I visit New York frequently, and this is the only gym I now go to. The owner Kenny and all the trainers are incredibly welcoming, you feel like a member in a private club. They have an abundance of equipment, so you're never waiting to use anything. Most notably, they're located in the most ideal part of town, making it very accessible for anyone staying or living in Manhattan.

I attended the Friday afternoon Lower Body Strength class and loved it! Kristie covered the class. She’s clearly a great trainer and can read everyone very well. I haven’t strength trained in a long time and her quick tips and reminders made all the difference. The community seems very real and motivated. It’s refreshing. I’ll be back!

After many years of weight training on my own, I took a 2½-year break from the gym. When I decided to get back into it this past January, I joined The Strength Club NJ—and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
I had never done group training before, but the atmosphere here is incredibly motivating. There’s an energy in the room that pushes you to be your best, every single session. The trainers are top-notch—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in your progress.
The results I’ve seen in just a few months speak for themselves. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend you give it a try. I’m certain you’ll get hooked just like I did.

I’ve been working out at The Strength Club and bringing my clients here for the last 3.5 years — and I genuinely love it. The gym is always clean, well-maintained, and has a great layout, but what really sets it apart is the energy and vibe.
Kenny has built something special — a real fitness community where everyone feels welcome, no matter their experience level or age. The atmosphere is motivating, the people are friendly, and the group classes? Hands down some of the best you’ll find anywhere in NYC.
Whether you’re just getting started or a seasoned athlete, I can’t recommend The Strength Club enough.

I was looking to start private strength training after several years away from the gym. A friend connected me with Kristie at The Strength Club and I’m lucky to have found a great trainer who I believe will get me back into shape and keep me uninjured. I’m someone who grew up playing sports and was always on a team, and as an adult I was missing that camaraderie. But I’ve found what I was missing at The Strength Club. I was welcomed in as part of the Strong New York team when I went to my first class two and a half years ago, and have been attending classes at the gym ever since. Kenny, Kristie, Dani, Cliff and Gabby are amazing coaches who really put in effort to ensure you’re meeting your goals. They’re always pushing you to go harder or lift heavier. They want you to get everything out of your training for the hour or so that you’re there. I’ve had memberships to many other gyms, but none have the accountability or team-like atmosphere that The Strength Club does. If you live in NY, or if you’re just visiting, this is not only a great gym where you’ll get your money’s worth in terms of the training, you’ll meet a great group of people with similar goals, all looking to have an enjoyable work-out.

I took strength series: upper body with Gabby. She’s a long time trainer/coach that I followed from a different gym. Gabby is knowledgeable, tough and motivating. She demonstrates clearly and will pay attention to and correct your form. Gabby pushed us to complete multiple different lifting exercises so we got a lot done in a short session. I appreciate her coaching style because she pushes me to my limit while still making the experience enjoyable.

Thanks to a chance chat with Kenny, the owner & expert trainer, at a local coffee spot, I got the invite to check it out. I seized the opportunity, as I’ve been curious about strength training for a while but was always intimidated by it. Despite being a seasoned group boxing enthusiast & group fitness trainer myself, I felt like a newbie stepping in. It can be daunting to start something new, especially in a new place full of strangers. But hey, life is about trying new things & getting out of your comfort zone, right?!
I've hit up 3 classes with 3 different trainers—Kenny, Kristie, & Dani—all bringing passion to their craft. Everyone is welcoming, from trainers to members, which quickly puts you at ease. Every workout is pushes you, but you feel supported & like you’re just hangin’ with good chill people. The Strength Club is by far my favorite gym in NYC. It is such a sigh of relief to walk in to not only a gorgeous, well-kept gym but a comfortable atmosphere with members of so many different ages and abilities. Every time I have taken class each coach has been very welcoming and beyond helpful if I have needed to scale or change any programmed movement. The coaches are knowledgeable and the programming is challenging, but never too much to risk burn out or injury. I truly believe anyone of any fitness level could drop in to a Strength Club class and they would immediately feel accepted and capable and definitely leave feeling a little stronger!

I'm stoked to have discovered this gym! I'm not only getting pushed harder than I ever train on my own – I am also being directed in that training in ways that are no doubt yielding superior results.
I've only been a couple times so far, but Cliff's class today particularly impressed me – both for his kind encouragement and for the quality of personal attention to ensure I'm using the right weights or supports and using proper form. It feels like getting personal training, but with the fun of a small group.
The cozy community feel of the place is cool. The space occupies a sweet spot of neither too fancy nor rundown. It's in this little old building that's basically just a stack of small gyms. (Climb the stairs to the 5th floor for a little warm-up – or if you get the claustrophobic willies looking at that tiny old elevator.)

