The best workout! I’ve also used the sauna & cold plunge, which is a nice benefit to add after class if you have time. I’m a recent convert to bounce - it’s great for cross training, and my body & mind feel amazing after. So far I’ve taken classes with Jessica & Lil and both are excellent teachers. Everyone is super welcoming. Highly recommend the ness!

I am so happy to have found The Ness. After major cancer surgery in April I my strength was sent down to zero. I’ve been determined to work hard to regain my strength with the full support of my care team. The instructors at The Ness are so inspiring, they allow me to flounder and do whatever I need to, no one cares if I can’t do a move, and I love that feeling. The fact that I can even finish a class is a miracle. I love trying my best and the way I feel after a class. See you all there! Cheer me on, I really need it!

The ness is hands down my favorite workout spot in the city. Their trampoline classes are something else - I've never done anything quite like it before. You know that feeling when you finish a great workout? Well, after each class at The Ness, I'm practically buzzing with energy. It's amazing!!!
And the instructors? They're all fantastic. Every single one of them brings this incredible energy to the class. It's contagious!
If you're getting bored with your usual cardio routine, you should really give this a shot!!

I previously booked my first class - bounce hiit at 3pm for Sunday. As I was preparing for my class, I noticed the Sunday open hour on the google map closes at 2pm which I called three times prior my class so I can better prepare for my train ride. The staff didn’t pick up my phone call until 2:50pm. Therefore, I informed the staff that I won’t be able to make it to the class as I thought the studio is closed since no one has picked up my call the entire time. I also requested a class reschedule on the call. However, the staff told me that since no one is at the front desk to help with scheduling in order to complete the rescheduling process, I will have to email them so the request can be processed through.
The misleading open hour information on the google map and the rescheduling process have made my experience with The Ness terribly. I would recommend the studio to update the google map info with up to date operations hours for a better customer service/experience.

I attended a complimentary class – what a blast! I thought bouncing on a trampoline would be a breeze, but geez, was I wrong! Wrangling those jumps was a wild ride, and I'll admit, I had a few shaky moments imagining myself taking a tumble, especially with travel plans on the horizon. But once I found my groove, it was pure exhilaration!
We kicked things off with 25 minutes of high-flying trampoline action, followed by a 15 minute weight workout and some chill cooldown moves. Props to them for the cute weights and sweat towel – they really know how to take care of their class!
The space itself is decked out and cozy, with a sweet little changing area to boot. And just look at the view outside the window.
As a first-timer to group workouts, I was blown away by the vibe! Even when I was sweating buckets, the energy of the class kept me pumped. Now I totally get why people love working out in groups!

I started doing the ness on demand classes back in 2020 when I decided I needed some form of fun cardio. The content is great. There are new classes posted every week and there are also live classes that can be taken online. From someone that generally dreads cardio: this is actually really run, and the time passes quickly. Bonus: it's joint friendly.

Updated- Jan 1, 2024. 3+ years of being with the Ness and I am just as excited to be doing their online digital classes and be part of their awesome community. The instructors are so kind and the community they have built is so welcoming. The classes are fun, challenging and low impact and their are so many classes to choose from, from sculpt, bounce and even livestream if you want to extra push from the new york studio itself. Thank you to the ness for being one of the best parts of my day.

Updated 1/2024: After a particularly difficult year, I can still say that the community and trainers at the ness are unparalleled in their support for everyone who walks through their doors (or streams their classes online). There's no diet culture, ableism, or any of the toxic positivity that is so prevalent in the fitness industry. Everyone is appreciated and celebrated for who they are and where they are today. After the pandemic, a lot of studios scaled back on their digital offerings...the ness has expanded it. I may not be able to get to the studio every day, but I feel just as much of the energy online as everyone who's physically in the studio.
The ness is a great studio for people of all levels or familiarity with fitness. The schedule offers a variety of classes so there is something for everyone. Over the past several years, the team has been very supportive of me as I have navigated health issues and had to travel out-of-state for treatment. They are very professional and make every effort to get to know all of their clients. Everyone in class gets the best experience possible, whether it's for in-person or online classes.

