That was the best experience ever! I’m so grateful to all the teachers who shared their energy and knowledge with us. I also met amazing people and made real friends along the way. I completed my 200hr YTT with Three Sisters Yoga and it was life changing! Jen, the owner and lead instructor, has decades of experience in teaching yoga and YTT and has created an accessible program that goes beyond just learning asana and exposes you to the other 7 limbs of yoga. You will also be exposed to a diverse representation of yoga teachers and yoga styles taught by her amazing co-instructors. I came out of this training stronger physically, mentally and spiritually. I would recommend this program to all interested in getting certified as a yoga teacher or those who simply want to deepen their knowledge and personal practice.

I’m so grateful I chose this program for my teacher training. What stood out most to me was how truly student-centered it felt. Jen created a supportive and welcoming environment, and she was flexible with things like make-up hours and balancing in-person and virtual options, which made the program much more accessible compared to many of the other trainings I evaluated.
Another aspect I loved was that we learned from a variety of teachers, not just her (although she is awesome 🙃!!). That diversity exposed us to different teaching styles and approaches, which really broadened my perspective and helped me start to find my own voice as a teacher.
When I came into training, I was mostly focused on the asana practice and thought yogic philosophy would be “over my head.” But the way it was taught made it approachable and meaningful. I ended up getting a lot out of the elements beyond the physical practice and really enjoyed the education!
I am leaving this program not only with tools to teach but also with a deeper, more holistic understanding of yoga and my own practice. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a training that prioritizes students’ growth and authenticity!!

I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training here and loved it so much that I’m back for the 300-hour program! Jen has created such a welcoming and supportive environment where students can truly learn, grow, and deepen their practice. The location is super convenient, and with the expanded space, even more students can experience this incredible community. I also love the diversity of the teaching staff—each instructor brings unique wisdom and expertise, making the training experience even more enriching. Highly recommend this studio for anyone looking to advance their yoga journey!

The instructors are skilled practitioners who have a deep understanding and passion for yoga as well as a patient and supportive teaching approach. TSY offers a supportive community, practical experience, and guides you toward personal growth in mindfulness and self-awareness. It was truly an incredible experience!

I took a 200-hr teacher training. I loved the experience! The curriculum was very well-rounded. The leaders of the training and the people they brought in were very strong instructors who seemed to really honor the origins of yoga as a practice. It was amazing how transformative the intensive was, over a relatively short amount of time. It was a great foundation to the yoga teaching I’ve been able to do since then. I would highly recommend any of their trainings.

There are so many YTTs to choose between, and I am so glad I chose TSY! The teachers are mindful and unique, and the curriculum gives a broad taste of the different aspects of yoga, while also making sure to give students the opportunity to dig into pieces they're most interested in. I finished this program feeling that I could teach a safe and creative class, and excited to continue my yoga journey.

I did my 200-hour YTT with Three Sisters Yoga and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I hunted around for a very long time and looked into countless different studios and schools hoping to stumble into the right one and Three Sisters is the one that called to me. I LOVE that Three Sisters is geared solely toward teaching would-be teachers, rather than a yoga studio that offers training on the side; you feel this in the focus and extremely well thought out curriculum that Jen offers. With multiple course options, there’s room to grow and fine-tune your practice and teaching style over time. Jen is very knowledgeable - her attention to detail, ways of explaining different concepts, dedication to her students and work, and vibrant personality made the teacher training so enjoyable and digestible even when everyone was tired amidst their full-time work weeks. I absolutely loved meeting and connecting with the other students in my training and maintained relationships with some of them after the course. I loved being offered an open-ended approach to yoga where we discussed various aspects of it and were able to really think about what area we want to focus on as individuals and speak with multiple instructors that focused on different areas and connect with them as well. I loved meeting all of the different instructors that we were introduced to and learning their approaches to their individual crafts. I learned so much from this teacher training, both on how I could improve my personal practice and very invaluable lessons on how to teach others. Another great thing is that Jen continues to offer opportunities to past students, talk about community building. Seriously, look no further - you’ll be so happy you did it.

Joining Three Sisters Yoga is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself! As a woman of color who typically feels alienated in a lot of yoga spaces, I was blown away by how safe and seen I felt during my teacher training. All the teachers are incredibly thoughtful and kind, and I was always encouraged to go at a pace that works for me in my yoga journey. The discussions we had were incredibly insightful, and everyone in the TSY community is so supportive. If you’re on the fence, do it!!

Three Sisters Yoga was where I took my first 200-hour yoga teacher training, and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a flexible, hybrid but mostly in-person, and well-rounded YTT program. Three Sisters Yoga incorporates a variety of different instructors throughout the 200 hours, though it is mostly led by one person (Jen), whose care, attention to detail, and thoroughness in her own self-study and the program she has designed is apparent. Before I completed the 200 hours, I underestimated just how little time that actually was in relation to what we would need to cover, yet Three Sisters Yoga managed to do so. The YTT covers a wide range of everything you need to know to the lay the groundwork for your practice and where you'll go next with your own journey—whether that ultimately includes teaching or not. I felt like my yoga practice was deepened in ways I did not anticipate, and afterwards, I felt prepared to begin teaching. The cherry on top was making several new friends and having an enriching and joyful experience.

