation class. I've done reformer before but really enjoyed Studio Pilates in particular. The instructors are friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I really like the format that they have the video playing because then they have someone doing the exercises and it gives me good form to reference and then the instructor walks around to help us and answer any questions. The studio is also very spacious and clean. I'm so happy I found this studio and will keep coming back!

Studio Pilates was my first Pilates experience, and it did not disappoint! I took 2 orientation classes, which helped me feel comfortable and confident for the regular classes. I struggled a lot with injuries and spent months recovering in physical therapy. Pilates was recommended by my physical therapists to maintain muscle strength and range of motion. This studio kicked me out of class this morning for being pregnant, despite reiterating that my doctor has told me Pilates is fine, I did it all throughout my first pregnancy and emphasizing that I know what modifications to do. A good studio would have helped said pregnant person modify instead of asking her to leave the class because they were too lazy to actually do the modifications. Furthermore, if they are not going to allow pregnant people in their regular classes, that should be noted on the mind-body booking platform before they waste anyone else’s time and mortify them publicly.

I have been going to Studio Pilates Cobble Hill since they first opened. I inquired about packages online and received a phone call from the owner, Marisa, herself explaining the package structure and how this studio was different. I was always intimidated by reformer pilates but Studio Pilates has changed that for me. Having TVs demonstrating the workouts ensures the instructors are able to walk around and give personalized feedback and adjustments.I have been trying to go at least weekly and already see changes in my body and strength. Some of my favorite instructors are Marisa, Becca, and Emme (but they are all great). Highly recommend :)

I've tried a ton of fitness classes in NYC - from HIIT to hot yoga to megaformer to reformer... Studio Pilates is by far the best low impact workout and environment I've experienced.

The studio owner, Marisa, and all of the instructors are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly, creating a welcoming environment no matter your experience level with the reformer. My go-to is a class led by Brianna or Joseph, but you honestly can't go wrong with any of the instructors. The workout also recommends a range of springs to make your practice more challenging if needed - and I appreciate that the instructors will always push you, but will never pressure you if you just need a day to "take it easy".

In a few short weeks, I've seen a noticeable change in my muscle build and tone, but without the joint pain and muscle tension I was previously used to with HIIT and megaformer classes. I also attribute this to the video format of the classes, as seeing the move being demonstrated and having that as a reference point in the background has been extremely helpful. This also allows the instructors more capacity for corrections and personalized modifications.

If you've been hesitant to join a pilates studio due to fear of an intimidating space, give Studio Pilates a try! I'm SO thankful they joined the neighborhood and can't wait to see them continue to grow their community.

I really like this studio. The owner, Marisa, is super nice and friendly and it just feels like a nice, small studio vibe. I’m new to Pilates but this was super not intimidating and approachable. I’ve done classes with two instructors and they were both really nice, helpful on form and attentive. The only thing is that the music can be a little distracting while you’re trying to listen to the screen but I LOVE having the screens there - super helpful. Maybe it’s just me though but I’d prefer music without words so the words don’t get jumbled up with the instructions. Even with that though I really enjoy this studio and am definitely going to keep going.

Great new Pilates studio in Cobble Hill! The format is different than other studios - using video to help instruct the class allowing for the instructor to have more hands-on time with the students, it takes some getting used to but if you're newer to pilates is incredibly helpful! They just added a prenatal class which is great, and they're looking to add more to the schedule! If you're an expecting Mom I highly recommend giving it a try :)

I started off with the orientation and 6-pack for new clients. I have just booked my first 10 pack and recommended a friend. Even after the intro - I left with shaky legs - WHAT A WORKOUT! I lift weights and run - and these classes are hitting areas that are completely missed by my previous routine. I am now enjoying a 2x a week cadence.

The studio is beautiful and the instructors are great. The loud music and screens were something for me to get used to in a class setting - for those with sensory issues it might be a little challenging compared to the quiet reformer classes I have taken in the past. However, I am really enjoying the energy and vibe and leaning into the environment:)

I enroll for a 6 sessions during my holidays and I feel much more better now. The teachers are very nice and help with the best postions to empower your visible efforts.
I finally came to my last and free class yesterday … that I booked in person with an hostess last week and on site and when I arrive the teacher tell me that she don’t see my name …. And I didn’t book the reformer. So I had to left the room cause the teacher was not in the mood to get my position. I am not sure at all to get back to this studio anymore.

Studio pilates @ CH has become my new favorite place in Brooklyn! Every class is different and essentially focuses on a full-body workout. After several classes, you start to feel your body becoming stronger and after several weeks you start to see some definition. The instructors are very attentive and clear with their instructions and overall make the class fun!! They also account for those who do have any injuries or pain at specific body parts and help you improvise to still feel effective. My favorite part is having a good selection of time slots you can pick from Monday-Sunday and late classes for those who work until 5pm. I recommended ANYONE to take classes here because you will want to continue going once you start to see/feel results.

Love love love Studio Pilates. The physical space is gorgeous and the classes are definitely a "boutique" style. The studio is outfitted with TVs so you're always able to get a view of the poses + they show a countdown for how long you should hold (great for beginners). The Staff is super friendly and welcoming. It's conveniently located right in Cobble Hill-- no need to commute into Manhattan. HIGHLY recommend taking a Studio Pilates class.
