A gym I frequents 5 to 7 days a week. A bit expensive compare to other gym I've been a member of but it's close to home, what can I do? Good staff, respectful members, Beautiful Ladies, that's a GO! For me. Only problem, after 5pm to 6pm , it can get really annoying waiting for equipments, especially when members stay on their phone texting and taking pics for the Gram, a silly thing to do if you ask me, but whatever.

gym is a rip off they charged me 1 month memebership after they was told i no longer want to be part of there new gym evolve with new increased prices to a complete new gym formally known as world gym they try to say cancellation fee or maintance fees for a gym that closed down permanantley due to the pandemic world gym bankrupted and they still expect fees for a gym that no longer exsists this is called fraud .

They continued to charge me for 8 months after I canceled. (Check out my attached photos for proof.) I was paying extra each month for the "no contract" membership.
Despite my cancellation, they continued to charge my card each month.
Then, when that credit card expired, they sent my account to collections! Collections now harasses me by phone and email.
It's sad that some businesses rely on fraud to survive.
Be very careful with these people.

Very clean gym. Great equipment. I refused to sign a contract. Day by day is how I payed. I did purchase a few personal training sessions. Once. They continued to randomly charge my card on random dates. 4 times at $293.30. I can no longer contact them. They donβt pick up the phone and they donβt return emails. Mind you I never signed any contract for membership or personal training. They have a an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. Go to consumer affairs and read the reviews. Most say 0 stars if they could. Same storyβs. Never give this company your CC information.

So spacious gym. All the machines to train and personal trainer ready to help. The customer service is excellent. The best part is heat room and hidromassagem. Contains a shake protein store and gym clothes. Provide towels to shower and regular small towels.

my husband has been a member here for AGES, through multiple managements, name changes, renovations, you name it.
We've enjoyed the nice staff, the less than nice staff, the amazing staff. And we've been good with it all.
The facilities are expansive in one spot and cozy in another.
You can work out in a gymrat heaven, or in a mom's escape loft.
They provide Shampoo, conditioner, and a towel service if you feel like chipping in for it.
We've had VIP memberships, training, regular when things are tight and have always been treated beautifully.
We had one little bump this year and stomp our feet a little to get an issue corrected, but it has been

The gym is supposed to open at 7am on Saturday morning. It is 8:38am and the gym is still not open. Thereβs people here that have been waiting for almost 2 hours for the gym to open. Guess they should just head home.

I have been going to this Gym since 2007 on and off (Went to Retro for a little bit and then Had knee surgery, and cam back to do my own PT at this Gym). So Iβve seen many changes in this gym including the name. The gym has an affordable membership. Although I like how it was set up in the past where I paid a much cheaper amount for an annual membership upfront. This is no longer a thing. I paid monthly now. But I like the gym over all, and it has gotten better. Everyone in the gym makes sure that all weights go back on the rack, and equipment returns to its proper place. IT used to be a real mess back then. You might even catch someone wiping the equipment before and after the use of the machines. The music is great Monday thru Friday, not that it matters because I come with my own musicβ¦BUT on Saturdays and Sundays its La Mega 97.9 all morning. I donβt care for Spanish Music too much, thatβs my personal issue.
Even though there have been many changes to the gym I feel that they could use more things.
1- I wish I can take my cardio to the next level by having something to punch. A punching bag or two will be nice to have. We used to have a Boxing gym, but no one could use it. UNLESS you signed up for it and paid an additional fee for it with another owner. Retro fitness has these included with your membership.
2- Consider opening earlier. There have been occasions that the gym is supposed to open at 5:30am and the girl will either not show up or show up at 5:45am. But other than that she comes in everyday and opens up the gym at 5:29am. Which means by the time she gets the lights on and opens the door again for us, itβs about 5:35am according to my watch. I have to be at work at 8:00am so every minute counts for me. And I hate to waste my morning supplements on a no show, and I have to go back home jacked on prework sups.
3- Could they do something about the TVs on the cardio machines. They are the worst and the channels SUX!! Other Gyms and YMCA have so many options on each cardio machines. Examples, Phone inputs to recharge your phone, remotes that work, other gyms have screens to make it feel like you are running outdoors.
4- Newer equipment. The last piece of new equipment was probably the all in one equipment where you could do squats, pullups and maybe deadlifts. Or was I the old/new leg press machine. No it has to be on the second floor ,the TRX bands. My point is that there are so many new things that could replace some of the old ones.

