We have been coming to PAC for five years, and more specifically to Daniela and KTB Dance for the last three. Our daughter Olivia truly feels like she’s at her home away from home with Daniela and Zena and all the friends she has made!
I recently read the review posted by “SM” about her daughter being traumatized, and I want to gently share that the experience described does not reflect what we witnessed. In fact, my daughter Olivia, and a few of the other girls, took her daughter, despite the age difference, under their wing. Her daughter genuinely seemed to have a wonderful time with them, which makes the review both troubling and unnecessarily harsh.
Regardless, I want to express our deep gratitude to PAC and an especially big thank you to KTB for bringing your vision to our neck of the woods. We are so grateful for everything you do for our kids.

At their dance center was the first time as a parent that I felt the sadness that comes with someone disliking your child. We signed up for a class meant for 3-5 year olds but were assured my daughter being 3 months shy of 3 wasn’t an issue. In reality, most of the children in the class were on the older range and very capable of following the “routine.” My daughter wasn’t able to and also had separation anxiety when they closed the classroom doors. After a few classes she refused to go alone, saying the teachers yelled at her. Most of the time the closed circuit tvs weren’t on so I couldn’t see her, which was annoying, and prevented me from knowing what actually happened. But I could feel their annoyance with her each session and it was heartbreaking. It’s been 3 months and still when we go to ShopRite, she starts to cry because she thinks we’re going back there. Perhaps a suitable place for older, compliant children but little grace was shown for my toddler. Could really use the $350 wasted on 8 classes for therapy for the resulting trauma for me and her both. On a happier note, we began gymnastics at another local establishment 2 months ago and she is thriving, validating that it was the circumstances, not the child.

In September, 2025 I went to my granddaughter’s 7th birthday party at Progressive Athletic Center. Having four grandchildren, I have been to many birthday parties. I was truly impressed with the organization, safety and FUN aspects of this party. There were 40 children; most of them were 7-year-old girls, but there were a few older and younger siblings as well. Progressive divided the children into four pre-arranged groups. Each group had its own coach and there were more coaches and staff in the gym. After everyone did a warm-up together, the smaller groups were each led to a different station. The birthday girl switched groups to spend time with each her friends. The activities included floor exercises, tumbling, trampoline, hula hoops, cartwheels & more. Throughout the party, the coaches moved the children from one station to the next, so that every child experienced every station. It was wonderful to see the children so engaged and having such an amazing time. After the gymnastics portion of the party, the kids were led to another room where the birthday girl was hiding inside a large painted wooden cake. She popped out of the cake, and then pizza and cake were served.
If your child is into gymnastics, I would encourage you to check out Progressive & see the classes and party options that they offer.

This family-run business has been amazing to our kids for several years going from 3-8 years of age. They're incredibly supportive and genuinely care about their families. Our kids have had such a great time here, and you can really tell the team puts their heart and soul into everything they do. Highly recommend! The "transitions" between classes during the weekends can feel a little overwhelming with a lot of people moving around in and out in the space, but most parents are patient and understanding.

My son loves the Ninja Warrior class at PAC. We signed up again for the Fall. The coaches are great with the kids as well as the directors. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We've done the holiday drop-off classes too. We've been very satisfied with everything so far and looking forward to more classes.

My 6 year old daughter has been loving her time at PAC day camp! She is active all day and it seems like they do a great job of keeping the kids busy from morning sports/pool time to afternoon gymnastics, dance and ninja warrior. The directors and counselors all seem great and engaged and the program is well run and well organized. Everyone involved is accessible and wanting to make my daughter's summer experience the best it can be. Thank you PAC day camp for giving her this experience!

Awsome place for kids to learn and have fun and make new friends. The gymnastics is awesome and competitive and gives the kids a sense of purpose while learning life skills at the same time. The ninja warrior gym is spectacular it looks and feels just like the one we watch on tv American ninja warrior. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My 5-1/2 daughter is 4 weeks in at the PAC Summer Day Camp and is having the time of her life. The children are fully engaged in a variety of activities throughout the day. The exposure to different sports and physical activities have brought new interests to light, which we are all excited about! The coaches/counselors are attentive and engaged. The Directors are wonderful. They provide regular updates as needed, are very reachable and communicative. I asked my daughter to rate camp so far, 1 being the worst and 10 the best. She enthusiastically replied, “ one million!”

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Ever since he started coming here, he’s become so much more active, confident, and social. It’s been truly wonderful to see him open up and enjoy himself while learning new skills and having fun. The staff are absolutely amazing, so kind, patient, and encouraging. They create such a warm, welcoming environment that makes everyone feel included. The sense of community here is something really special. You can tell they genuinely care about every single person who walks through the door. If you’re looking for a place that helps build not just strength and agility, but also confidence and friendships, I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone. It’s made such a positive difference in our lives, and I’m so grateful for it. 💙

The PAC gym is an ideal place for kids to have fun and get some exercise. You can tell the teachers really work to build the kids' confidence and ours always comes home talking about the equipment they were using that day or wanting to show off a new technique they learned. After a few classes they were all on a first-name basis and now it's something we look forward to every week!

