Want to learn Olympic Weightlifting? This is the place to go. Artie, has decades of experience in the sport, not only will you receive an encyclopedia of knowledge on the sport itself but he will also adapt his coaching tailored to your own experience, athletic attributes, and training availability. When it comes to weightlifting it can often be tricky to start but I guarantee you, you’ll be in the right hands and come back with demonstrable improvements, week by week. He may be tough but he’s realistic and can build a program that will suit you as an individual athlete. When I first started I thought how could this program be so simple, yet pragmatic, and I’ve learned it’s absolutely necessary to nail the basics before moving up in weight and advancing.

There’s no place like Coach Artie’s gym. It’s an old-school Olympic lifting haven—no music, no fluff, just pure coaching, focus, and heavy lifting. The walls are lined with pictures of Olympic legends, and everything in the space—from the custom-engineered stretching setups to squat “cage” to the pull-up bars—reflects Coach Artie’s passion and dedication to the sport.
I came in with some lifting experience, but under Coach Artie’s guidance, I finally learned how to jerk properly. Every cue he gave made an immediate difference. My lifts improved in such a short amount of time thanks to his sharp eye and honest, no-nonsense feedback.
If you’re serious about Olympic lifting and want to train with someone who lives and breathes the sport, this is the place. Coach Artie is the real deal.
