Sam and her staff are phenomenal! I started 2 years ago with the beginners class. As a 66 year old male with multiple surgeries, I can tell you I’m a changed man. Not only am I pain free for the first time in 20 years but my golf game is back in the 70’s. Thanks to Sam, Bonnie, Kristie, Ellen, Laura & Amy you changed my life !!

I walked in and first thing Lora was very welcoming and so I felt very comfortable in the room as long as the other people around me. I feel better in the mind and body after a session as she did a great job.

Feeling disappointed. I've reached out a couple of times regarding taking an individual yoga class and have paid for it. I don't see any instructions on the website on how to set up such a class. No one has texted or called me about how to set this up. I did get an email saying that I paid for the class, but as of yet, I haven't been able to schedule my individual class. This looks like a nice facility. I'd like to check it out, but. . .

From the Ground Up: Spring Wellness Retreat at Indian Brook Lodge, was curated and hosted by Samantha and Trevor of Yana Yoga. From arrival on Friday night to departing on Sunday evening, the whole weekend was infused with their love and care. Carefully thought-out offerings included yoga, cold plunging in the brook, Kirtan by the fire, breathwork, a sound bath, and a chakra workshop. The weekend was kicked off with an incredible dinner by Chef Humble, a meal that we were still talking about on Sunday. All the meals were healthy, homemade, and delicious. (but everything in moderation- there was wine and s’mores too)

The weekend was well balanced between class/workshop offerings and down time to rest and recharge with activities of your own choosing. The house was beautiful, with a large front room with views of Lake George. In between activities, there was a comfortable mix of quiet reading or journaling on the comfy couch, standing on the deck soaking in the sun and listening to the rushing brook, or chatting with others at the kitchen table. There were also additional offerings available right on site- facial with a local esthetician, or reiki with Sam. Each part of the itinerary was completely optional, and our hosts made sure that we felt welcomed and supported to participate and try each offering, but never pressured to join in anything we did not choose to.

My favorite part of the weekend was the crystal bowl sound bath with Sam. I also really enjoyed learning more about the Chakras during Ellen’s workshop, and I completed my first cold plunge with Trevor. Sam and Trevor were present with us all weekend, and they freely shared their wealth of knowledge about the benefits of each practice, the mind and body and how they work together. The whole weekend was intentional- starting with Grounding, next to Reset and Purify, and finally to Renew -our whole beings. I am already looking forward to the next retreat.

Participated in yana yoga retreat at Indian Brooke lodge in Bolton landing( weekend to fit working people). Was such beautiful location, amazing views and space to make own too. The retreat was full of connections to self and time for self but also be with others/ connections to yoga and nature . The amount of time, activities and the love put into every meal, activity was incredible. It’s important to note that you don’t have to be forced into all activities just come as yourself but leave fully as yourself better. A shoutout to them for having messages, reiki and facials. And to one of leaders for getting smores. Lol With gratitude.

I've been coming to Yana for over a year and have grown so much in my practice. Bonnie fosters such a positive environment in her classes, and I feel welcomed and cared for not only by her but by the other ladies who are regulars. It doesn't feel like just an exercise class, like I've experienced at other studios, but instead a community where we are simultaneously challenged and supported. Thank you Bonnie!

This was my time at Yana Yoga for the beginner Yoga series. Sam is very welcoming and her class was well suited for a real beginner. Not intimidating at all. Also a good refresher for someone who has not practiced Yoga for a while like myself.

This studio holds such a special place in my heart. ❀️The teachers here have so much knowledge, wisdom and good energy to share with their students. I recently completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training and it was a life changing experience that connected me to some truly wonderful people. I highly recommend Yana Yoga for classes, trainings and other events that will allow opportunities to strengthen your yoga practice, connect with amazing people, and foster you’re own self growth.

I just had a Reki session with Ellen. She was outstanding. It was a great session. I have also taken gentle yoga and restorative reki, both were wonderful. I loved it so much, I brought my family the second time. The studio is absolutely beautiful and serene. I highly recommend.

I stumbled upon Yana Yoga during an evening stroll. And I am so glad I did! Having done Yoga in India before, I was pleasantly surprised with the way yoga was taught here. There is a lot of emphasis on mindfulness which is a good way to judge a yoga class. They also emphasize stretching to help you further. I would 100% recommend this place

Love Yana Yoga! I’ve been going for a couple months now and always leave feeling refreshed and calm. Yana offers classes for beginners, as well as more moderate classes when you want a challenge. The instructors are friendly and always there to help you along the way!

If anyone has been thinking of trying yoga.
Yana yoga is Awsome! You should really give it a try. I started a while back due to injuries I had. It really does help as well as tone and strenghthen muscles. The instructors as well as the people who attend are all very good people, helpful and comfortable to be around. I have been to classes with Amber and Ellen who are both awsome! They work with you and help you if you need it. There are different level classes so, if you are just starting out or up for a challenge they have classes for all levels. You will love it! I love it! Thank you to Yana Yoga for helping me 😁 ❀

Yana is a place for all ~ when I moved to town while pregnant with my daughter, I felt fully welcome at Yana. I was in a very big transition and Amber helped to reconnect me to the Yoga roots of my past even while I was so far along in my pregnancy (and not able to move as usual!). Prenatal yoga was a must during those later weeks of pregnancy and I am so grateful that Amber and the other mamas were there. I always felt so great after class :D there aren't enough words of thanks.

I started yoga here a little over 3 years ago in one of the beginners class. I had almost no experience, & was not big on group classes. But yoga was recommended to me because of my arthritis, so I thought I would give it a try. I loved it! I immediately felt comfortable. Amber teaches in a way that's not intimidating, & she makes modifications for each student's needs. I now come 2-3 times a week most weeks, and I was able to keep it up for the majority of my recent pregnancy. I also now have very little joint pain, and have lost 25 pounds that I have kept off for the last three years.

There are a number of classes offered at Yana Yoga, but the only one I take is Gentle Yoga. Don't let the name deceive you, you get a good workout plus a nice amount of quiet time. Before you start taking this class Amber will talk with you to find out if you have any physical condition(s) that require an adaptation of the various yoga positions; she asks the group at the beginning of each class if anyone has anything new today that requires special treatment or care. I've taken other yoga courses throughout the years, but never have I found the combination of good exercise and personal attention that I get at Yana Yoga.

I love Yana Yoga! Amber is an incredibly talented teacher with an abundance of knowledge about physiology. Amber works carefully with all of us (her loyal clients!) to be sure that we are practicing yoga with proper alignment. Yana has helped to heal my body, mind, and spirit!

I started going to Yana Yoga few years back, before I moved overseas. It was and continues to be one of the best yoga experiences I have had. Amber, the owner, has wonderful technique and regardless of class size, paid individual attention to everyone, making sure that each person got the most out of each pose and were safe from injury. The vibe of the studio is also very warm and inviting and not at all intimidating (especially for beginners). I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to further their practice is a supportive and relaxed atmosphere.
