Beautiful location to host an event.
Marta, the owner, was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Our audience fell in love with the space, felt cozy and grounded.
The studio is very clean and has a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend it if you are looking to rent this venue for an event.

I took the Sunday reset class, which was low impact and relaxing. The studio is beautifully lit and decorated to invite calm, cozy vibes.
I wish the mats were further apart or staggered, as it was a little crowded, and I bumped into my neighbors during mountain pose and twists.

Absolutely incredible - I just finished the sunrise flow with Marta. I don’t typically go for morning classes but I know I’ll be back again many times for this one.
The space itself is calm and artistic and instructor was wonderful and accommodating. I’d never experienced a true progressive body warm up in yoga like this before - excited to start more days like this.

Stunning Space, it's a little tricky to find and once you find it, and go upstairs, it's SO worth it <3 <3 <3

Hosting a workshop with Third Door was nearly seamless. The space is pristine and warm and open. Marta was professional and helpful in everything.
The space radiates gentle warmth and rigorous care. The windows provide some sky and views, soft light, and a sense of openness. Yet the space still feels private. We very comfortably hosted 16 people, in 8 couples, doing floor exercises.
Beautiful mood lighting and a fine Sonos speaker system are available for use. Marta provides dozens of high-quality yoga mats, hard foam blocks, and cleaning supplies. Everything is impeccably clean and orderly, in a way that remains warm and inviting. The art is choice, and the aroma fragrant.
We look forward to hosting more workshops with Third Door.

My wife and I were in Brooklyn for an EDM festival and decided to take the 12 PM yoga class with Val beforehand. I’d been dealing with some lower back pain and thought yoga might help before all the standing and dancing. I also hadn’t done yoga in over two years, and when I mentioned that to Val, she immediately reassured me to go at my own pace. Her class was warm, positive, and grounding, and the studio had such a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Val even came by during a few poses to offer gentle one-on-one assistance that really helped me stretch and loosen up. By the end of class, my back felt so much better and I felt fully recharged for the rest of the day. Whenever I’m back in Brooklyn, I’ll definitely be taking another class with Val!

Marta's yoga studio is one of the most intentional spaces I've ever been to in NYC. Her classes are thoughtful and creative, and the events I've attended in this space are community-centered and uplifting. I got a membership after attending a few classes--so worth it! And they accept Class Pass. Highly recommend yoga and events here.

My first visit to this newly established yoga studio in my DUMBO neighborhood. Marta and Val were so welcoming. Took the lunchtime reset class. Amazing. We need more third places like this in our world. So glad they moved in.

I attended my first Sunset Flow yoga class at Third Door Brooklyn this past week and had an incredible experience! I highly recommend taking one of Marta's classes, as she really does a phenomenal job of guiding you through a practice and flow that feels like a warm hug. The little acts of presence that she does for her students during Savasana is a spiritual experience, and you are offered tea and gentle conversations if you aren't quite ready to up and leave the studio as soon as class ends. Third Door is bringing Brooklyn and yoga back to more spiritual, community based roots and fills the hole of what I felt like has been missing in my yoga practice ever since I moved to NYC.

Third door is such an incredible space that immediately makes you feel calm & welcomed no matter who you are or what level of yoga you have mastered. Marta’s class gave me permission to completely relax and tune out all of my stress at the end of a long day. I’m so excited to continue taking yoga classes and engaging with all of the community events that this haven has to offer!! don’t walk, skip over to third door asap !
