I passed by this place and thought it looked interesting and remember it was the location of a sound bath that I’ve been meaning to go to. I decided to go in and check out the atmosphere and order a coffee while I was there. When I walked in the lady behind the counter, looked at me like I had five heads as though I wasn’t welcome there. I was really taking aback because I’ve never had an encounter like that especially in what is supposed to be a spiritual space. I then proceeded to ask some questions purely out of curiosity, and I was responded to as if it was the last thing she wanted to be doing in that moment. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a place that is by It’s very nature supposed to be welcoming. I also saw a business card for a woman with a very rare name, but who also shares the same first name a local massage, therapist who is also an old friend and a coworker. I was then rudely snickered at when I realized that I was mixing the two people up, and it was almost as though she was accusing me of lying about knowing someone with the same name which was pretty interesting since the other is much more well-known around here being an olympic gold medalist as well. Not only that, but she made sure that she made it known to me that the one on the business card was just recently married as though I had some interest in pursuing her. The whole exchange was really awkward and super unprofessional for absolutely no reason at all. I’m so glad the person doing the sound baths is now doing them at a different location as well so that I never have to go there again. Needless to say, it was an unnecessarily, terrible experience and shameful for someone who’s supposed to be in the business of assisting people in their spiritual awakening. I would leave one star, except for the fact that I don’t believe this is how it is all the time or how everyone that walks through the door is treated whatsoever. Not sure what made me stand out to her and cause her to treat me like that, but she clearly doesn’t know me from a hole in the wall, although she acted as though she did. I don't go around treating anyone other than the way I myself would like to be treated and considering that is literally the Golden Rule shared by every religion and spiritual tradition on the planet that is rooted in truth and light, you would think it would go without saying that a place like this would operate in the same manner.

Beautiful studio full of musical instruments and a fireplace. The class I took today with Tommy was everything you could want and included pranayama and Asana, and lots of alignment information. Too often people get hurt in yoga classes because they throw themselves into poses without knowing how to do them properly, but that will not happen in his class, which I appreciate.

And then the cafe, oh my gosh it was very difficult to decide what to get but my drink was lovely looking and tasting. And the energy balls are as good as they get.

I've been taking classes at Vyana for years now. Helena is one of the most kind, caring, and knowledgeable yoga instructors I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her studio classes are one thing, and the tea lounge is a delightful pairing, as if it's spaghetti to meatballs. She has carefully crafted a menu of drinks and snacks from reputable sources, as well as having a hand in the creation of the menu items herself... I love this place so much...

I recently purchased the unlimited month of yoga and couldn’t be happier with the studio! I am always welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is so clean and beautifully decorated with calming colors and natural elements, filled with a sense of tranquility that immediately puts you at ease. The instructors are friendly and supportive to all levels of experience, each bringing their unique style and perspective to the classes. I especially love attending Tommy’s Ayurveda Yoga Flow because he walks you through the breath work with every move. Highly recommend!!

I had never been to a yoga class before-and i decided to try one. I went with my sister and mom and let’s just say we had the BEST time. The teacher was incredibly kind and worked through the movements with us. It was relaxing, fun and we had a good laugh too. You will definitely see me again! Highly recommend!

I’ve love the energy of this studio. A friend mentioned it and knowing nothing of yoga I tried a class. They have a wonderful introductory “new to Vyana” unlimited one month plan. It was less expensive than buying three drop in classes so I thought “why not”. Now I am hooked.
I have tried almost all the teachers classes and I can’t tell which I like best. In one month I’ve enjoyed 22 classes! Some even twice a day.
The benefits are enormous, increased muscle tone, balance and mood enhancement. I think more clearly and sleep better. Rheumatoid arthritis is more manageable. I’ve even lost a little weight.
Yes I’m still shaky in most of the poses and have some trouble maintaining balance, but every teacher gently shows you how to make your movement better or modify a pose to your ability.
The studio is beautiful with plenty of room. With the doors to the deck open you can hear the lovely sounds of the brook behind it.
Come in and take a look and enjoy a cup of pour over coffee, with a prana energy ball(mmm thin mint!). They have a lovely area to drink their specialties like chai or elderberry teas. There is too much here to mention; you have to experience it yourself. Bring a small dog treat for Jax and Lily. They will be your best friend.

You can “Go to yoga or “Come to Vyana.” I love Vyana, the studio space feels sacred; like a Sanctuary for Mind, Body & Soul..I feel blessed to have found this Community of caring, heart centered wonderful people. I returned to my Yoga practice after 1.5 yrs post concussion. The experience and personalized attention of the instructors has been pivotal in my recovery and my practice.
