We recently moved to the area and were thrilled to learn about The Studio School of Dance. Our son felt immediately welcomed by Vanessa and the Hip Hop instructor, Ready Rosa! Our son has loved learning all of the new moves, making pals, and we have seen an amazing boost in his confidence! Immediately after the spring performance, he asked that we make sure to sign him up again for class in the fall. The Studio has been a fantastic add to our program!

Best dance studio in Northern Westchester. My daughter literally tried 5 other studios since age 3, and they were terrible for several reasons. Constantly disappointed, we tried The Studio last year in Mount Kisco (in the Saw Mill Club) and finally we found our dance school home. My daughter and now my son take lessons here in Acro, hip hop and breakdancing - they LOVE their teachers because they’re fun/kind/patient. I love their teachers because they’re all that and professional/highly-qualified/positive. I really can’t say enough. Furthermore the owner, Vanessa, interacts with the kids and parents and is extremely personable. I’ve even taken adult ballet here and reconnected with my childhood pastime. The instructor, Nina, for the adult ballet was/is amazing.
Lastly, the end-of-year recital is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. My family and I left the recital in June raving about how fabulous it was - so professional, so entertaining, not your run-of-the-mill kids’ recital. The choreography was 11/10. Reddy (breakdancing teacher) and Jenna (Acro teacher) are unbelievably talented.
If you want to enroll your child in a dance school, this is the place.

We are so grateful to all of the phenomenal instructors at The Studio School of Dance. It is incredible to witness how motivated my daughter is to learn and work as a team with the other children. My daughter began dancing with the Director, Ms. Vanessa, at the age of one while attending the Saw Mill Club Pre-School. She has been taught by the legendary Ms. Nina (my teacher as a kid) and at age 6 trains under the super talented Ms. Kelly. I am tremendously grateful for how the instructors believe in my daughter and I’m excited to see she will continue to grow at The Studio School of Dance.

What a wonderful studio! The recitals are well organized, fun and entertaining for all. Vanessa is a professional who is accepting and welcoming. The dancers are amazing and well prepared for their recitals and focused in class. I especially appreciate that all are accepted in any dance show, no matter their age, gender, size. There is so much body positivity and it’s a beautiful thing at a dance studio. They are doing such amazing work creating confident dancers! Highly recommend!

We could not be happier with our first year experience with "The Studio of Dance" MY daughter has always enjoyed dance and dance classes and as she got into her tweens expressed interest in dance competitions.
A trusted teacher in the dance field guided us to The Studio School of Dance. The teachers are skilled, caring and emotionally very supportive of their students. The owner is "hands on" and knows each child individually and gives excellent feedback to support each dancers strengths, interest and challenges. As a mother have found the studio to be a down to earth, fun and sound dance studio that is about the child and community without the harsh competitive edge that can be found in the dance community. We just had our first competition and pleased to report that our studio placed in many categories including the nationals. We are just thrilled!

The Studio is the best Dance School in Northern Westchester! Both of our daughters attend multiple classes at the school and we could not be happier. The facility is inside the Sawmill Club, it is clean, beautiful and modern. All dance teachers are extremely attentive, respectful, kind and caring. Administration always goes above and beyond to care for students and parents needs.
We highly recommend The Studio for kids of all ages and skill levels that are interested in dance.

My daughter has been dancing at The Studio since middle school. The Studio gave my daughter a community where she could really express herself through dance. My son is doing the hip-hop team at the Studio and the teacher, Andre Lee, is not only an amazing teacher but also an award winning choreographer. He is terrific.
Vanessa, the owner of the Studio , works hard to get top-notch teachers. She started a Tap team this year and managed to get a very talented tap teacher named Jimmy Tate . My older son took breakdancing from a guy name Ready who is also crazy good.
Vanessa cares a lot about her dance studio and about dance and also about her dancers. She is kind and caring and her optimism is contagious. If you're looking for a place that is kind and where your child can get better at dance --I highly recommend the Studio .

My daughter has been a very enthusiastic participant in classes here for 2 years. Her interest in dance flourished under the incredible direction of various instructors. Each week class was fun, engaging growth oriented while bringing an unparalleled element of fun and excitement for each child regardless of his/her technical ability level. Each child feels a sense of community and inclusiveness that isn’t easily replicable. I’m not sure what my daughter loves more ..... dancing or Miss Vanessa who’s effusive and infectious enthusiasm is a joy to be around. To further my positive experiences here we recently moved to California and to ensure my daughter still was able to participate and feel like she is part of the team still she joins in on zoom and gets equal parts of instruction and positive reinforcement as the students do who are physically present. All around The Studio brings the best teachers together to foster individual growth and instill a sense of pride and confidence with each meaningful interaction. We are new to the Studio within the last two months and we are so happy so far. We love the scheduling, weekend classes are such a nice option. The owner is wonderful, so warm and caring and helpful. The class format is awesome as well, a little ballet, a little tap, it’s perfect for my 7 year old. It has also felt so safe and clean during this crazy time of COVID and nothing better than in person classes!

My family has been dancing with The Studio for several years. My oldest daughter still comes back to bond with her teachers. My youngest has been with The Studio since she began formal dance lessons! 5 years ago Vanessa was the only studio owner that would take a dancer so young! This group is still dancing together. This studio has smaller classes, personal attention and a family atmosphere. With fun dance classes and amazing teachers all while teaching these kids to become incredible dancers. We also have gone into our second year of dance competition, it’s a low pressure school compare to many others, while still allowing your child the thrill of competition!
