Not even going to lie, I never done a review before, I literally mean never. So the fact that Iβm doing this only means one thing, this is by far one of the best places I ever been too by far. On the first day I arrived just absolutely welcoming environment ESP at the front desk, the atmosphere of commitment and everyone working hard, the motivated is just unparalleled to anywhere I been to. Take a class with these guys definitely will get u into shape and learn a thing or 2 on what u need to work on to improve. If anyone comes here I can definitely say with confidence that this is a great place to go to with such nice people who are willing to talk, amazing trainers, and overall like a home away from home. (If I could do 10 stars I would)

I feel very uncomfortable when Justine is at the front desk. She always targets me and speaks to me very disrespectfully in front of other gym members. she's condescending, very unprofessional, and goes out of her way to make me feel small. I do not wish this on anyone that is just trying to have a healthy gym experience. Especially where you spend your hard earned money.

This place has great classes but unclear policy. Getting an unlimited membership pass is actually only a 1 class or 1 gym session per day pass, not unlimited at all. When I got to the gym nobody at the front desk seemed to know what they were doing and told me I had to leave the gym until my class time is here.
Edit: I resolved some misunderstanding through email

I love Work Train Fight! The classes are great and the coaches are extremely talented and helpful. You get a community vibe and just feel good going there. There is personal training if you want to learn basics before starting class otherwise there is a variety of classes offered for each level.

The trainer, Aaron Sifflet, was rude and acted unprofessional. First incident is when he was about to begin and I was almost done wrapping my hand. I didnβt want to hold the class and so I stepped to the side so I can finish it. I have had injuries before so I wanted to be careful. He told me to just go and I said please start without me I donβt want to be injured. He then mocks me and then says no we can all wait for you. I understand to a certain degree but it was individual station and I did not want to injure myself again from hitting bags without proper preparation. Then the second incident is when I told him I am just learning boxing so itβd be nice if he can tell me if I am doing anything wrong or show me the correct way. He then tells me no worries but after doing some pad work, he gets frustrated that I wasnβt hitting it properly. I could see that we werenβt timing it properly. He then told me to have my right hand up and I made sure it was covering my cheek/jaw. He then asks me to do the cross and afterwards he goes above my head and smacks my head. I am okay getting hit while learning but in this case, it felt little different. I felt his frustration. Is it hard to show the beginner what they need to do other than to yell and act unprofessional? I then asked him have you played baseball? He then said no. I asked him if I told you to throw a curve ball, would you know how? He said no. I said well I would show you and teach you the form and how to throw it properly without injuring yourself. I am sure there was a lot more into this than that but he kept saying I was a know-it-all. I am sure I told him I am a beginner and I donβt know anything. I am having a hard time understanding his logics but I am sure I donβt want to be a part of his class anymore. I am sure others may have better experience at this gym or with this trainer but I wouldnβt recommend him as your trainer.
So far, the gym is filled with energy and lots of positive people. I hope this experience is a one time thing with all the positive reviews!

Great gym for all levels, especially if you're looking to learn more about proper technique, all the instructors are great, but love taking Donovan and Nikki's classes. Clean facilities, plenty of equipment including bags, core, and strength training equipment as well. Would highly recommend!

Tried their one-month discounted membership for new members. Loved the structure of the group classes. For the main part of the class, they divide people into 4-5 groups with each group doing some sort of boxing or strength/core exercise in quick rotations. The format kept it interesting (instead of say a grid of punching bags) and also allowed for exercises with the trainer as well. Highly recommend trying it out.

I grew tired of my sedentary lifestyle and decided to try WTF since they have a $97/first month promo. I'm really glad I tried it out because it's such a great place. Every class I've been to has been great - all of the instructors are helpful, patient, and want to make sure you're learning the exercises and moves.
Also Guapo (the dog, not the human) is here.

I joined in the beginning of January as a beginner to boxing. I had previously tried out Rumble, Everybody Fights and Title - none of those compare to Work Train Fight. Each trainer truly cares about you; they work with each person in their class to better their punches, stances and conditioning techniques. They are the only gym that does 1x1 sparring excersizes during regular classes which really improves ones confidence and skills.
The owner is there every day checking in on every one and making those personal connections. This is such a great facility, I genuinely look forward to coming here every day. Also, their prices are unbeatable! Private sessions included in some packages!? Unheard of in NYC. 110% recommend to anyone!

