Attended Bar Method class through classpass. This was my first time doing barre, and Missy was very welcoming and provided great individualized and group feedback throughout. It was very challenging but effective. I'd highly recommend her class!

I absolutely LOVE this studio. I started coming here after my surgeries. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, modified my workout based on my surgeries to avoid any injury and constantly motivated me. The space is also very clean and well maintained. You definitely push yourself in the classes but you can go at your own speed/ability and build up from there. It is a low impact but highly effective workout. I even talked my mom into coming with me and now she's hooked!

What a fantastic place full of professional, focused instructors who not only lead classes with exercises that strengthen the entire body but also motivate you to be the best you can be. I've attended classes for 7 months and originally I thought i would just go and see what this was about. But this program is different. The focus is on YOU and to help you strengthen your core. I now go 4-6 times - its virtual now, but still beneficial. The classes work you but at your own pace. I love it! This is Best thing I've ever done for myself . Other byproducts? Your Posture is corrected and Body and Soul strengthened.

The Bar Method is the best barre workout that I have experienced and I have been a personal trainer, yoga and group exercise teacher for over 35 years.
Their instructors actually teach. They focus on correct alignment and execution for the group and for each participant with encouragement and cheerfulness.
I have seen incredible changes in my body and my ability to handle intense exercises.

A while back, a friend and I enjoyed "workout hopping". We liked to experiment with a wide variety of workouts, never actually committing to any of them. Then, we tried the Bar Method and I was instantly hooked. That was six years ago. No other form of exercise has come even close to meeting my personal needs. Bar Method is effective, safe and fulfilling. The instructors are fantastic, each of them engaging in their own unique way. Not only have I become physically stronger, my mental stamina and endurance have improved as well. It is a workout for all levels and ages. So, what are you waiting for?!?!

I bought a Groupon for a month of Bar classes on a whim, but I'm so glad I did! I can genuinely say I have not enjoyed a workout like this in a long time. After two kids I was looking for a way to get back in shape and feel better overall. I'm definitely out of shape compared to others in the classes but it is still a welcoming environment with no intimidation. The instructors are very encouraging and even though the first class was really hard, I didn't feel so defeated that I never wanted to go back. I'm nine classes in now, and starting to get the hang of it. I'm getting a great full body workout and can feel myself getting stronger. If you're looking for a low intensity but highly effective workout, I would strongly suggest you try out a free class...you won't regret it!

Best bar classes around! I have been to many bar studios but truly nothing compares to the Bar Method's classes. The teachers dedication to form and corrections and knowing everyones name makes all the difference. The instructors are really what makes their classes so amazing. They are professional yet friendly and they really ensure each person is getting the most out of every posture! Highly recommended, after coming here you won't want to go anywhere else

These are the best barre classes of several studios I've tried (PB, Exhale, P57). These classes flow well and instructors cue and describe proper positioning so students can get into correct form - they also give constructive individual corrections. The workout is challenging but all the instructors are encouraging. There is also consistency in the quality of the instructors; I've had classes with many different instructors here and they were all great - not like some studios where there are good and not so good instructors.

It's unfortunate that you arrive 3 minutes late and the instructor cannot accommodate you. I drove 30 minutes out of my way at 530 am and the least they could do is allow a customer in the door after they've paid. Was looking for a new Barre place near my job but would not recommend such an elitist franchise to anyone. What a waste of time and money.

Very clean facility, ample amount of parking. All the instructors I've had so far have been extremely supportive, patient, and motivating. They correct my positioning, which is extremely helpful, and they always give extra challenges- which never makes class boring!

I recently joined the bar per the recommendation of my sister in law. The staff has been amazing, very sweet, accommodating and supportive. I have psoriatic arthritis, diagnosed last year, affecting both knees. The last 5 months I’ve been going to OT, great work outs, but too aggressive for what I need. The workouts at the Bar focus on strengthening my core and legs, something my doctor ordered. The stretching between each exercise is what my physical therapist ordered. The bar is a challenge for me, but I know what they offer is the perfect fit to getting my body back. The instructors and staff couldn’t be more supportive!

