Iโ€™ve been working with Ben for the past six weeks to improve my mobility while recovering from a new shoulder injury, along with years of ongoing hip and neck issues. The sessions have been informative, encouraging, and incredibly effective. I now feel confident in understanding how to maintain the progress Ben has helped me achieve. I only wish I had found him years ago, and Iโ€™m looking forward to continuing our work together with strength training.

Iโ€™m not usually the type to leave bad reviews, but Iโ€™ve been burned too many times by healthcare professionals. I met with this specialist because a friend of mine had knee pain and he had helped her, and while I believe his intentions might have been well, my experience was very different. My session was far too aggressive given the pain Iโ€™m already in, and even he acknowledged it was rushed. I felt like I was being dragged around like a doll through many different exercises without a proper warm-up. He didnโ€™t explain the exercises beforehand, assuming I knew what I was getting into, which felt negligent given how rushed the session was. I was left extremely sore and feeling unsafe. It didnโ€™t feel like my diagnosis or physical therapy plan were considered, which made it hard to trust the process. I would rather not have gone at all than be rushed and pushed like that. I do not recommend this experience.

I was generally a healthy person, regularly lifting, skiing, farming, running half marathons, and even doing a Tough Mudder once, but a misdiagnosed illness hit in the fall of 2023 and destroyed my skeleton through the winter, resulting in 4 vertebral compression fractures and a fractured pelvis. I needed an electric wheelchair for museums or scientific meetings. I could "walk and plop" but couldn't stand more than 5 minutes. I transitioned from the back brace ortho gave me to wearing a corset under my clothes 10 hrs a day. I couldn't even be up and around at all at home without it. I was horizontal most of the day. After 18 months of treatment, my bones regrew enough that I was considering spine reconstruction surgery or PT. I didn't feel like I had the time to PT again with the large number of visits for limited progress.

Friends recommended Ben. I was interested as he rehabbed people and restored function, not just helping fit people be more fit.

On my first visit, he told me to take the corset off, and I haven't worn it since! Everyone throws around the term "myofascia," but Ben really knows it and evaluates it via muscle function. When I got off the table after my first session, I said, "I feel like I have my body back!". By the end of the session, I was deadlifting!!! I can stand again! One session and I have core strength again!

I am a PhD professor with a hospital-based research program and can say that Ben knows his anatomy and biology. I hope his approach catches on, as this is REAL healing, getting to root causes, and helping your body acquire healthier patterns and function as it was designed. He has an approach that is beyond chiropractic care or physical therapy. I hope those in the rehabilitation field study his approach and knowledge to heal more people. Humanity needs his approach.

Pre-pregnancy I had knee pain and I wasn't sure what was causing it.

Once I got pregnant my husband signed me up for sessions with Ben Brickman at Worksite Fitness.

After a few sessions and doing everything he recommended (changing the shoes I wore, starting the exercises, doing a HITT class a couple times a week in my 2nd trimester) - my knee pain and low back pain due to a sedentary job was completely gone.

It has made this pregnancy so much easier and I haven't had any trouble with losing my balance or random aches and pains. No swelling either.

I have enjoyed biking, walking, and working out daily through this pregnancy! It has made it a lot more fun.

Super thankful for Ben and his support.

Can't say enough about working with Ben. I've been in pain for years and injuries from a car accident a few years back only compunded things. Lately I've been struggling with breathing and running, which i love, has been hard with legs that felt heavy and stiff.
After the first session my breathing improved and I was able to enjoy a few days of pain as more of a nuisance then companion. After the second session I felt strong and went for a run through Troy with friends and it was wonderful! My butt and hamstrings were pulling me up the hills and while my breathing isnt yet perfect i didn't gas out.
If this is what two sessions looks like, I'm excited to see what three and four look like!
Ben is professional and he knows his stuff and is happy to answer your questions and you get the sense that he really enjoys helping people become healthy and strong.