I’ve been training here for 2+ years and, no exaggeration, The Strength Club changed my life. I look and feel better now in my 30s than I did in my 20s. Kenny’s knowledge, patience, support, and firm guidance have pushed me to achieve things I genuinely did not think were possible for “someone like me.” I’ve always been the “curvy girl” and never thought of myself as particularly athletic. The weight room used to intimidate the hell out of me. Now it’s one of my favorite places in the world because of how much I’ve learned from Kenny, and because of the confidence he’s helped instill in me. The strength you gain in the gym really does translate to confidence and strength outside of the gym. That’s especially true if you have real expert guidance and community support, and that combination is really hard to find.
I’ve tried just about every fancy group fitness class in this city - spinning, kickboxing, HIIT, dance cardio, yoga - you name it. Nothing, literally NOTHING has changed my body and my mindset about fitness, and improved my own estimation of what I’m capable of, as dramatically as training at The Strength Club.
Every time I’ve showed up at The Strength Club, it’s consistently been exactly what I needed that day and my day has been better as a result. The commitment to excellence, cleanliness, and great equipment makes it a great place to train for any fitness level, and the welcoming atmosphere and attentive guidance is particularly friendly to newcomers. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I have been coming to the Strength Club for over a year and a half. I commute from NJ twice a week because of the amazing workout, unstoppable mindset, and encouraging community. My background in fitness was a limited scope focusing only on running. Just over a year ago I added the additional strength component and since then I have PRd in my marathon and half marathon. I still consider myself a novice gym goer but am encouraged by my trainer and other around me 100% of the time. They philanthropically are involved in a multitude of facets to help NYC and beyond. I live my life hoping to crush mediocrity and am so happy I found a place who welcomes me with open arms and looks to do the same.

II have been doing CrossFit-style workouts since 2015. I’ve bounced around all the gyms in NYC, but I genuinely found my home here. After the pandemic, I was down and out, out of shape, and embarrassed to walk into any gym, let alone one that might have people I knew. Strength Club literally rebuilt me. They never made me feel anything other than welcome and strong. They cared enough about me (and still do) to make sure I was coming in for workouts and worked with me to get the pounds down and my health back in check. They were a beacon of light for me and oftentimes the only part of my day that made me smile, feel joy, and optimistic. The workouts are strength-based (except conditioning days), so you don't need to worry about burpees - how fast everyone else is going, or what shape they are in. Their merch is sick as hell, and the community they've built is full of the most amazing people. Behind Kenny’s jokes and AC/DC is someone entirely dedicated to helping people. Kristie may not be the loudest person in the room, but her lower body days will leave a lasting impression. I will forever feel indebted to Kenny and Kristie. They will always have my utmost loyalty.
Go to this gym even if you aren’t feeling your most confident. I promise you'll walk out with a dash of hope and a deep desire to come back.

I've belonged to Equinox, Blink and done every boutique fitness class but never really felt comfortable in these settings. This gym has an amazing leadership team that has the expertise, passion and patience to teach me proper strength training.
Kenny and Kristie took it slow, really helped me learn how to move, and gradually challenged me to do more. Their constant attention and feedback in group classes and 1:1 training has kept me motivated and helped me continue to improve.
And the community they've developed is so welcoming! The classes always include incredible people who inspire me to grow stronger and challenge myself further. From day one, I've never felt intimidated and truly feel the support of the community cheering me on.

Can’t say enough good things about this little gym. I’m a travel nurse with an avid fitness routine, so I check out different gyms and Studios in different cities all the time. This has quickly become one of my faves ever— it’s such a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, all who attend are so welcoming. I’ve now taken a class with three different coaches Kenny, Cliff, and Kristie - all equally as great and consistent to each other. Not only do they push you they make sure that you are always using correct form which I so appreciate having a bad [old] nurse back. I was in NYC on vacation and all I could think about was the amazing pizza here. At the same time I wanted to make sure that my week here didn’t set me too far back in my workouts. The Strength Club NYC was recommended by a friend and I am so glad I came! I did two classes one with Kristie and one with Danielle. Both coaches absolutely crushed me! I thought I was in good shape until they destroyed my muscles. What a workout! Lots of Super sets, tons of equipment and they keep you moving. The group of people you end up working out with are all highly motivating. It’s like having a bunch of workout partners at once. I highly recommend getting a workout in here. Met Kenny, he’s awesome! He built something incredible. 100% try out the workout! Add this to your list of places you have to visit in NYC, earn that slice of pizza!

I fly to New York City for one week out of every month to work with Kenny Santucci at The Strength Club. The Strength Club is a community of like minded people who just want to get better and imrove in all areas of life. The trainers and members are friendly and motivate one another. Kenny has helped me shed over 35 lbs with his philosophy, “no substitute for strength.” He is brutally honest because he really cares about his clients. He says the things you need to hear that no one else will tell you. The classes and private training sessions are tough, but fun. If you are in the New York City area, give this gym a shot, it will be the best money you ever spent!

What is the one thing people want from a gym and trainer? RESULTS. In addition to a great atmosphere, Kenny, Andrew and Kristie are tremendous coaches that care about each individual both physically and mentally. The Strength club has an amazing facility, a good variety of classes, awesome coaches and a solid community.
It's probably also the only place in the city where you can hang out after a workout.
The owners are very friendly, actively involved in the classes and making sure all the members are happy. Overall, this is by far my favorite spot in the city.

The Strength Club has been a long time coming but well worth the wait. Kenny has always welcomed everyone as family, and now with a home of his own and the same great class.
The gym is very well equipped with all of the latest equipment and makes great use of the space (much larger in person). Strength Club is my new go-to gym when I'm back in NYC.
