Seriously life changing! I have been trying for years to get into an exercise routine and stick with it. My friend told me about Carla’s classes and I was hesitant. I did NOT want yet another exercise class I was going to quit. My friend convinced me to just TRY IT. And thank God I did! I’ve been working out with Carla for two months or so now and I actually love it. I ENJOY it! She’s an amazing coach-truly knowledgeable-and she’s FUNNY. But best of all, whatever her magic is—I’m showing up. And I noticed a change in my body within a month. Carla is the real deal. I’m so grateful my friend found her and shared her with me. I haven’t felt this good in years. Carla is literally the best!!!

Before joining WBC and working with Carla I felt sluggish and my nutrition was not very good. I always had pretty low blood pressure, but it was starting to creep up on me. I was thinking about joining WBC, but I was on the fence. After going to my Dr and having him tell me that I should try a trainer I knew that was my sign to join. I have only been working with Carla for a month, but there is already a difference in my body and my overall mindset with regards to exercise and nutrition. Before joining I was skeptical about doing a Zoom workout, and I absolutely never thought I would be the person that wanted to wake up for a 5:30 AM bootcamp, but I am hooked! Even though am not physically in the same room as Carla so is so motivating. She can tell if my form is off, or if I need her to give another example of how to do an exercise as if she was right there with me. I honestly was shocked at how positive of an experience I had during my first class. I love that Carla is so motivating and encouraging. Even when I am down on myself, she always finds a positive and makes me feel better. She is super responsive if I have questions or concerns. If you are thinking about hiring a personal trainer or nutrition coach I would highly recommend Carla and WBC!!

I have been participating in Carla's boot camp off and on for over 10 years! Most recently I took 2 years off for medical reasons and was TERRIFIED to go back. Making the decision to take care of myself and get out of my comfort zone was the BEST decision I could have made. I was hesistant to do Zoom classes, but I absolutely LOVE that the classes are virtual--Carla doesn't miss a thing and it feels like you are part of a group, but also so personal, without the commute. I also love that I can do the classes outdoors and that she changes the workouts EVERY SINGLE DAY! I have only been back for two months and my strength and flexibility are improving. If you are not sure about joining, try it! You will love it and your only regret will be that you didn't do it sooner.

Westchester Boot Camp makes it fun and EASY to work out consistently and get results! Before joining, I had a million excuses not to exercise--the weather is bad, I don't have time to drive all the way to the gym, class times don't work for me today, etc., etc. Now that I've joined Carla's boot camp, I haven't missed a single day of working out. When I first heard classes were on Zoom, I wondered if that format would give me the feedback and personal interaction I wanted, but I can definitely say Carla is an expert at giving individual corrections, encouragement, and reasons to laugh during every single workout. The choice of three different time slots means I can always find one that works with my day's schedule, and I love that I can even join classes when I'm away on vacation! The other women who work out in these classes are supportive of each other, and watching them is also a great motivator. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy Westchester Boot Camp.

I haven't worked out consistently since before my son was born and I was searching for a way to put fitness and health back into my routine. I'm also new to the area. Carla and the members of WBC welcomed me with open arms. They were friendly, supportive, and inspiring. Some of the members have been with Carla from the beginning and that's a testament to the work that she does and the community she's built. I still have a lot to learn but in the 3 months I've been involved I have gained strength and stamina and look forward to working out more. I love that they offered outdoor classes during the warmer months (but also have the option to do zoom workouts). Working out outside is such a great way to start the day off right. I look forward to continuing my fitness journey with WBC.

I originally started Westchester Adventure Bootcamp with Carla 12 years ago. As the years passed, I moved away but every time I went to visit my family in Westchester, I always made it a point to take her classes. They are, hands down, the best classes I have taken. Over the past 12 years, I have not found another class like hers, nor another coach like her. She doesn’t just “train”, she coaches. She reminds us that we are strong, that we can make it through the exercise. She’s always providing with us knowledge, making sure we aren’t just going through the motions; she cares and it shows. Now with the classes being held on Zoom, anyone can do her classes from anywhere. I am! Thanks Carla for loving what you do. Your passion shows and I have not felt as confident in my body as I do now, for awhile.