As a combat veteran, I left active duty with a myriad of injuries. For 10 years, I was a civilian in considerable pain. Working with Ben, in my 30s, he was able to immediately diagnose the root causes of my various issues, where many orthopedists and physical therapist had failed to do so before. Now, I am mostly pain free, and have a mobility and quality of life I havenโ€™t experienced since I was a teenager. I attribute that entirely to Ben and his knowledge, coaching, and support. Veteran or not, I can not recommend Ben enough to anyone who wants to take more ownership of their own life and feel more physically stable, mobile, strong, and ultimately, free.

I have began working with Ben during COVID. It was a very sensitive time for all of us. Working with Ben I was able to develop muscle, and lose weight. I was also introduced to a whole different way of working out and viewing exercise. For an example, we ran around the park, in the grass barefooted. It was so much fun. I felt like a kid again. Ben had me lifting 100lb weights, and I thought I was lifting 50lb weights, and I was complaining I could do it...meantime I was lifting double. I was amazed, and proud how he pushed me. I told him I liked to dance. We did Zumba, and weight lifting in the park. Oh the best part was he trained both my husband, and I at the same time....oh, he also allowed me to invite other people in the park to join us! We love Ben!

Have been training with Ben for about 18 months. Not only is he super knowledgeable as it pertains to all things fitness, he's also very keen on posture, stretching and helping all of us make sure we do the exercises right and not hurt ourselves.

Hi! My name is Mike and Iโ€™m 79 years old. Iโ€™ve been active all my life enjoying biking, skiing and sailing. However, with an active life comes injuries that can interfere with motility. I have been using the services of a personal trainer since 2014 when my doctor mentioned that my A1C was getting a bit high. I started training with Ben for three months now and I can confidently report that I made more progress in this short time that in the prior 8 years. All the other trainers insist on poper posture, but Ben insists on the proper movement. To achieve that movement requires, in my case, finding and clearing the difficulty that is interfering with the proper movement and functioning. So I started training with Ben just over a year ago. When I first started I was just working out on my own trying to eat properly, I lost about 45 lbs. Then I felt as if I hit a plateau and reached out to Ben for help. Since I have lost over an additional 50lbs. With Ben's knowledge he taught me how to eat properly, count my daily intake on foods and how to work out without getting injured. There is a variety of equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, kettlebells, etc.) that is easy to access. The owner, Ben Brickman, is a skilled and knowledgeable trainer who is willing to listen, give advice, and provide support as you work towards your fitness goals. My personal experience at Worksite Fitness has been incredible. I started training with Ben in the beginning of October 2022. From day 1, Ben took time to learn about my strengths, areas of weakness, and personal goals. He plans workout circuits that are challenging, while at the same time keeping focus on safety, progress, and success. Ben has strong communication skills and provides feedback and encouragement before, during, and after workout sessions. He is able to motivate his clients so that everyone wants to do well. Since joining last October, I have attended HIIT classes regularly. More importantly, I am stronger, happier, and more energized. As a busy mom to 3 little girls, it was hard for me to find time to prioritize my own health and wellness. The 20 minute HIIT classes at Worksite Fitness have made it possible. I now have some "me" time that benefits my whole family. I can honestly say that I wake up each day and look forward to attending Ben's early morning classes! Worksite fitness is awesome! My husband started going as part of a veteran fitness program and he swears his hip issues disappeared. He is much more mobile than he was before (he can sit cross legged!) and even got back into Jiu Jitsu, something he hasnโ€™t practiced since he was a teenager. Upon his recommendation I started going as well and I love it. Since I started attending 2-3x/week I have:

-increased my strength significantly and can now deadlift more than I ever have!
-reduced my migraine days significantly
-reduced my rate of injury / body and joint pain
- run my fastest mile since high school!
- increased my calorie intake (who doesnโ€™t love being able to eat more without gaining fat!)
- made great new friends!

This was all with me putting in maybe 70-80% effort. Imagine my results if I went all in!! Overall, I highly recommend Worksite Fitness. Investing in your health and fitness is definitely the way to go.
