I began working with Stephanie when I was six weeks postpartum with a body rocked by pregnancy and painful diastasis recti. With each session, I felt stronger and within a couple months of working together 2x a week, my diastasis recti was 100% healed. I credit Stephanie with "pulling me back together" after my pregnancy. Her incredible attention to detail and understanding of the body, and the specifics of my body, far surpassed anything I could have expected. Each session was completely tailored to me and my needs with compassion, care, an amazing sense of humor, and great results.

stephanie is the real deal. have done pilates fairly regularly for the past 10 years and have realized how hard it is to find studios doing proper classical pilates in nyc. stephanie is an incredible instructor who knows the body and will teach how to move. her studio is always immaculate and because it’s nice and small instruction is always personal. i traveled all the way from brooklyn to this studio for several years, that’s how good it is.
if you’re looking for a pilates studio for i can’t reccommend well-balanced any more highly.
