I've been training with Izzy for almost a year now, and I can’t recommend him enough. With a hectic work schedule, it’s been tough to stay consistent, but Izzy made getting back into the gym feel manageable and fun. The location is super convenient for anyone in the Williamsburg area. He’s supportive and really knows how to tailor workouts to your needs. I’ve seen real progress both physically and mentally—he’s helped me build a routine I can actually stick to.

I’ve been with this gym for about 4 months now, and working with Izzy has probably been my best experience with a trainer so far. I have a chronic neck injury, and Izzy’s training has always taken that into account. It’s incredible helpful when he explains the physics and the impact of the movements on specific muscles/muscle groups. He clearly knows what he’s doing, and best of all, he knows how to work with different body types. Izzy can also help you with meal planning/calorie tracking outside of 1 on 1 training. I think group classes will be coming soon, so really looking forward to that and hope others try it out with me!

This is my first time working with a personal trainer, and it's been amazing. I couldn't recommend Izzy more! I was nervous to start working 1:1 with someone, but wish I could go back in time and tell myself to just get started. Izzy is incredible. I haven’t had the best experience with trainers and also struggled to be consistent with training but Izzy makes it easy and accessible. I’ve been seeing Izzy for 4 months and meet with him weekly. I’ve lost weight (which I didn’t think was possible) and I’ve gained muscle. Tysm, Izzy! Izzy truly takes a holistic approach to his work, taking the time to understand his trainees' goals and motivations and lifestyles.
The strength training program is challenging and fun, and only made better by the details Izzy offers about adjustments and effects of different techniques. But it's his coupling of strength training with practical nutritional advice that sets him apart from other programs. While I've long understood that I should "eat more protein," it is Izzy's recommendation of plant-based protein powders and daily protein intake goals that has helped me to actually do it and see the results. He also makes it a point to take the time to unpack the science and research behind his recommendations.
I'm a couple months in now, and looking forward to continuing this journey!

Izzy is an amazing personal trainer and nutritionist! I had been wanting to add strength training to my exercise routine for a while since I wasn't seeing the progress I wanted with my old routine, which consisted of riding the Peloton and doing yoga. At this point, I've been seeing Izzy once a week for almost 3 months and I've seen some incredible progress!
Izzy is very knowledgeable about strength training. He's great at explaining and demonstrating how to do the exercises properly. I really enjoy the strength routine he has put together for me, and I love how he's always introducing new exercises.
I also really love how Izzy incorporates kickboxing into his program. It provides a bit of cardio to my training as well as introduces me to some self defense techniques. Plus, it's really fun to smash the pads!
Izzy is also very knowledgeable about nutrition. He has helped me establish calorie and macro goals to help me lose weight, and he provides great information about what supplements to take. He has also introduced me to the wonders of green smoothies!
I highly recommend Izzy to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer who cares about you and who will help you get results!

Izzy is awesome! He is very communicative, encouraging and highly knowledgeable. He not only focuses on teaching the fundamentals of each exercise but also modifies the technique to best suit my anatomy (I’ve got looong bones haha). Izzy is always citing recent literature and studies when providing info on fitness and nutrition during our sessions and provides gentle guidance and improvements when reviewing my food diary. The workouts themselves are a ton of fun: a mix of kickboxing cardio and resistance training with weights and bands — I always leave class sweating AND recover very well in the days that follow without being super achey. Plus I know how to do a round house kick now! I can’t recommend Izzy enough and look forward to our continued partnership in the new year!!

I've been training with Izzy for a few years as well, now, and he's gone from personal trainer to a good friend. He cares SO MUCH about the health, happiness, and quality of life of his clients - reaching out to check on you if you're sick, keeping up on modern exercise science, and curating workouts to fit your needs any given day.
Izzy created his own app where he customizes workouts for you that you can easily track on the app. He even offers nutritional help! I'm a vegetarian and he provides helpful tips and recipes for me.
Izzy's classes (for me) are a fun mix of heavy weightlifting and kickboxing and core work. I complain A LOT and he always has a smile on his face and keeps the positivity and energy up.
I recommend Izzy to everyone in search of a trainer who CARES about you and doesn't just do the job because they have a hot bod and don't know what else to do with it. Izzy knows the science, puts in the work himself with you, and always pushes you to achieve and EXCEED your dreams.
Oh and PS - I used to hate doing squats. And I still do. But I do them all the time now and I have a butt!

Izzy really knows his stuff. He stays up to date on the latest evidence based studies and always shares his knowledge on nutrition and exercise. When I ask him for advice on anything, he seems to really have a good grasp on things. Current nutrition info and current proper workout techniques vs. general improper advice that has been followed in the past, and then he will send me links and provide me with evidence to back it up. He will always provide me with sources to back up his knowledge. The workouts are always great, and his guidance on calorie tracking, and setting personal goals are always on point. Definitely worth the investment.

