This place is awesome for some late-night basketball, especially when you have that hoops craving. The staff is always super chill and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. My only minor gripe is that occasionally the other players get a bit heated and start bickering on the court. Overall, though, it's a solid spot to get your game on and blow off some steam. I'd still recommend it for sure!

Our son has been in the XGEN Basketball Academy for 3 years (4 days a week). He has come a long way. Starting out with coach Chris and now coach Brendan. Both helping him get better at playing basketball.
And most importantly, he loves it and has fun !

The coaching and programs they have to offer here are above anything else we have ever looked into. My son does the academy program(along with camps and Friday league) the program has taken his skills and confidence in play to new level that he can implement in a fun, developing but competitive environment on Friday nights and on his school team too! It consistently challenges him and he really enjoys going!

XGEN is a great place for hoops. They offer a diverse set of programming for kids and adults and have very good staff and coaching.
There's something going on here everyday which is great opportunity for development.
We signed up for the Academy and my son is playing at XGEN 4 days/week: academy practice 2 nights, skills work on Saturday, plus a game in an XBL league. It's great

I have two young boys who started X-Gen’s program about 1.5 years ago. We couldn’t be happier with the results of improvement and all they have to offer. They’re both are signed up for the X-Gen academy and in a little over a month we’re already seeing improvements in their dribbling, shooting and all around game. Hands down the best basketball program in Erie county. Highly recommend!!!

We get Saturday Skillswork and Friday & Sunday XBL as well as Extreme season tickets. We can also go anytime we want during open gym. They treat us like we belong there.

Amazing place and instructors.
We were looking for a place to start my son's basketball journey and stumbled upon XGEN and so thankful we did. The skills he’s developed both physically and mentally, along with the friendships he’s made, have been incredible.
The coaches and staff are truly invested in each player's growth. As a parent it means everything to know that the people working with your child genuinely care and understand what they need to succeed.
We’re excited to keep watching our son grow and can’t thank XGEN enough for everything they’ve done and continue to do.

We started at XGen in May and love it so far! We drive from Fredonia and it’s definitely been worth the investment. I saw so much progress in my son after just a month of Academy. He would be there 7 days a week if we lived closer! Highly recommend! Brendan is a great head coach!

I cannot say enough positive things about Xgen! Undoubtedly the best youth sports facility in WNY!! Every single clinic or session increasingly develops all levels of talent but also gives encouragement too! It’s the best of the best!! My son goes 6-7 days per week and looks forward to every single visit. The coaching staff provides a positive learning experience for all! I am so glad I found this place; only wish I found it sooner!!

Went for a tournament paid 50 dollars for two of us and the place was extremely dirty courts were extremely crowded and officiating was extremely bias towards the local teams, kids just want to play and we pay good money so would be nice if the officiating would be fair for that.

Playing conditions in this facility are a disgrace! The composite floor is dirty and unkempt to the point it is outright dangerous for the players slipping and falling all over the court. It is obviously worse around the end lines where the public walks in with wet shoes, but even humidity inside the building appears to exacerbate the problem. Air blowing fans are running apparently trying to address moisture issues near the walkways, but are ineffective. These floors need to be cleaned and refinished to provide a safe playing surface before someone is severely injured.
They charge spectator entrance fees from $10 to $15 which is a travesty considering the terrible shape this facility is in.

Attended a basketball tournament at this place. They charged us $30 each for a 2 day pass. The floors were slippery, the kids kept falling down hard on the floor while playing. Parents were allowed to serve as timekeepers for their own children’s basketball games so they stopped and restarted the time to favor their own kids teams. Officiating for the games seemed very biased. The referees made questionable calls that favored local teams. One would think if a facility charged this much for a tournament, they could afford to hire people, even if they were students, to serve as official timekeepers and scorers. Parking was slippery and full of snow.

XGen is a wonderful facility that offers a variety of different programs for kids of all ages and skill levels. We have been a part of XGen through their academy program that focuses on each child’s skills and works on improving their skills and abilities. We’ve also done a number of their camps which my kids have always loved and enjoyed. One of our favorite programs through XGen is their XBL Fridays and Sundays league. I highly recommend XGen to anyone who is has a son or daughter that has an interest in basketball. The coaches and employees are always available if you have a question and concern as well. XGen makes your kids feel like family…highly recommend it to families.

