They have limited days for the Bug classes (4-10 months). Only two classes throughout the week. Hopefully, they can add more days and hours that are accommodating similar to the Little Gyms in Western NY.

My oldest daughter started the Little Gym when she turned 2 and my youngest started when she was 18 months. Now they are 5 and 2 and half and still going strong! They LOVE coming to the Little Gym. The teachers have such energy and make class so fun. Both my daughters have gained so much confidence and control of their bodies, all while having a blast! I can’t recommend the Little Gym more!!!

My 3 yr old daughter has been attending Little Gym since she was a baby, and we love it! Every activity is age appropriate and the instructors really get toddlers. They are encouraging, but not pushy. The focus or theme of the units are presented in a fun way with movement. For example, a few weeks ago we made letters with our bodies. My daughter can be easily prone to tantrums and does not always like people, she has liked every instructor here because they really get kids!!! We love this place!

I brought my daughter from about 6 months to just under a year. We did enjoy the small portion in the beginning with songs and such but after that the parents and their babies are "left to explore". For how much it costs a month having more teaching included would be more worth the price but its a lot of your child crawling around with no guidance.

We can't say enough great things about The Little Gym!!! My daughter is 7 months old and we've been going weekly since she was 4 months. She always gets such a big smile on her face when we walk in. Everyone who works there is so kind and knowledgeable. Our instructor is Kate, she always goes around asking people what skills they're working on and gives advice on exercises to help. All the babies absolutely love her, she's a true gem :) Everyone there is!!! Our initial plan was to do classes for the winter to get out of the house, and then pause our membership for the summer...but there's no way we could pause it now, we love going way too much, it's always a highlight of our week!!

My son has been going to the toddler’s classes at the little gym for a year now and he loves it….. The space is spacious and full of activities for the kids including soft equipments, dancing, singing, bubbles, balls and other toys….. I love that everything is soft and padded for the little ones to jump and play safely without worrying about any falls or bumps….. Also the stuff are
very nice and know how to deal with the kids…. We love the little gym!

The little person that lives with me has been to two birthday parties here and loves it. The employees are great with kids, the space is very inviting, and all the children have such a blast with the equipment.

My husband drove 20 mins out of his way to check out the gym. He called prior to arriving and no one answered. When he arrived they gave him a hard time about our child joining the class , without being registered first. He said that was no issue he would take the time to register right then if there was openings at 9:30 for 10:30 class . He asked is the class full? They responded no they had 5 children in a class that fill 15 children. They asked how old? 17 months , the class was for 19 months 2 years old. The online says that 17 month age bracket is open during those hours to just use the facility. They said she was too young. Our child is very physical advance for her age, her daycare group is 12 months to 3 years in age. They told him he should have called prior to coming, he did. No one answered at the facility. My husband asked if he could just pay to use to the mats, and tour their staff responded no. That he should come back 2 hours from now to their noon class for infant to 12 months And responded “that its too bad its not snowing, your daughter could just play outside”.,. We just moved here. We used the little Gym in Boise with our brother in law, never had these kind of issues. They insisted she do an “intro class” when we are not new to Little GYM Our daycare was canceled for the day, I typically stay at home with her the other days, and my husband figured he’d check this one out . Extremely unwelcoming , given that this is a franchise extremely surprising during the pandemic, they wouldn’t want new customers. The most heartbreaking part, was my husband said our daughter was so excited to see other kids, and kept wanting to go in and waving through the glass door at the other children. We’re pretty shocked given how much we know and love these gyms on the west coast.

On a scale from 1 to 80's high five, Miss Megan's class is a TopGun: Maverick/Goose high-five. (For those who are not familiar with the classic movie, it's the ultimate, highest honor as far as high five scales go). The energy and positivity that emanates from her at 8AM sends my Tiny Human into a full fledged, excited to participate, toddler. Miss Megan is more magical than Chuck Norris riding a unicorn through a rainbow made of glitter. 5 stars. Would recommend.

Marin is wonderful with my daughter that has individual needs. She is incredibly patient and really seems to enjoy teaching littles. The whole company was wonderful during the pandemic. They offered so many options when the shut down happened. The gym is very clean and the company follows all PPE precautions. Thank you Little Gym of Colonie for offering another way to keep kiddos together safely.

Absolutely worth it. The Little Gym is a great activity spot for toddlers. Fantastic space that changes everytime and really kind and calm instructors. Me and my little love it there. Since Covid they have stepped up their cleaning and you feel secure letting your child play there.

My daughter started when she was 9 months. She absolutely loves her classes. She has learned how to transition from one activity to another. She has also learned to be aware and more social with other children. As a parent I appreciate the explanation that is given with every skill of the week they teach. It makes me more aware of things I can do with my daughter that are fun and developmental for her growth. Definitely a place I recommend.

We love the little gym! My 3 yr old boy goes to wonderkids once a week and has learned many letters and numbers. And my 6 yr old daughter is enjoying the gymnastics program where she is strengthening her core to help her eventually accomplish the back handspring. We decided on TLG because it is friendly, clean and budget friendly!

We are sad that our son lost interest in gymnastics and won't be continuing gymnastics at this time. However, it is in no way shape or form the fault of the staff of this facility. Every staff member here was absolutely wonderful with our son, helped to break him out of his shell and worked with him to becoming more comfortable with other children, and adults that are not me or his mother. We will miss going to the lessons here greatly. Thank you to all the staff member who made this a great experience!

This is our second summer that our toddler has attended the little gym. He has absolutely loved it from the very start. The instructor is charismatic and caring to all the kids. The program is geared to the short attention span of youngsters. The class starts out with a song, short warm up exercises, quick instruction on the skill of the week with practice and then free play on the gym equipment with constant supervision and teaching from the instructor. The program is very flexible with absences by allowing you to reschedule for a later date when given advanced notice. Your child will absolutely love this program!!

The staff is absolutely wonderful!! My girls are geared up to go every Saturday. My girls instructor gives everything she has to her group and I can't thank her enough for the encouragement she gives to each student. It brings tears to my eyes because they look so happy when I see them working out there at the gym. I have been searching for the fiitness place for my girls and I am glad I came across The Little Gym of Colonie!!!

Great and inclusive staff.

Our son is autistic and the staff at The Little Gym have gone out of their way to include him even though he is both physically and emotionally challenged when participating in the classes. The instructors provide modified exercises for him, and encourage/praise every step of the way.

The teachers really keep the session moving and are so positive with all the students--everyone is smiling and so proud of their accomplishments. It's a great resource for not only getting our son physically active but socially engaged.

Our son loves coming (we've been here since they opened) and looks forward to each week's session and the special events.

Can't recommend them enough.

The Little Gym has wonderful programs and staff. My son loves his classes and would go there every day of the week if he could. All the instructors are wonderful and so great with the kids. We have tried so many extracurricular activities but this is the first my son has loved going to and wants to go without a fight. It has also been great for some of his fine and gross motor skill delays encouraging him to practice and having fun doing it. The kids learn in a non-competitive environment and have fun doing it. Seriously I can not say enough great things about the staff and programs there. We are very lucky they moved into our neighborhood.