Before joining bootcamp I struggled with accountability and I didn’t find working out enjoyable, I just did it cause I needed to. My life has changed since starting at WBC. The workouts are challenging and FUN! Every workout is different and exciting.
When I first started at bootcamp, I was already in good shape and Carla helped me improve my results even more. Fast forward a year later after having my second baby, I was not in the best shape and felt discouraged, but with WBC’s help I was able to get right back into it and the results are even better! Less than a year postpartum I am back to my pre-baby body.
Whether it’s helping you improve your form or pushing you to keep going, Carla is there every step of the way. Carla is not the only one who has your back, though. WBC is a community of strong women who motivate each other and push you to the limit.

I had just started my fitness journey a few months before joining WABC. I was determined to start feeling better and I knew that meant exercising, which I had never cared for much. I was taking a group class that Carla was also taking and she was working so hard and LOVING it! I really wanted to feel like that about my quest to get fit. When I found out Carla is WABC, I had to give it a try - it was one of the best decisions I've ever made!
Having avoided exercise for most of my life, I had plenty of reservations about joining a Boot Camp:
Would I get yelled at if I couldn’t keep up? Would everyone be so advanced that I would be out of my depth? Could I become strong? Did I have the stamina to go all out for 60 minutes? Was there any chance that I could learn to LOVE working out?
What I found out:
No one has ever yelled at me. I couldn’t always keep up - but was given modifications and tons of encouragement. WBAC classes are full of women of all ages, ability and strength - they have become my friends and biggest fans. I am strong and I can do hard things. And most days I do LOVE working out!
There is something so empowering about working-out with a group of hardworking like-minded women. We encourage, challenge and support each other every day. Carla fosters the camaraderie, knows what our individual goals are and encourages & pushes us to achieve them. I have toned my body, I am stronger than I’ve ever been and I have so much more confidence in myself.
If you are looking to get fit, switch up your routine or make some serious changes, you will find what you are looking for at WABC. I am confident you will find it here because there all types of women there and we are all finding what we need with guidance from Carla at WABC.

Have you ever thought when you get in bed at night “I can’t wait to workout in the morning”? I started working out with Carla at the beginning of the Q in the spring of 2020. I was an Orange Theory junkie in my old life. When I started working out with Carla via Zoom I realized what I had been missing at OT. Carla’s eyes are on me, ALL THE TIME. She is able to correct my form, motivate me to work harder, make me laugh and sing terrible songs all at the same time. She’s in tune with my schedule, and when I miss my regular day you can bet there’s a text on my phone asking where I was. In the fall of 2020 I joined Carla’s Back in the Saddle program. I am a pretty good cook and meal planner, and Carla’s menu and grocery list made shopping a breeze! I’m not going to lie, it was a lot of work to prepare all of the recipes from scratch but you know what? It changed the way I think about food. My entire diet is now leaning towards more plant-based options. The shape of my body has changed and I haven’t felt this good since my 20s (dare I say a 6 pack may be forming??) I’m more toned and in the best cardiovascular shape I’ve been in in years. I hope Carla teaches on Zoom forever because I live 2 hours away. Still on the fence? Give her 3 days a week for 2 weeks and you’ll be hooked.

I have been doing the zoom classes with Carla since the start of the pandemic and she has been nothing but amazing. She is motivating, she corrects your form, she knows when you can do better (yes, even though it's zoom!). It may not be in person classes, but you would never know it! Carla also sends out health and wellness emails to keep you mind and body on track. She really is so wonderful and I recommend her to everyone who is looking to get healthy.

The events of the past few months have been unprecedented. Now more than ever, it is important to stay on you’re A-game and keep your spirits lifted. While the world was closing around us and our daily routines were changing, without missing a beat, online ZOOM workouts showed up. I joined WABC almost 2 years ago and it was the best decision I have ever made. Carla is a fantastic trainer - she motivates and challenges you in the best way. When Covid hit, Carla started classes on Zoom without missing a beat, as a result, neither did we. It was a seamless transition into virtual at home workouts that were as challenging and effective as having in person instruction.
Westchester Boot Camp Zoom classes were the absolute best part of Covid confinement. They started my days off on a strong, positive and energy boosting note. I always knew Carla was a dedicated and knowledgeable trainer; however, her ability to keep it tough and fresh in front of a screen with no bells and whistles proved it a hundred times over. Her knowledge of body musculature, fat burning techniques and cardio health really came to the forefront in order to meet the fitness needs of her clients during a restrictive and difficult time.

