The instructors are very patient. They ensure everyone is getting the best out of their training.

They keep good records of each students process and ensure they make it to the next level of training with the belt to match.

They make a big deal out of celebrating each student whenever they get to the next
belt, which I believe is amazing.

They have an amazing 30-day free summer program that everyone should get their kids involved with. It was definitely fun and helpful in learning discipline and attention to detail.

I’m very very happy with Victory Martial Arts. A lot of the programs don’t do much with the kids but this place really is amazing! My 10yr Eli and 5yr old Ava LOVE all the senses and my husband who has black belt in Korean fighting styles loves this school for the kids and he is a very hard man to impress. 5stars I recommend if you’re looking for the total package discipline, structure, conditioning and training come to Victory Martial arts !!!!!!!

Very rude. My son is 5. He has adhd and I’ve been trying to find something to help keep him focused. We did 2 free classes and then he told me it was $89 every 2 weeks. Which was great for me. I paid the $89 which he took $105 off of my card. It was fine as long as my son wanted to do it. After the 1st 2 paid classes my son no longer wanted to do it. I called him a week before my next payment was due to explain this to him and he told me I signed up for a 4 month commitment. HE NEVER TOLD ME THAT. he told me it was $89 every 2 weeks and I can cancel anytime. Then he proceeds to argue with me saying if I can’t afford it why would I sign him up. Sir I never said I couldn’t afford it. I said my son doesn’t like your classes. He then asked me how I was going to pay for the uniforms he gave my son. I said I will gladly give them back ( he only wore them twice) but since you don’t want them back how much. He told me $80 and I told him I could come on Monday and pay for it. He said so you were just going to skip out on your next payment. Noo I was not. If he was gonna keep doing it it would have been paid for and I don’t have freee time to just go 40 min away to drop money off to you until Monday.
He was and is very rude. And my personal business is not his business. Also he never told me it was a 4 month commitment or I would’ve never signed my son up because he doesn’t stick to things too long. He’s 5 and doesn’t know what he likes yet. Just rude. The last time we were there for a class he got into a screaming match bc he kept telling me and another parent to come at 615 instead of the regular class for “private sessions” and then proceeded to tell both of us that we need to come to the regular classes bc he can’t keep doing the 615 classes. Sir I was gonna come to the regular classes. You called me and told us to come to class at 615. Very unorganized unprofessional and very very rude.
EDIT: he saw my review and he called me and left a voicemail calling me a DEADBEAT and telling me I couldn’t afford it. Not once did I ever tell this man I couldn’t afford it. After the first initial 2 weeks I was going to ask him if I could pay monthly.

I called and asked what is the age requirements for this program. The owner stated 4&up. My son is 4. I booked a session with him for originally Sunday. My son got extremely sick. I notified this to him as soon I as I could. We made another appointment and I got there late to the class so my son wasn’t able to participate with the other kids he just watched so I had to reschedule we finally get here today. He has smart remarks on why we messed our “private session” on Sunday as if I didn’t explain on the phone before booking ANY sessions that my son gets extremely sick. So he goes on to say “ I drove a hour and half here and you weren’t here on Sunday “ Like sir , if you knew I told you my son gets sick and I explained that’s why we weren’t there , why make the remark ? And why continue to try to book sessions with me even after ? So he vegans to train my son , he only trained him for about 10 mins and gave up on him. He said he’s too young for the program. How so when it’s 4 and up ? Make it make sense. He didn’t even take the time to be patient with my son. He told me to come back in 6 months but I’ve already booked sessions somewhere else ! Good luck to anyone who takes their 4 years olds here. He isn’t patient at all.

My daughter loves coming to karate. The teachers are great and she has learned a lot and has also become more confident in herself. The price is reasonable and the classes are fun and a great learning experience. They also have fun activists planned once in awhile and involve parents and friends as well. It’s a great family oriented places.

