Underground Training is a boutique fitness studio on the North Fork of Long Island. Group classes are available in studio with class sizes ranging from 8-15 people.
Circuit and HIIT classes are the most intense and may not be suitable for everyone. LIFT, Body Sculpt and Kettlebells are all classes that can be modified for beginners.
Class sizes are small and booking in advance is a must. You can book through the Underground Training app or through the website. A mat is required for all classes or one cane be rented for $3. Please change into your training sneakers when you arrive.
Private and small group training is also available at the studio. Please send an email if you are interested or have any questions.

Very much enjoyed the class, however, be careful to purchase any packages as expiration dates were apparently in fine print and not clearly disclosed and even if you have 8 lessons left out of ten they are wasted and non transferable.

Katie is the Best: motivating, knowledgeable, fun! As a fitness professional myself, I have high standards. She exceeded allβ¦uses a mic for every class, changes up sequences and equipment, observes and corrects students, does not workout with the class!!! Thanks for all.

When seeking a trainer for my son, it was important to find someone not only with knowledge but with patience and compassion. We have been lucky to find it all with Katie! As a young man with extra needs, Katie provides both a safe space and an encouraging and motivating environment. Amazing workouts that are not too technical in a friendly, open, supportive and welcoming environment. The classes are great bc I can just drop in, get an intense workout, and be sore the next 2 days which always feels good. Wish I knew of this place sooner! .

Guaranteed great workout every. single. time. First thing I do after booking a trip to the North Fork is get on UG's schedule of classes. Workouts are fun, challenging, and never boring. You won't do the same workout twice, and the community of regular UG'ers is super welcoming and motivating. This place is a true NoFo gem.

Katie was beyond amazing! I scheduled a private class for my best friends bachelorette party and we had so much fun! Underground fitness helped kickstart my summer workout routine. Katie does a fantastic motivator and instructor - she takes the time to explain each part of the work out and more importantly - how it should feel as you are going through the motions. The short 30 to 45 minutes classes make it easy to schedule into your day but really pack a punch in terms of a workout. Her classes are perfect for all levels- donβt feel intimated by signing up for that very first class- you will be hooked!