I have been attending Westchester Adventure Bootcamp since 2016. When I moved out of the area, anytime I found myself in the Somers area I would attend. Since covid-19 lockdown; WABC has been pivotal to my sanity. Carla and her workouts kept me on a schedule and sane throughout. I've been taking Carla's zoom class now for a couple of months. I was weary at first but since the first class I have enjoyed it. Carla offers different classes each time and its a great workout and I feel good all day after taking it. Carla really gets you motivated which is good for me. After recently having three kids I needed to shed some weight and focus on my own health. Well in search for some motivation i came across Carla’s WABC. I started a few months ago attending the early morning class and I love love it!!

I have been doing Boot Camp for exactly one month and I cannot say enough great things about it! I had not worked out or had someone push me like this since I was 20.
I never thought I could do it again after three kids and I had every excuse in the book about why I wasn't getting where I wanted to be. I am so inspired by this group of women and how hard they push themselves and encourage others to do so. Carla has created this environment that is so welcoming, fun and gives us the strength to get through these work outs together. What I love about her is that she knows what you are capable of and wants you to see that potential too. This may be a business but it is run as a passion and Carla's heart and expertise is always in it. She is fully present for us, mentally, physically and emotionally and once you start doing this program, your perspective of yourself can really change. Even though these workouts can be extremely difficult, you know doing it is going to make you a better and stronger YOU. No matter what your health goals are, Carla will motivate and guide you every step of the way. Buyer beware, it is extremely addicting! I have been a member at Westchester Boot Camp for about two months. I have always been active, but I was finding my old fitness routine boring. I needed something to supplement my tennis game. As we get older, I know adding strength training is important. Therefore, I was excited when I learned about this boot camp close to my home. I joined WABC back in 2009 after my sister told me about this "women's only boot camp that looks pretty good". I spoke with Carla on the phone before signing up and immediately liked her interest in my goals and what I was looking for in an exercise program outside of joining a gym. I signed up and was hooked after the first week. After a couple years, Carla told me to buy a bike and sign up for a duathlon (run, bike, run). She had been doing triathlons and thought it would be fun to do a race together. Once again, I got hooked after my first race. I was still doing duathlons along with boot camp for another 3 years. In 2014, I decided to start doing triathlons and took swimming lessons. In order to accomplish my goal of doing a Half Ironman triathlon, I could no longer do both boot camp and train for my race. I continued to do triathlons and 3 more Half Ironman races from 2015 to this past September. After my race, I realized how much I missed boot camp and decided to go back full time. I couldn't have accomplished what I did without Carla and her boot camp since she was the one who convinced me to buy a bike and told me to start doing duathlons. I truly missed her training and classes and am SO happy to be back. She continues to push me to be my best. This was my first full week back and I'm happy to say I'm so sore! It's also a plus to be surrounded by such strong awesome women! So to you, Carla, I say thank you for being the first person who made me fall in love with fitness!

Westchester Adventure Bootcamp is incredible! I have been going to Carla’s WABC for over 3 years. Carla got me into the best shape of my life and helped me to tone muscles I didn’t even know I had. As a result of the challenging workouts, I have been able to compete in half marathons and triathlons (and actually do push ups!) Although the classes encourage you to work hard, Carla welcomes all levels and accommodates whatever your needs are. Throughout my pregnancy Carla helped me stay in shape, while making sure the workouts were appropriate for my changing body. After baby Carla got me right back into my pre-pregnancy clothing and helped to keep my mind and body balanced during a chaotic time. I hadn't done any strength training in over 5 years, but I knew it was time to get back to it. I've known Carla for about 7 years, we met doing a triathlon together, I know how awesome she is so I decided to try her 28 day challenge. The biggest thing I got from it, besides the awesome workouts, was learning how to cook simple dishes and actually enjoying the process and realizing I can cook :) Carla provided us with meals that I can actually make and being prepared really helps. I've learned to look at food differently & I used to think I could pretty much eat what I wanted since I'm constantly training. Joining WABC and being led by Carla has been such an amazing experience for me. Carla is passionate about what she does as a coach and this is clearly seen in the level of commitment she has for each of the woman that attend her Bootcamp. Carla helped me set achievable goals for myself and supported me each step of the way through phone calls, emails, Facebook support groups, and encouraging words.