Teacher training programs come in all shapes and styles. Some lean more into the consumer wellness industry than others. If yoga teacher training has felt inaccessible to you for any reason (financial cost, lack of diversity and representation, emphasis on physical fitness, etc.), know that Three Sisters Yoga has designed a program that consciously addresses each of these aspects of the yoga industry.
I came to Three Sisters Yoga (TSY) for its intentional curriculum and its community of teachers who draw from a wide array of teachings and styles. Because TSY offers only yoga teacher training, there isn't the pressure you'd get at other studios to learn a studio-specific style that might restrict how you show up as a teacher. All is allowed and all is welcomed at TSY. There is no sense of restriction of the type of yoga or teaching you can offer after you graduate.
What I most appreciate about TSY is the program's willingness to continue to learn and adapt to be as inclusive as possible. I have no doubt that each iteration of TSY's 200-hour offering will continue to improve and uplift those who might otherwise not have considered yoga teacher training. If you want to discover what you uniquely are able to offer the world through deepening your yoga practice, come learn and grow with TSY.

Three Sisters Yoga is a well rounded program that deepened my practice and brought me into a loving and diverse community.
I'm grateful for the variety of teachings shared and for the attention to yogic studies beyond asana. I completed the 200 hr and soon after enrolled in the 300hr and began my teaching journey. Having now taught at multiple studios around the city, I am confident in saying that this studio offers a special variety of instructors, content, and values that will propel one's studentship.

I completed my 200 hour training with Three Sisters Yoga earlier this year. I truly encourage anyone looking for a yoga teacher training to look no further than TSY. The community, guidance, and support of Jen and the teachers made the program a wonderful experience. In my cohort, we had a wide range of yoga experiences and desires to become teachers or just learn more about the history, practice, and poses of yoga. The training is truly for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge and experience with yoga. The program challenged the way I practiced yoga but also how I approached meditation and other aspects of my life. The teachers made each day informative and fun. I took away so many lessons and I feel lucky to be part of the TSY community!

Life changing. Perspective shifting. Inclusive. Intentional. I am sooooo grateful to have been given TSY as a recommendation for my instructor training. I looked into other trainings prior to, but throughout my whole training I knew no place could offer what the TSY team does. I felt so empowered in a way that will certainly impact my future students. Jen, Kate, all the instructors who support the work at TSY are invaluable. Literally every instructor is a master at their craft. It’s not just their knowledge, but it’s also the way trainees are nurtured to develop the mental, informational and physical knowledge necessary to thrive as a yoga instructor. I beg of you, end your search now. TSY is where you need to be!!

I did my 200hr yoga teacher training at Three Sisters last fall and cannot recommend it enough! Jen and her team are extremely knowledgable and are all excellent instructors. Not only did I learn so much about teaching yoga, this training deepened my yoga practice tremendously, taught me about the history and philosophy of yoga, and left me with countless invaluable lessons. Absolutely wonderful experience. Exactly what I was looking for in my yoga teacher training journey - not just a deep dive into Asana but a thorough walkthrough of the history and philosophy of yoga as well. I’m so grateful for all that I learned and the connections I made at Three Sisters Yoga. The program was intense - but in the best way. I really appreciated the well-rounded scope of material and the exposure to different topics through different instructors. Could not have asked for a better 200hr YTT.

I did my 200-hour, one-month intensive training at Three Sisters in January, and I loved every minute of it. It was a very rewarding experience, and Jen and the rest of the staff ensured that we were getting everything out of it we needed. The staff and students are from diverse backgrounds and provide a variety of important perspectives. When I was doing my research on where to take my training, I was drawn to TSY due to its inclusion of the aspects of yoga outside of asana, and the program really followed through on its claims. I would definitely recommend TSY to anyone who is looking for an RYT program. :)

Did my 200 hour training here and really enjoyed the program. Jen does a great job making students feel welcome while holding them accountable to their own learning and growth as teachers. Classes are a great size, plenty of opportunity to ask questions, learn and be a part of diverse and lively group learning and teaching activities. The guest teachers that were a part of the training were so wonderful; you really get introduced to a whole network of TSY folks with tons of knowledge and skills. Also plenty of lessons on applying what you learn in the program to your teaching life afterwards. Highly recommend if you are thinking about furthering your studies in yoga!

Three sisters yoga 200hr teacher training provided me with a balanced, open-ended platform where I could push the boundaries of my own body and mind. Beyond the enlightened moments of wisdom, inspiration, and release, the pure joy I found in my training came from the sense of community that is inherent to three sisters. The path of yoga is an overwhelmingly beautiful journey. Through this training, I was exposed to unlimited possibilities, demonstrated by the dynamic and diverse group of experienced teachers, all of whom remain a constant source of support and resources. Three sisters yoga has motivated me to confidently embrace the world and my teaching with the kind of love the Beatles sing about.

Can't express my gratitude for this place! Got my 200 hours from them and then my 300 hours yoga teacher training. Their teachers are very knowledgeable on many subjects: meditation, anatomy, hands on adjust, philosophy. Loved Jen - she is a very practical teacher. At the end of my 200 hour yoga training I was ready to teach yoga right a way. Got my first yoga job in about one month.
Thanks a lot!