Iβve been to so many boxing gyms all over NYC and this is by far the best boxing gym in all of Manhattan. I came here looking to master my boxing TECHNIQUES and here I got exactly what I was looking for. In other gyms there seems to be a lot of emphasis put on trying to burn out the client with exercises and fast pace non technique focused fluff that looks like punching. Here I get one heck of a tough workout while at the same time mastering the craft. No fluff, no bs, just a great quality experience.

I have trained at Work train Fight for several years now and watched them grow over the years. The trainers are all very knowledgeable and the equipment is all new and well kept.
The recent expansion really opened up the space and I always look forward to working out.

I first took the Work Train Fight Experience and had Mark as my trainer for my 1-on-1 training and I had a great time with him. Since then, I signed up and have been coming 4 times out of the week. The facility is clean, the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, the trainers are AWESOME! You can walk through the facility and the trainers will acknowledge you even while they're working with clients. It's a great place to come and learn how to box... I highly recommend Work Train Fight!

The classes here are really no joke. It's a great combination of circuit training and technique, and the only limitation is how far you can push yourself. The more often you go, the more you'll see results. Plus, the trainers are all pretty awesome people!

This place is the real deal. I only came here because I had purchased a bloomspot for fitness classes.
The staff is nice and the class was intense. I need a real job so that I can actually afford boxing here because the guys that work here are ohh yeah!
The other day I saw them on Empire Girls so people get to this place before they get too hollywood and wanna start raising prices!
Fast forward almost 2 yrs later i been at the gym and i feel like im part of family with instructors that give a damn about your progress!

I was definitely intimidated first walking into the gym but my friend assured me that it would be fun and that I would love it. After taking my first class my entire body was sore it was an intense work out but it made me realize I can use just about all my muscles in just one class. Itβs a full body workout and the best part is these classes are not ordinary you actually develop useful skills and techniques. The trainers are awesome, extremely motivating. I definitely recommend this gym!

I love this gym. No member fees! Great trainers, that can help in everything from weight loss, to muscle gain, to muy thai, to good old fashioned boxing. I've been working with luke for a year and recommend him to everyone I know. I;ve worked with at least 6 trainers over the years and Luke is by far the most knowledgable. I made more progress with him in a month than i did with other trainers in 6 months. Besides the private sessions (which are very well priced), the classes are great. They will kick your butt in a great way. For guys and girls. all ages. They are also very well priced. The usually offer very cheap trial classes. Everyone should try!

Technically, the staff is heads and tails above any group of trainers that I have worked with. I had a great experience in that regard. The biggest obstacle is the costs. It is expensive. It is not something I would pay for on a long-term basis, but a great place to go for a couple of months every year as you refine your fitness goals.

I absolutely love this gym! I used to work in the city and I either went here before or after work and always got an amazing work out! The kickboxing classes are fantastic! They are small classes so the instructors can correct your form and keep you moving! I had to move for my job but if it wasn't for that, I would absolutely still be going here!

The staff was very personable and learned my name very quickly. They had a wonderful beginner's deal where I got 4 sessions of personal training for under $100 - that was amazing! I also learned some new boxing technique and got my heart rate up - can't complain! The only downside is that the space is not as well lit as your typical Equinox. There also aren't very many cardio machines.

This is one of the best, most motivating experiences in New York. I've been a member of many other gyms, but ultimately have gotten bored of the non-challenging, monotonous workouts - NOT HERE. The classes are intense, the trainers have personality, and the workouts can't be matched. I highly recommend it. My only wish is that they continue to expand the space (they just did recently - but we need more space); the gym can get crowded during busy times, and the changing rooms are busy....

Im almost too scared to tell people how good this place is. Its like the "Cheers" of gyms. I work out with a personal trainer and take the boxing bootcamp classes. You get a real work out. You actually get to hit things. No "foxy boxing" as my husband likes to joke. After 2 years at this place I feel stronger, leaner and tougher. Can't speak highly enough about the trainers too. They make you feel welcome and are really on your team. Alberto, Donovan, Manny, Eric... you can't go wrong. ALL BRILLIANT.