I signed up my 4 year old son with John at Victory Karate around March 2019 for karate lessons. Wow what a mistake! In the beginning, John was so nice trying to stick us with his stupid 12 month contract (he got me)!!! And after a few weeks parents got letters of upgrading their kids ranks. My son is 4 and has no idea how these ranks work despite trying to explain the different color in belts. Ofcourse going up in rank cost money. When asked about going up the ranks John said he would be teaching the kids that upgraded. That was a lie. My kid stood in the same classes with the same “kids who actually paid for going up in rank” and whats so funny all the kids were doing the same exact Karate moves (kids who didnt pay and kids who went up in rank) LOL !!!!! My son was entertained in his karate classes taught by Jefferson for a couple of months just could not stay committed (hes 4 guys)!!!! John said he teaches the karate classes. That was a lie. So I decided to call John and let him know that my son was not interested and wanted to move on. This mans attitude and demeanor is disgusting. I really hope people who consider his place think twice. After him telling me that he feels bad for me in the future for dealing with a histerical kid who is quitting and who cries before karate and telling me maybe I need to stop doing fun things like going to the pool before karate maybe my son would be more enthusiastic about going to karate. He told me my 4 year old will look back at karate and how he is a quitter.
Then, he said membership is cancelled! I thought great okay I never have to see this man again. And as a courtesy still showed respect and thanked his business. Despite all this, I wanted to have amicable relationship with John but he is phony, rude and not a nice person. Then, later that day I read over his contract and called him to clarify because his contract said we had to give him 3 months notice before cancelling. So his exact words were, “I hate going over the same things twice I am in the middle of summer camp, I told you membership was in the dumpster how many times do I have to tell you?” And then very nicely he hung on me. Very very rude.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!
I would not have wasted 15 minutes of my time to write such a horrific review if he WERE actually genuine and worthy!

Just like a few other people said... they screw you over with the monthly charges. I went here for a bit liked it but due to schedule issues from work I couldn’t make it anymore. I reached out to the owner, he told me nope sorry can’t cancel “people don’t read their contracts.” At the same time he told me to give him a months notice at anytime and I could cancel. I gave him a few months! He continued to charge me! I reached out to my bank they advised me to talk to him again before they took any action. I then received a payment coupon book from a third party biller so I called them. They cdnt help. Finally after reaching out to the owner AGAIN! After 3-4 convos he agreed to cancel it bc I quoted what he wrote on my contract! He then continued to charge me for 3 months after! I called my bank they fought the charges. The third party biller sent me a collections notice. The gym wasn’t bad, the trainer, I forget his name, I think master Jefferson, was good but the owner is so damn shady! Beware! He takes advantage bc he’s the only one around that does boxing classes. I got bad vibes from him when I met him I should’ve trusted my instincts. Just be careful. If you feel like you may need to cancel down the line get it in writing that you can cancel.

Update: to mr garland... no you can’t locate my record because this is a nickname. Don’t want to use my real name online. I spoke with you so many times I feel like it’d be a waste to call you now. I won’t return to the class due to the way I was treated and you’re not going to refund the months of classes I was charged for yet couldn’t attend so what’s the point?

School is ok.. kids love it I'm happy. Director is horrible.. I cancelled me membership and he continued to debit my account 3 months after it was cancelled and refuses a refund. Is very rude as well. I will never come here again..

January 19,2019
You know exactly who I am. I had to change my bank account info just to cut you off. No refund was ever made and no apology was ever given. I'm owed 3 refunded months. He continued to take my money so be careful when u cancel your membership.

I LOVE this place. The classes are challenging yet fun, and the instructors are spot on. I struggle with social anxiety and I was incredibly nervous to give this a go; when I walked in, everyone was welcoming and encouraging. If you have ever wanted to give kickboxing a try, this is the place to be.

I absolutely love it here. It's the best work out I've ever gotten, the staff is awesome, and the workouts are incredibly challenging (in a fun way). Clean workout area, they have great quality boxing gear, and the other boxing goers are so nice! I recommend it for anyone who is looking to get out of the monotony of a stereotypical gym. The price is one of the best in the area and the quality of what you're getting is phenomenal!

Seems good at first, until you realize how deceitful their contract is about how much money you'll need to spend and for how long and then you're harassed with closed-door, high-pressure sales tactics to spend more and more. We've been conned then lied to. The facility has an odor, the parking lot is poorly lit with broken glass in places. It's a shame since the teachers of the classes are nice. For all that money, there must be other schools out there to use who actually have a proper Martial Arts curriculum to choose from.
