I highly recommend Tae Kwan Do Training Center for any child or adult looking to try Tae Kwan do. Almost three years ago my husband and I signed our son up because he loved acting like a “ninja” lol We had no idea what his journey would entail (or even ours). Now our son is almost a Black belt and We could not be more proud of him. Master Weist is an amazing Instructor/Mentor. Yes our son has so much fun during each class and has learned many self defense moves but Tae Kwan do is so much more than that. It teaches children how to have respect and discipline. Our child has so much more confidence now. We have loved watching him grow and we are excited for his and our future with Tae Kwan Do Training center ❤️

I’ve been going to TTC for almost four years and can say, without question, this place is life-changing.
It is a great traditional Martial Arts program with Forms, Sparring, and Self-defense. What sets TTC apart is the people. You will never meet a better group of people to spend time with than the people of TTC. The instructors are top notch and genuinely care for everyone. My son has been a student since January of 2022. The teachers and staff are amazing! The teachers really focus on getting to know each student as individuals. We arrived at Fort Drum in December of 2020 and decided to enroll our son in Tae Kwon Do. It had been one of the most positive experiences we've had in the area. Master Weist is a patient and fantastic teacher and my son really enjoys his classes. I can't say enough positive things about it and highly recommend it if you're considering enrolling your child. I have been training with Master Weist for close to 25 years. My wife and daughter also joined a few months ago. He is extremely knowledgable on all curriculum. In class he remains strict yet comforting with kids so that they are able to advance through the belts! If you need a fun physical activity for your kids i highly recommend joining. Parents can also join and work on curriculum at home for a bonding experience as well!!!

My 4 yr old son has been taking Taekwondo here since March of this year. I have noticed a huge improvement in his listening skills and how he follows directions. Master Wiest is absolutely wonderful! He has created a safe place for kids to learn the art of Taekwondo especially during Covid, which hasn't been an easy task! I feel that my son is very safe here when it comes to Covid. The kids have their temperature checked and hands sanitized before they ever get on the mat. They also have to wear a mask and stay a safe distance apart. I really value this kind of emphasis Master Wiest places on children's safety during this time. You can tell he truly cares! Watertown is lucky to have the Taekwondo Training Center!

We have been taking our boys here, ages 4 and 12, for about 5 months. They LOVE coming to TTC. I have noticed so much growth in self-confidence in both of my boys, especially my 12 year old. He is always on such a boost of positivity after each class. My 4 year old lives for Saturdays! He is coming out of his shell more and more and is so happy during class and afterwards! The instructors and staff are amazing and so easy to talk to. You can tell, without a doubt, that they love what they do and they love those kids that they teach: always rooting for them and helping them be their best selves! Our family moved to the area a little over a year ago and were told about Wiest TKD shortly after. I first heard about this school when Mr Wiest was at my high school teaching self defense classes. He had me hooked on TKD immediately. I went to this school for about 3 1/2 years before I joined the military. I absolutely love and miss this place! The instructors there are all very good and very professional. This place works with anyone, any age, and they do a great job teaching each individual how they need to be taught. I was the first in my family to join, and now my dad and three of my siblings have surpassed me. I have recently picked up kickboxing, an I still go back to my roots of kicking during sparring! Mr Wiest and the instructors there gave me a powerful kick!
They teach discipline, self respect, respect for others, and of course, excellent martial arts skills. The like to refer back to the basic skills when need be, which definitely helps. Mr Wiest Jr is one of the best I have seen, and his achievements and skills are incredible. The sparring and extreme classes were my favorites.
If I ever moved back to the area, I would be back there in a heart beat. There prices are also very good, as well, by the way. I suggest going in and talking with Mr Wiest about taking the two weeks of free classes, as well.

When you enroll your child in an activity/sport you always hope that the leaders of the team/company walk the line. By walking the line, I mean loyal to their students, to each other as leaders and to the establishment in general, and at Tae Kwon Do Training Center, LLC they are all of that and more! The TTC's staff is amazing! They teach their students discipline and accountability, but they do it in a such a way that at the same time the students are having a blast! From day one my children had smiles on their faces, and named this as their training center. They are family oriented and genuinely care for the families of their establishment. I've been training at Mr. Weisst's TTC for several months now.

It's hands down one the best dojos I've had the pleasure to train in. Mr. Weisst and his staff of instructors are consummate professionals, all very well trained and experienced black belts, and are very friendly and respectful. The atmosphere is very classy, motivational, and family oriented. Training is top level, with everyone encouraging one another and hard work ethic is recognized and rewarded. The students and instructors always accrue victories in tournaments which speaks for the quality of martial artists that this fine school produces. The school offers training for everyone regardless of skill level and experience, and the instructors are very patient and understanding. As a practitioner of several different styles of fighting and martial arts, I would recommend Mr. Weisst's school to any and everyone. 10/10