You know that feeling you get when you walk into a gym and you feel like you will never accomplish anything at a regular Ballys, Blink fitness, Lucielle Roberts or whatever gym, hey even NYSC? Yeah, you DON'T get that feeling when you walk into WTF! WTF was the best thing that ever happened to me. Alberto Ortiz changed my life. The trainers at WTF changed my life. I felt strong. I felt amazing. I felt like I could do just about anything. If I had all the free time in the world I would spend it there. A WTF class is the best ''pre-game'' before going out with your girlfriends! I loved every moment being apart of this! If you have never taken a class at WTF then you have never really lived or in other words LIFTED! but do you even lift?... not until you take a WTF class! DO IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! I PROMISE YOU THIS WTF WILL BEST THE MONEY YOU EVER SPENT! PLUS...the trainers are hot and they want to make you even hotter! I can't wait to go back and feel alive again... only at WTF!

Fun but challenging classes. Instructors are patient with beginners which I liked. Like most things in NYC, space is limited. Taking the earlier class helps. Otherwise it's hard to find a locker. I really liked the female boxing instructor.

I have only done the WORK bootcamp classes. I came to WTF because I was looking for CrossFit-level bootcamp. I have tried many places in the city, and this is the only one that consistently kicks my butt. 50 minutes of non-stop work -- it is AWESOME! All of the trainers in the gym are friendly, and the facility is really nice!

I love this gym! The trainers for the Box n' Work classes are all amazing, especially Donovan, Daniel and Brian. Every class is fun and different, but by the end you feel very accomplished (they are hard!). The bootcamps are the best thing to relieve stress after a long day at work or a hard week.
I have also signed up now for personal training sessions with Brian and he is the best!

On a whim over a year ago, the fiancee and I used a GroupOn to take a bootcamp here, LOVED it and have been going regularly ever since. I had never even picked up a boxing glove and they walked me through it patiently and without embarrassment and now I can't get enough. The bootcamps are exactly what you want: 45 or 60 minutes of intense but fun and always different workouts. The classes are good for everyone from very out of shape to very fit. I've also done personal training and it was great: the trainers and bootcamp instructors are knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. Nice private showers if you want to go before work and go straight to the office. And it's a great deal.

As a student, training is expensive and I used to hop from gym to gym using deals around the city. However, after taking 8 sessions at WTF, I loved it so much decided to stay and buy 16 more sessions - and more after I use these up. The workouts are fun and energetic, the trainers are friendly, and I especially love the new small group lessons. Hopefully I'll be able to do some of the intermediate classes soon!

I have been working out at WTF for the past several years, and it is by far the best gym I have worked out at in NYC. The lessons with individual trainers are highly individualized and offer great expertise on technique, and the boot camp class are an excellent mix of friendly competitiveness and pushing one to the max. There is also a great variety of classes to choose from. I recommend this gym highly to anyone who is serious about getting and staying in shape, and who thrives on a professional, no-nonsense approach.

Life has moved me in and out of the city but I keep my membership here. The gym is clean, honestly-run, approachable but serious. The bootcamp boxing classes are great for people with short-attention spans and loads of stress. Got a deal on Gilt over a year ago, but you can always get their promo of 4 classes and a pair of gloves for $45, which really is all you need, you'll be hooked.

WorkTrainFight is everything you would expect from a top-notch boxing gym. The instructors/trainers are professional and very friendly, the gym is clean and well laid out, and the boot camp classes are awesome.
I came here having never boxed before and after one session felt comfortable standing in the front row of the class. I also decided after my first class that I was definitely joining the gym. The class Box N Work is one of the best workouts I have ever had. Each instructor has a different style and approach to the class but they are all equally as challenging.
I suggest signing up for the promo ($45 lets you try 4 boot camp classes and gives you a free pair of gloves). This way you can try out the different classes and different instructors to find what works best for you.
I highly recommend this place.

I purchased an online deal for boxing bootcamp classes at WORK, and loved every class I attended. The instructors were great and varied the workouts to the ability of each class. I always felt I got an excellent workout. Classes were capped at 15, which was very nice. The gym is a little on the small side, but it never felt cramped. I think they are also expanding. I look forward to working out there again.