The NESS is like no other online studio I have ever attended. The classes are challenging, full body and bring me more joy than any other workout in my week. Colette and Aly, owners, are so kind, energized and they run a great business. All the instructors (Lil, Jess, Shaina, Quince) are very knowledgeable providing innovative choreography while making it a fun workout. Working out with the NESS brings so much joy to my life. If you are vetting where to join to have a full mind, body and spirit connection look no further…this is your place. You will be a better YOU by participating! 🙌🏻

The Ness is the best studio in NYC! Been a very consistent client for the last 6 months
-classes- Very fun and stay challenging (I bounce several times a week and the classes are still varied + still a challenge)
-instructors - EVERY single instructor is fantastic; give adjustments, but are kind about it and choose fun music
-the workout - Very hard/great workout, but low impact enough you can do it lots (at any age) without injury IMO
-studio space also lovely and well stocked with deodorant, face wash, lotion etc.

Really challenging! The bouncing part of class is intense - if you're a beginner like I am accept the fact that you'll look like an uncoordinated dork on the trampoline for awhile - it's ok! Definitely upped my heart rate and my step count for the day.
Make sure you wear comfortable sneakers and bring a lot of water (they don't have a water fountain in the studio but you can fill up with tap water in the bathroom). The pace of the class is fast, I appreciated the instructor telling us not to be afraid to do the floor moves at our own pace; I was a lot slower than others but didn't feel judged.
The class I attended had four other people in it, I loved the small class size and the encouragement from the instructor throughout. Thanks for a nice time!

I’ve been with The Ness for about 6 months now. I live in California so I’ve only used their digital app/website. I fell in love with rebounding starting the pandemic… I’ll never run again! And The Ness increased my rebounding endurance/stamina /stability/balance .. all the things! The app is so easy to use… cannot go wrong!
You do NOT need a rebounder for The Ness digital program- they have sculpt/stretch videos that don’t use the rebounder. BUT I HIGHLY recommend investing in a quality rebounder (bungee not springs) for The Ness and just daily cardio. The rebounder is low impact/high intensity (super good if you are prone to injury), wonderful for the lymphatic system, heart health (10 mins rebounding is equal to 30 min run), and of course weight loss if that is your goal. They have very beginner rebounding classes to advanced so any level can join in on the fun. They have weekly drops- work out laid out for your week- or full access to their class library where you can pick the workout you want. They also have stability classes on the rebounder- lots of one leg/arm balancing. I cannot stress enough how stability exercises ARE KEY to balanced strong bodies. Not only should you strengthen big muscles but all tiny muscles/joints that hold you together. Think about being able to reach up for something on your tippy toes FOREVER! Gotta keep those ankles strong! Also stability is good for balancing left and right side strength. ANYWAY, cannot recommend The Ness enough… perfect well balanced fitness program!
I can’t wait to visit NYC and bounce in person!

the ness is my absolute FAVORITE new workout! I became interested in rebounding after learning the benefits from a Tony Robbins event. There are no studios near me that offer one - so I tried a few online. The NESS has been the absolute best!! Each class is fun, innovative, sweaty, and challenging. And the teachers are so cute & sweet! I used to be obsessed with running but as I got older it left me feeling imbalanced and sore in joints. Rebounding has been a life saver! It has the same cardio feel as running and actually has 3x the benefit of running. LOVE IT & HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

And for someone who thrives on group classes like myself, zoom and the ness digital have saved me during quarantine - the content is beautifully shot and workouts are equally as effective as studio workouts.

Each class is guaranteed to have a killer playlist, make you sweat, and leave you smiling. Can't say enough great things about The Ness. Not to mention they are a female founded business. Need I say more?!

The Ness is my essential workout! They are a part of my fitness routine and have been for years. I've trained with them in their studio and recently switched to their online/digital platform as well. Their cardio (bounce) and toning (sculpt) classes are my favorite – it challenges your body and brain in the best way possible and always leaves me dripppping in sweat! The trainers are one of the main reasons why I go to The Ness – they are the nicest, most hardworking ladies (& Kendall) and they put their 100% into the workouts and will always keep you accountable and going. I have recommended The Ness to everyone I know and will continue to do so for a loooong time!