I really enjoy Bar Method because it influences me to think positively about myself and what I CAN do rather than what I cannot do yet. It has helped me to build confidence and stamina while doing something that’s enjoyable. What stands out here that I have not experienced elsewhere is the amazing instructors. I never once felt discouraged or defeated but rather they will come up to you and modify what you’re doing to help you be successful. They are warm and inviting. I highly suggest trying it out, it is my first month (I’ve taken 10 classes) and I already feel as though my mindset and my capabilities have grown!

This stuff really works. Have been going for almost 2 years now. In the beginning I couldn’t do many of the moves and now I am so so much stronger and can tell the difference in all my muscles.
The teachers here are great- they know what they’re doing and take the time to correct everyone’s posture and technique, unlike other Barre places I have tried.

I have been coming to The Bar Method for almost three years. It remains an activity I love participating in and a venue I look forward to incorporating into my routine. The classes themselves are consistently challenging and never get easier! Even my (fit and healthy) husband finds the class challenging. I am always encouraged to work a little harder and dig a little deeper in this full body workout that promotes a mind-body connection. The teachers are supreme!! I am truly obessed with Bar Method! It is the only workout that I look forward to going to every week. I’ve tried it all yoga, soul cycle, personal trainer been apart of many different gyms retro, lifetime etc.. and they all just didn’t do it for me. I either felt super uncomfortable or just out of place when I went. I always had to force myself to go and I eventually ended up working out at home and that didn’t really do it . But then I was introduced to bar method; I went my first day and right when I opened the door the positive engery was pouring out. The staff was super friendly staff and the instructors were fantastic. The workout is amazing, it’s challenging and pushes your body and mind, it never gets easier but it sculps your body like no other workout would! It’s AMAZING! , it’s the hour for me to indulge in myself. I highly recommend bar method for anyone.

I started Bar Method in Roslyn 11 months ago and I have been loving it ever since. The class itself is an all around incredible full body work out. My posture has improved and I feel stronger with every class. The teachers are motivating and provide guidance when needed. The staff is efficient and helpful. Together they have created a clean and welcoming space for people who would like to give themselves an hour to workout and make themselves better and stronger. The Bar Method is a mind and body transformation. The instructors work with you to ensure proper form and thus maximize benefits. I’m 5’3 and weigh 160 lbs and was looking for an energetic and motivating type of exercise to get into shape. I’ve been going for 2.5 weeks now and am obsessed. I’ve managed to go 4-6 times a week, and although it’s low impact I’ve definitely lost inches. You work on arms, core, thighs and glutes to exhaustion in every class whether express or full hour, and then stretch immediately after. This take on exercising helps burn fat effortlessly. I’ve already committed to another 3 months.

Bar Method - Roslyn is the BEST! I started taking classes about five months ago, and my body has completely changed - I’m stronger, leaner, and more fit. The classes are challenging but fun, and the teachers are energetic and encouraging, providing pointers and adjustments to individual students throughout the class. The studio is clean and spa like, and the owners and staff are friendly and so nice. I recommend it to anyone who might not normally like to workout or run - the class builds strength, while incorporating cardio aspects. Bar is the best way to start my day!

I have been taking Bar in various forms at different places for over 12 years. I have practiced it all. I found The Bar Method in Roslyn about 4 months ago. The location is extremely convenient, the instructors professional and well trained, the people working the phones and front desk very helpful and the schedule awesome!! With the corrections and guidance of the instructors, I have been working on perfecting my "Bar" form. Every class is a challenge. I’ve Joined many gyms for 30+ years so I’ve experienced the good and the bad and The Bar Method In Roslyn is outstanding. Classes are fun and instructors are so attentive in such a positive way. Everyone is treated like a VIP. In the past I Would never pay monthly for a program with one type of class when I could join a regular multipurpose gym for the same price, but Bar Methid made me change my mind. I plan to continue the classes and I really look forward to them.

The Bar method class is amazing! This is the type of class you can do everyday and not get bored. Every instructer takes the time to know everyone’s name.