Izzy is so warm and welcoming and is very patient and understanding with people who are too self conscious to go to a full on gym setting, especially when you have no idea what you’re doing. He is super thorough and invested in his clients, and works hard to understand underlying health conditions or previous injuries and teaches you ways to work out safety so you don’t exacerbate previous injuries. I cannot say enough good things about him. I could never imagine in my life ME lifting weights and doing boxing moves, but here I am! He keeps track of where we are in our workout
plan and each workout is thoughtfully tailored to where I’m at, and slowly introduces new ways to work out each session. I’ve only been going a few weeks, 3 times a week, and as a person who has never exercised in her life, actually likes going to sessions, and I’m already noticing how much im improving. Izzy is the coolest dude and so easy to talk to and he is SO knowledgeable about anatomy and the scientific evidence for the most efficient and safe way of working out. I have been working out with Izzy for a month now and I am hooked! I always look forward to our sessions! I have struggled with weight and body image my whole life. I have been up and down between being fit and healthy and not so fit and healthy over the years. From 2020 until now, I had a very rough and difficult year between losing my mother and my husband becoming seriously ill. Thank god, he is on the road to recovery, but through all of this, I lost my way and was not taking care of myself the way I needed to. I put on weight and was no longer feeling good about myself. Thanks to Izzy, I am starting to find my way again towards getting fit and healthier. Izzy is positive, encouraging, and supportive. He challenges you to go past your comfort zone while supporting and guiding you in the process. All this time, I thought that I was unable to squat low due to a flexibility issue, Izzy showed me, that that was not true, and I am able to squat lower now. I would give a 10-star review if I could! You can tell that Izzy enjoys what he does, and it shows in his dedication to his clients. I highly recommend working out with him. You get a great workout with a combination of weight training, kickboxing, and some basic self -defense moves. You also get great nutritional guidance and recipes! Book a session with Izzy and the workout plant, you won't regret it!

I’ve taken a lot of thought and Care and to posting my review.
i’ve been seeing Izzy for almost 3 years. Not only have I become stronger and more resilient in that time, but I’ve also become a better person. Beyond valuable information of becoming more fit and being able to perform my job better, Izzy has become something of a life coach to me.
I take both his nutritional and athletic advice as well as his practical life advice as valuable information towards being a better human being. I truly look forward to our time together, even though I personally don’t love working out. That says A LOT! With his encouragement, I see this as an opportunity to grow and reflect as a human being. My time with him is something I do for myself; A treat I usually don’t indulge in in my normal life.
I am not vegan, and so at times I have worried that I would be at odds with his philosophy. But at no point does Izzy ever judge me based on my food preferences. He always tries to steer me in a more aware and health-conscious direction. No judgement. He has nutritional insight that helps me make better decisions. This is something that I find is lacking in other personal trainers.
I am very much a different woman now than when I met Izzy 3 years ago. I have grown immensely as a human, and a businesswoman. I not only visit him for my health, I also see him for his insight on complications I experience in my daily life. He always has practical and realistic advice. He is the equivalent of my hairstylist! (I’m a stylist that has no stylist!); Someone that I can confide in and who sees the best in me.
He’s worth every single penny! And in these financially tough times it may be hard to justify having a personal trainer. That said Izzy is a luxury that I absolutely could never give up! He challenges me to use my body in ways that I have never thought to do. And I truly am stronger and more able to perform my physically exhausting job as a result. I used to be so tired. I can tell you that I feel light, and energetic when I see him. This is something that positively affects my daily life. I see a true physical change in my person.
I am in a public facing business; It’s physically taxing and mentally exhausting. In the time that I’ve known Izzy I’ve done a lot of development as a person.; No doubt through his guidance and belief in me. I’m able to do impressive physical tasks!
But there are so many other positive changes in my personal life that I cannot size up, I left my job as a stylist working for someone else and built my own business,; Because Izzy advised me to do so; he saw my potential., before I did! And through encouragement from Izzy I’ve found the strength to pursue my own thing, which has lead much success in my business life..
I have no reservations about ever referring my own personal clients to him. I say this because it’s something I would never do normally. I truly believe that any person could benefit from just one or three days a week with this man. I have encouraged my staff and friends alike to visit him and they all have a consistent positive reviews of their experience. I believe in him enough to put my own reputation on the line. My twin sister and boyfriend both see him three days a week. I have personal clients that see him as well!
Lastly I never feel like another number with Izzy.. I feel as though my sessions are truly catered to what I both need, and enjoy. If you’re looking for an amazing workout Izzy is a no-brainer. That said, he’s so much more than an amazing personal trainer.

I have 22 years of fitness under my belt and was injured with a lot of weight loss when I was referred to Izzy. Izzy is a world of knowledge on fitness and nutrition. I went to him back in late March 2021 at a bodyweight of 158lbs. 14 months later I peaked as high as 193lbs and hovering at 185-188 currently for upcoming summer. With his help I plan to break 200lbs this winter and maintain it. Izzy understood I wanted to follow a vegan diet and adjusted my nutrition and supplementation for vegans. Whatever you are looking for I'm certain he will help you get there. I work with him to this day and will continue to do so moving forth.

I had an amazing experience training with Izzy. I was a complete novice about strength training before and he helped give me the knowledge and a plan to kickstart a transformation of my body.