Our son Dawson has been attending XGen Elite Sports Complex since 2022, & what an amazing journey it’s been!
Dawson started out playing in the XBL house league on friday nights to test the waters. After a fun season of playing pick up basketball week after week, we knew he was capable of more! XGen at the time was rolling out their new Academy Program. We attended an informational meeting ran by the owner himself, Darren and we were SOLD on his philosophy, experience, and dedication to building some of the greatest athletes who love the sport of basketball in our community!
Having Dawson be a part of the Academy program was a no brainer to us. For a reasonable monthly tuition, he gets to be a part of so much! M-Th training practices that are closed off for just academy members, free XBL league, free open gyms, & a tremendous amount of discounted camps and clinics!
At XGen they employ the most top tier and experienced staff around! As parents, it is important to us that our children play sports for leaders who invest in building up the whole athlete and not just how to throw a 3 pointer or run fast. The coaching staff, has not only taken our son under their wings, but have impacted him in such a positive way.
Dawson now has 3 travel basketball seasons under his belt, 7 XBL leagues, & countless hours of focused training. We have seen a tremendous amount of growth in his abilities and his overall passion for the sport of basketball!
XGen is hands down the best basketball training facility in WNY and we would recommend who we call our second home and family to anyone!!
We are excited to see not only Dawson but our daughter Ivy grown up with in the XGen walls.

I brought my son to the academy about a year ago it has been nothing but amazing. Derrick could not go left, could make a basket but not consistent. In just a few short months I noticed he could and day by day his footwork was getting better along with his shots. Now Derrick is making double digits in games and gets a lot of compliments on how he’s a team player and very unselfish and I do believe that is from the academy. Derrick loves all the staff there, Matt being one of his favorites. Matt takes the time to talk to Derrick which I love and always pushes him to his full potential! I love that the coaches don’t push them to the end of the line when they don’t do a drill correctly, instead correct them and let them do it again which is how they will get better. We both love the academy, I feel like that’s our X-gen family! I spend a lot of hours at x-gen because with academy you get free open gym, XBL (house league) so not only do they get taught the skills, they get time to practice then put it into the game which is huge definitely part of Derricks success!

I recently attended a basketball tournament at XGen, and I must express my utter disappointment with the overall experience. It's disheartening to witness such mismanagement and disregard for the players, coaches, and spectators.
Firstly, hosting three games concurrently is a recipe for chaos. The referees' constant use of whistles creates confusion among players, making it impossible for them to discern which court the calls pertain to. This lack of clarity significantly impacts the game, as players struggle to hear directions from their coaches, and loose balls from one court disrupt play on another.
The seating arrangement only adds to the frustration. The venue is overcrowded, making it difficult for spectators to enjoy the games comfortably. Moreover, the referees seem to prioritize rushing through matches, calling games with time left on the clock just to clear the court for the next group's warmups. This rushed approach not only diminishes the quality of play but also leaves a sour taste for those who paid a $7 entrance fee per day/spectator.
Speaking of the referees, their behavior raises serious concerns. Engaging in casual conversations with spectators while a game is in progress is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful to the players and the integrity of the competition. Additionally, the absence of a clear line to delineate half-court makes it baffling that the referees still enforce half-court violations. This inconsistency in officiating further adds to the frustration of players and spectators alike.
In conclusion, my experience at XGen was far from satisfactory. The organizers need to address these issues urgently to ensure a more enjoyable and fair basketball tournament for everyone involved.

My son was a participant in The Academy which is a training program offered here. He went from first picking up a bball in 2022 to making the Freshman team in HS in 2023. They taught him drills and situations that went beyond what I could teach him in the yard. They also have league play which I feel is run really well. The facility is up to date and clean too. I’d definitely recommend. We also got food here once which was surprisingly good too.

At this point I’ll be taking legal action. Steer clear of this “organization”& I use that term loosely. Cut the season short because of the team wouldn’t go along with the coach playing favorite to his daughter. Darren was very rude when he finally did respond and never returned payments to families for the last 4 games of the season not played. His retort was the found a replacement coach, yes they did who was already spread thin between several other teams and did not live in the area. Was late to the 2 practices and 1 game they did try to have! Needless to say just find another team!

This place is an embarrassment to WNY. The vending machines were empty. There is little to no seating after charging $7 to enter. The courts are so close that players on court 3 get distracted from the referees blowing whistles on court 1. We will get a state of the art facility built in Niagara County to make WNY proud because if anybody thinks that is the best we can do they are sadly mistaken. NFBA (Niagara Falls Basketball Association) coming November 2023

Poorly organized. Scheduled for tournaments are given less than 2 days before they happen. Not sure how families are supposed to plan events. No uniforms were given to players. The solution to the problem was a $75 credit towards a future league 🙄
There’s other places to play that are better than this. Overhyped isn’t accurate enough. Stay away.

Overall a nice place to play basketball. Was there this weekend for a basketball tournament with my daughter. Although the courts are a little small when they have it set up in the three configuration they work out just fine for the younger teams. There are bleachers along one side of the wall for spectators but overall space is extremely limited. Especially when there's teams playing in the next teams are waiting for their next game. The bleachers get quite full the sidelines get full and start to impede on the courts. Other than that good place to have a tournament.

I have attempted to contact this company four times over the past three months in regard to a refund for a basketball league that has been canceled/postponed. We will be moving out of the area and will not be able to participate. I am simply looking for and answer from them and I cannot even get a response. It is a terrible way to conduct business. I would be concerned about doing business with this type of company if an email response is too much to ask...
