The Utica University Nexus Center is a 169,440 square foot facility conveniently located off the New York State Thruway in Utica, NY. Opened in November of 2022, the Nexus Center features state of the art amenities to make it a tournament destination.
The Utica University Nexus Center features three multipurpose 200ft. x 85ft. playing surfaces that can be utilized as ice sheets or turf. Each one of these ice sheets has the functionality to allow them to be utilized as turf or ice, or any combination of such. The Nexus Center will be connected by a walkway to the historic Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium, which brings the total up to four surfaces for sports tournaments.

Very clean & updated facility. Kids had a good time at the Utica Comets Cup Tournament. We also went to a Comets game, which was kid friendly and reasonably priced.

Easy to get too and plenty of parking.main rink is very nice the other two and good but there is no separation so whistles can be heard on both pads which can interfere with the game. Great viewing from above

Love this rink. Parking is easy. The cafe area is great. Three rinks that are easy to get to. One has amazing seats and the other two have nice vantage points from catwalk.
Connected to the ADK Bank Center and with multiple events, you can get between buildings without having to go outside.
Only issue is the pro shop not open enough. Not many places locally cater to hockey player needs and the more that is open, the better to get skates sharpened and buy some on-ice needs.

I don't often Write reviews, But I felt in this case it was well warranted. I purchased tickets to an event this weekend, and my card was double charged. I called to inquire, And although we found out that the arena did not have any control over this, and it was in fact my bank at fault, The arena staff, Namely Tyler, Was incredibly helpful with rectifying this issue! Thanks guys! Great work!

I wish this was around when my son played hockey but now I get to enjoy it with my grandson. If I could change anything with this place I would say for them to put some stools or chairs in rink two and three. Sometimes it's very hard to stand there especially when you have to watch two games in one day.

Utica spends hundreds of thousands of dollars to put in a sports complex but thereβs nowhere in the entire city to play basketball indoors. Good thing we have an ice skating rink for all 7 of those avid hockey players that live here in central New York :l. Iβve lived in this city my entire life and not once in 28 years have I met a single person who plays hockey. None of the schools in the area have a hockey team but we have a state of the art arena in our backyard for what? Spend money on things the community can actually use and enjoy instead of something only entitled rich kids will ever use.

This is a really nice facility in the heart of downtown Utica. I was worried about parking during the last event I attended there, but there were plenty of spots available.
