These transformative classes combine the motivation and high energy of group fitness classes with the personal attention of small group training.
You will learn and regularly build upon foundational movements and sequences, yet no two classes are ever exactly the same. You will continue to grow and be challenged in every single workout...and at YOUR pace.

I LOVE the Uplift Yoga and Strength Community! I've been attending classes regularly for over a year now and what a difference it has made! Significant improvements in my body composition and overall health and wellness. April, Kate and Taylor are incredible teachers - they all bring their own unique flare of warmth, intention and motivation to each class. I particularly love the padded floors, warm yoga and mix of strength classes as well. The community is so welcoming and sweet; I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to belong / improve their health!

Now that I've done a few classes here, I've wanted to share my review. I am a KravMaga student that is in the same building and I got peer pressured into trying a yoga class with April by some of my classmates.
I will say that I was a bit weary of doing this because I'm a big guy (6'3" 275lbs). Also, while I know some very basic Yoga vocabulary, I was worried about 'keeping up' with the class.
What I discovered was an incredibly welcoming environment with a pace and a flow that I have found to be incredibly easy to follow. April is great about encouraging everyone to do what feels best to them and is great at providing both instruction on proper form and also alternative ways to get the best out of you.
Every class I have learned something new that my body can do and I now look forward to each class to learn what else I am able to achieve.
So if you're like me, a big guy who doesn't exactly fit the stereotypical 'yoga-person', but are looking to give it a try, I would highly recommend you sign up for a class!

I just started going to Aprils classes a little over a month ago and I absolutely love them! I really love the yoga flow class in particular, you really get a great work out, get a sweat going and do a lot of good stretching and balancing. I also particularly love the cold lightly scented towel on your forehead when you cool down and relax at the end! I have also done the Strength and Conditioning class with April and that is also a fantastic class that I would highly recommend for a great, fun workout. Overall if you are looking for a studio to go to, I highly recommend Uplift!

Absolutely love April & her classes. I wanted to start going to yoga classes to help with my anxiety, but I was a bit nervous to go being it was my first time and I had little knowledge on anything yoga. To anyone struggling with the same, there is absolutely no reason to hesitate! April made me feel so comfortable and like I belonged there from the second I walked in. Everyone is at different levels and so kind... you dont feel out of place or judged at all. Everyone is in their own space of mind and doing their own thing, yet together. Its truly all around an amazing place, with amazing people, and an amazing experience. I highly highly recommend. It was a perfect reset for my nervous system, super calming and a breath of fresh air. Im so glad I went! I will definitely be coming to many more classes!

The yoga instruction is amazing. The classes are full, but not packed where it is uncomfortable. Great atmosphere as well.
You can go at your own pace or push yourself when you are ready.
I have greatly enjoyed Yin Yoga, and have seen surprisingly quick improvement in my flexibility as well. They have other classes for more exercise based flexibility training, but I just loved Yin for how relaxing it was. I would definitely recommend trying it if you are new to yoga. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would, and I can’t wait to improve more.

I tried around 20 classes within the Buffalo / Clarence / Williamsville area and April’s was by far the best. She is an absolutely wonderful teacher — you will feel guided, supported, and welcomed by her and her teaching. You can tell she really cares about her students and her business. Please don't hesitate to try this studio-(the first class is free). Locally owned by April, who is an amazing teacher! She makes you feel capable, safe and welcomed. The classes always feel fresh and April watches over us- providing alternate poses for each level of skill. Uplift is the perfect name for this studio! Each class is like therapy for your body and mind and makes you feel amazing. The classes are challenging enough to encourage you to grow and better yourself, but modifications are offered and demonstrated so you can adjust to what's right for you in that moment. April’s program is really amazing. The classes are dynamic, not one of them is the same from week to week. Always pushing us to our best potential. I get a better workout there than I ever have. I’m down 20 lb and it just keeps getting better. They are attentive to if you have injuries you are rehabbing and give you alternative exercises as needed for your situation. The yoga is challenging but also great for the mind. You leave feeling refreshed and focused. Kate also does a great job with the classes she runs. If you have the ability to try this program then you really should. I would give ten stars if I could.

I cannot say enough about Uplift Yoga and Strength! I have been attending classes there regularly for several months. From the minute I walked in, I felt a warm, inviting, and very friendly atmosphere. The classes are upbeat, challenging, and fun. The instructors are so encouraging and helpful. Modifications and challenges are offered throughout the class and the vibe is always positive. No matter what the sequence or pose- there’s something for everyone. The biggest thing I noticed right away- was a sense of community. Sometimes that’s hard to find…but not at Uplift Yoga and Strength. I’m so glad to be a part of this studio!

Uplift Yoga is a truly unique experience! April calms my mind and stretches my body to it’s limits. April and Kate are amazing with some of their poses! They both challenge us while keeping poses safe for all! I recommend this class to all ages and levels of yoga! You will be pleased with your progress each week! I also take Train 360 with Kate Duffy. I like how she personalizes each class to her students needs. I mentioned I had a cranky knee and she modified poses so I could safely enjoy class! Kate will encourage us to go to our limits but in a safe way! I enjoy her sense of humor and knowledge of the body! Class is fun and all ages will enjoy her classes! This is a great weight training experience!

I have been working out with April for quite some time and I continue to maintain my strength and cardiovascular fitness through her challenging but modifyable classes. April Krantz is the best fitness instructor I've ever encountered. I'm 69 and I've been exercising off and on for about 30 years in various cities in 3 different countries. April outshines every instructor I've ever had. She is unbelievably talented and versatile in her instruction, and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of body, nutrition and health. If she were in Hollywood or New York she would be able to command a hundred times what she charges here Buffalo for her instruction and I can't believe that she has not already been poached as a personal instructor by some wealthy person here.

April is amazing! She is an incredible instructor, her knowledge education and expertise in physical fitness is evident in every class. She watches everyone. I’ve been working out for years, form is everything when it comes to body sculpting, and she pays attention to everybody’s form in an effort to achieve results. I recently moved out of state, but when I come back I always try to fit in her class! 😊