We love the PAC! My family has been going there for years and enjoy every minute of it. Their staff become like family. Everyone knows my kids even if they don't personally coach them. I couldn't ask for a better atmosphere. My daughter has really come out of her shell after attending their gymnastics program and I can tell she's become more self confident, physically and emotionally. Coaches Vic, Marvin, Alexis, Erin, Von, & Suraya are some of the coaches to name a few that my kids love!

Who ever is newly registered please make sure to schedule your makeups in a timely matter within the session. As they do not allow makeups after semester. Is not like I didn't try to schedule her makeups but due to the holidays and the flu my girl miss 3 classes since December and 1/31 is the last day of class. Now I found out that she can't make up eventhough there's classes going on for the next session but she isn't registered for the new session thus she can't attend the make up. Also I schedule other makeups too, not like there's was no makeups done but they fail to state that makeups can't be carry on to next semester in the recent communications. Mind you is gymnastics for 4 year old not some college class. Is just placing a extra head into any available suitable class for her.

We are registered for ninjas for 4 years now. The program is fine, but the manager/administration has zero people skills. For the most part you can get away with leaving money with the front desk and never having to deal with them again, but if you have an issue that requires any sort of assistance, expect to be treated like a no body because they just don’t need to care, so they don’t and they treat you as such. And if the front desk makes a mistake that leads to management intervention, they are called out, I feel terrible for them. They are also not very involved in the community. Most businesses in the area are, so this stands out.
Overall, it is just a very popular feeder for gymnastics and ninjas, but there’s no real community feel. The kids that work there are fine enough on the ninjas side. On the gymnastics side we didn’t like the program because there was just too much standing around and waiting and the kids at the time weren’t very focused on helping the little ones unless there was a ton of intervention from the parent.

Not worth the money at all, basically free play for toddlers and at almost 1K a semester you would expect more. Unsafe to get to due to parking lot, terrible location and unable to watch your kid while they are in class unless you want to squint at a tv in a crowded room with 40 other parents. Disorganized, overcrowded and an overall terrible experience.

My daughter got leg bone fracture.
My two daughters both signed up for super gymnastics. It's their second semester. I didn't have good feeling after that my kids told me that coaches do not coach but often chatting among themselves. I should have cancelled it but my kids said they like it. Last Friday, PAC called me saying one daughter fell but she seems fine. I went to pick her up. the coach who was with us her name was Alexas. she said she gonna call later tonight and next morning to follow up and told us go to urgent care if pain persist. Next morning I had to take her to ER because the pain was unbearable. It turned out she had a bad tibia bone fracture! It was flipping off the vault. some one did a demo and kids do it themselves. there wasn't any verbal instruction or protection from coach involved. My daughter said she had to close her eyes while she doing it. I have been trying to contact them about the injury but they never returned my call and have been hiding. They made you to sign the waiver without explaining it. Then they do the minimum job of coaching and protection. So any injury happen, it's not fault on them. It's cushioned but the cushion itself is very hard on surface. My daughter land on heavy cushion on her shins and got fracture.
Update: Alexis called me later. They agreed to postpone for both of my daughters' credit as a compromise. They did do what they can at the moment incident happened. They had people looked at my daughter and called me after 10 minutes. Alexis carried her out from the gym to my car. Well, I still think this kind of accident should be avoid in many ways. One way is to give the kids choices of doing or not to do the move. If they think it's too dangerous, they don't have to do it. Or add some soft cushion on top of the hard one. or get the cushion that has softer surface. The parents are sending their kids there to have fun. Broken bone is just too much.

They allowed my 6 year old daughter and her friend to roam their incredibly congested parking lot by themselves! The parking lot itself is a total hazard with the amount of cars and little children in a confined space. But the fact they let two small children out of their facility without a parent shows the lack of concern they have for their customers...someone could have easily been killed
During the year-end showcase they had the audacity to charge $15 for a parent to sit on the floor to watch their kids bounce around. And then to make it worse actually told us 2 minutes before the start that our daughter was not wearing the right leotard so she could not participate! As you can guess, a 6 year old didn't take this very well!
Spend your money elsewhere

They need to fix how kids dropped off and get it more organized. Several times already they took my kid then left my kid in the lobby full of other adults and kids, when staff gets overwhelmed /distracted with people just walking into the lobby and lingering and stuff.
I walked right in to check on my kid, since no one was helping , though the sea of people, nonone stopped me or asked me who I was, etc .
Just a disaster or a lost/kidnapped kid waiting to happen if they dont fix this serious drop off flaw.