Bounce is my favorite workout ever, such an amazing physical and mental release. From the beautiful studio, to the digitial subscription, to the amazing instructors - the whole experience is top notch. And it's owned by three badass female entrepreneurs!

The Ness Digital subscription has saved me during quarantine! There are several curated routines, from beginner to advanced, and a growing library of sculpt and bounce classes. Every class is thoughtfully choreographed, the music is always great, and you can't go wrong with any of the instructors. This membership has completely converted me to at-home workouts and has kept me on my fitness journey, which was honestly a surprise. Even if/when gyms begin to open, I plan to keep these classes in my weekly routine. Highly recommend!

I was able to take a class at The Ness when I was in NY last month and what a cardio workout! It’s challenging but fun and I felt like my metabolism shot through the roof. Wish I could come here every week!

Classes at the ness are phenomenal. Aly, Colette, Kendall, and everyone involved in the studio bring infectious positive energy to every session. No matter what kind of day you're having, they always bring you up to a level where you feel like you can do anything.
The routines on the trampoline [bounce] and on the floor [sculpt] are challenging, but they are so much fun that you hardly notice. The great music, well-coordinated movement combinations, and instructor personality/encouragement make the effort more than worth it.
Whatever your background in dance and/or exercise, this is a great place to drop in for an experience that will brighten your day without fail.

My favorite studio in NYC! I love Bounce class and attempting to keep up with the beat of the music. Instructors will offer options for beginner and advanced levels and form corrections, which I really appreciate. Sculpt class is for strengthening and toning , but there will still be sweat! The studio is very clean and has everything I need to get ready. Water is available for filling up your bottle. Paper cups are available if you forget your bottle. Instructors are all friendly and all give challenging classes. Signing off to book my next class....

The BEST workout in NYC, hands down! I’ve been taking the bounce and sculpt classes for several years now and every class still makes me feel like I had an awesome workout and challenges me physically and mentally (in the best way possible). All the instructors here are personable, high energy, and just overall amazing people and makes everyone who steps into the studio feel welcome. Bonus is their killer playlists that make every class go by so fast and you just end up having a lot of fun. If you’re looking for the ultimate boutique fitness studio experience in NYC, you must add this place to your list!

My favorite studio in NYC. Beautiful space, amazing, friendly instructors and challenging but fun classes. No bounce or sculpt class is the same but all are high energy, full body workouts with great music. Highly recommend!

I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this studio is. Not only is it a beautiful space with great equipment, but more importantly, the owners and teachers are the nicest and most welcoming fitness instructors in NYC. The Bounce class manages to be both an extremely challenging workout while also being a fun dance party. The sculpt class is probably a bit less challenging but still a great workout if you don’t want as much cardio. The classes here are so worth it and Aly and Colette are incredible. I can’t recommend it enough!!!

Recommend 10/10. I will go on and on to anyone who will listen how much I love this studio. I got my first introductory to Bounce (high adrenaline/low impact cardio work out on a trampoline) at a different studio but now won’t go anywhere else because of the instructors/overall energy of clients.
Additional review:
Schedule: good variety of times for those who have mon-fri 9-6 work schedule — offering even Sunday afternoon if you have had a busy work week
Instructors: taken classes with Aly, Serena, and Kendall and all are challenging/wonderful
Pricing: standard for Manhattan if you want a genuinely good work out — offers really great introductory packages
Compared to other work outs: sometimes think the cardio is harder than Barry’s because you can’t “slow” down your speed on a trampoline as you would on a treadmill
Other opinions: Think it’s best to Bounce for Cardio but Sculpt to tone up (“look” good)
Location: downtown and good easy commute — near yellow line, blue line, and green lines
My favorite part: invitation/referral only — curates a clientele that truly love the classes and are excited to be there. I feel like people in work out classes can get unnecessarily competitive with other clients in class (??!) but there is none of this energy here — also love the fun music

It’s a great workout — tough but also fun, and constantly varied. The owners/instructors are wonderful and welcoming, and the small size makes the classes intimate without being intimidating.

The trampoline class was legitimately the toughest and best class I've ever taken. I highly recommend this place! Unfortunately I was just in town visiting or I'd be a loyal client.