Great staff excellent equipment. Courteous patrons a professional's gym. Huge selection of weights smoothie bar is clean & well kept. Two floors parking is limited depending on the time of day you attend. There's something for everyone. I loved the battling ropes..

Never really that crowded. I have gone at just about every time of the day and the only rough times is like right after work, 5-7ish. But even that isn't terrible. Plenty of equipment and space to get a solid lift in. Ample cardio on the upper level helps keep things separated on the floor. Overall, a clean, well equipped gym!

Good place to work out. It gets crowded during normal rush hour but you can still get your work out. People are always willing to help. The staff is friendly and polite. This is not the biggest gym but it does offer everything you need

The worst experience of my life, signup with them in June 2015 and canceled in end of august 2015.
1st I called, then I was told I need to send a letter , so I did, no response , I called again, no resolution .
Sent them emails , no response.
Then all the sudden I got a phone call from a collection agency.
I CANCELLED MORE THAN YEAR AGO AND THEY KEPT ON BILLING ME.

Signed up for this gym after researching all the gyms in the area. Overall great gym. A lot of cardio machines, specific muscle machines and actually has heavy (100+ lbs) free weights. Also has weekly zumba, yoga, etc. Classes. It's usually not packed and the staff is very friendly.

Everything about the gym is pretty much on point. Although I thoroughly enjoy this gym, fellow members (even trainers at times) will not re-racks their plates. There's an issue I have in which an employee of this gym is consistently using racks or pivotal gym space for their personal agenda (not work related) during busy hours which causes me to question one's etiquette; it's as if the gym and it's members are not something that deserves attention..

I just checked the gym out and honestly it seems very clean , organized , and professional. As a guy who is very serious about Fitness this gym is a gym to love. The gym has everything from cardio (weight lost) , free weight , clean equipment, steam room , sauna, calisthenics / cross fit section, dumbbell go up to 135 "nice", and this gym has a wonderful spaced out environment. The manager didn't hide any fee from me and was straight forward about the gym. I strongly recommend it and after reading the past reviews a lot of the things people were complaining about were personal problems that I haven't experienced. If you are interested in this gym I recommend seeing it for yourself and I promise you will have a positive experience...

Staff is good (some have their days, but they're humans). I've attended this gym for about 10yrs( on and off). There's plenty of equipment.
The only reason I removed stars is because of the monthly membership. the only way to cancel is by mailing them a letter asking to cancel, and you can't drop it off to them. That's something they didn't clarify during signup.

They do not disclose their fees upfront. Lure you in with a decent price but pile on fees after that. I had to ask their rep if there were any other charges that i had to pay on my membership and he told me flat out no. A month or two into my membership I was hit with an additional charge of $55 for maintenance fees. It seems illegal that they could do so because their is no amount written on the contract and I was verbally informed that there would be no other charges. They literally can make up any number without telling you what they charge and then threaten to revoke your membership without any refund. The facility itself is decent but not worth the price tag or misleading tactics.

The gym is huge for a neighborhood spot. I don't have to wait for cardio machines. There is a large variety of equipment. The classes are awesome and they're included in the membership.( Zumba, spinning, Yoga, body sculpting, etc. The trainers are very professional, knowlegeable in all areas, and have brought me great results. They have a delicious juice bar to help fuel you pre and post workout. My favorite part is relaxing my muscles in their steamroom after a good workout. You can't go wrong, love it there!