Have energetic children? Want them to burn off some energy? How about build some strength and core training? The ninja warrior program offered at Progressive Athletic Center has all that plus more. Maybe your kids aren’t interested in training for the secret service. They have tae kwon do and gymnastics as well. Take your pick. Don’t know if you want to invest? They offer free trial class for the whole time slot on the schedule. If you decide to sign up, a bag, a head band, uniform shirt and shoe slippers for ninja warriors. For gymnasts, leotard, matching scrunchie, and shoe slippers is what is offered as well as a bag. Since I missed the full course of the program, which is originally 18 weeks, they gave me pro-rate pricing. If you have a sibling, there’s a $25 discount for program. Pricing for 2 children is about $1040, which includes the program, insurance and uniform. If you pay with credit card, there’s a 3% fee. If you aren’t interested in points for your credit card and want to save on the fee, pay on cash. The center is family owned. The owner used to be a physical education teacher in high school and Queens College. Her two daughters are also employees. Each time slot as seen in the picture has at most 7 children per group due to Covid. If children are younger, the group is split in 2 so children aren’t waiting to do an activity. Every 2 weeks, the program changes so that every muscle group is targeted during exercises. I forgot to mention, if you’re there for trial, parents are allowed to stay to watch. If you sign up, parents have to wait outside/in their car. I would say if you’re going for the trial, dress as if the kids are going to gym class. Maybe put them in non-slippery socks so they can do obstacle courses that require climbing. Children need to have socks on. Bring a bottle of water as well. I’m sold!

We had prepaid for ninja classes at the beginning of 2020 and of course, COVID-19 hit everyone. Obviously and understandably the PAC shut down just like every other in-person business. We immediately called and were told that there would be no refunds and that the kids would be able to make up the classes eventually. From that point until now, we've called several times inquiring about a refund and while they did reopen, due to a couple of family members who are immunocompromised my kids still could not attend classes. We're not talking "I hav trouble breathing when it's hot outside" immunocompromised, we're talking about going through chemo immunocompromised.
Fast forward to present day, all of a sudden the've updated their website to say that there would be no refunds "related to pandemics..." and that make-up classes must be completed during the registered session. Apparently their version of "we tried contacting you" was sending us flyers in the mail saying nothing other than the PAC was open. No emails or phone calls letting us know of this new policy change. We are now being told that we could have sold our classes to another family - SMH! - and that they can't refund us because there were at least 50 other families in the same position.
I get it...the PAC is just trying to stay in business. As the lady we spoke said, if they refunded every family that requested one, they'd go bankrupt.
But to anyone reading this, my recommendation is to pay as you go as to not risk loosing your money. This pandemic is far from over who knows if another lockdown is on the horizon.

I wrote a negative review before. Not sure how its "missing"....Refused to refund me almost $2000 for a class I signed my 3 kids up for in the Spring. They told me to sell my classes to someone and they could do nothing. Have not received a dime! Really? Guess I should have to pay for class my children cannot participate in during a pandemic due to medical reasons. After countless emails, they finally decided to update their website to a newly made refund policy due to covid and referred me to it.... What does that do? Further state you dont care about stealing money from your customers? I am not the only one who has been rejected a rightfully deserved refund. Disgusting.

** I would like to start by saying that I was an early education teacher before I had my son. I have plenty of experience with good and not-so-good early childhood development programs and instructors**
My son is 18 months old and this summer was our first semester at Progressive. I have nothing but fabulous things to say about this facility! We have had a wonderful experience in class. When other programs (we have tried several in the area*) are on autopilot- these coaches are focused on making my child feel comfortable and included in the group. He is our first, so we really wanted him to get some experience interacting with other children and this class has really been a great jumping-off point.
What excites me the most about this program as a whole is that there is obvious room for growth. The gymnastics program includes a competitive team (does not apply to us- but for me it shows the expertise/ability in the coaching staff) AND they have a Ninja program which I can't wait for my son to grow into!
(We stayed behind to watch a class once and these kids were swinging on ropes, climbing up obstacles, and jumping on all sorts of equipment.)
Thank you to Coach Victoria for a fabulous semester! We will see you again in the fall (and beyond!)

Other countries attend worlds such as South Africa, Canada, and the UK. It’s quite the experience. Progressive has offered her the best environment and training needed to progress to high school and maybe even college level.

I can’t say enough about this place. My daughter has been to nursery school here, tap/ballet class, and just finished her 19 week gymnastics class today. They put on the SWEETEST most organized program ever to show what she has learned the last 4-5 months. I couldn’t be more impressed and continue to tell my friends about this place. In 2.5 years I have never had a bad experience. The owner and her daughters are amazing. They definitely know gymnastics and take great care of the kids!

My son got hurt several times due to poor judgement from the teenagers running this place. He hurt his knee when they allowed too many kids to jump on the trampoline at the same time unsupervised (apparently their own protocol allows one or two kids on at a time). Several other times the "coach" allowed multiple kids to climb on the same obstacle at the same time (when clearly it was designed for a single child at a time) and we saw several kids get hurt. Finally, at the end of the class session they have a demonstration for the parents, but in order to gain admission they charge $5 per person at the door. This is absurd as we had already paid hundreds of dollars for the class. It's not about the money as they could have charged another $20 for the classes and nobody would have minded, but it shows that they are only interested in nickel-and-diming the parents at every opportunity.

I am NOT floored at all the responses, because the place looks very inviting. But walk thru with a blue LED light & see if it's still inviting ijs
